Paging Babylon Bee? WashPost Columnist Rants ‘7 Ways a Recession Could Be Good for You Financially’

A Washington Post columnist downplayed the plight of the millions of Americans who are struggling under high inflation, giving them “seven silver linings” for recession.  “Hey, a recession isn’t all bad news,” Washington Post personal finance columnist Michelle Singletary wrote in what read more like an op-ed than a news story. The headline of the Sept. 28 story was downright insulting to the millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet: “7 ways a recession could be good for you financially.” In her logic, “[A]s bad as things are — rising interest rates, high inflation, stock market tumbling — the economy hasn’t imploded as it did during the Great Depression.”   In other words, don’t worry, be happy! At least America hasn’t reached Great Depression levels of economic instability. Yikes. “Of course, times are tough — and for some people, much more than others. But remember that fear will not help you make wise financial decisions,” Singletary patronized to her readers. [Emphasis added.]  If that wasn’t bad enough, Singletary quoted former President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural speech in an attempt to convince the American people that “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” on recession. But even there, she hedged. “Here are seven silver linings if we are heading into a recession.” [Emphasis added].  She pointed to (1) housing prices, (2) saving rates, (3) the I bonds inflation rate, (4) the dollar, (5) unemployment, (6) used car prices and (7) student loan forgiveness to make her point.  The economy contracted for its second quarter in a row in August, meeting the traditional definition of a recession. But a “recession” means something different in The Washington Post’s universe, it seems.  Singletary continued to give unsolicited advice about the bright side of a recession. “While many people are hurting, there may be ways to cushion the downside,” she wrote.  She continued: “Unemployment is still relatively low. People with jobs and money to spare can spend on luxuries such as a vacation.”  But Brownstone Institute President Jeffrey Tucker blew up the liberal media’s narrative on the “red hot” job market in an August column in The Epoch Times headlined “The Jobs Hoax.” The economy is forcing people to pick up “second and third jobs,” Tucker explained. He later warned against trusting media spin on the economy  in an exclusive interview with MRC Business, “so we don’t find ourselves living in an Orwellian world, in which the government is forever broadcasting great news about the great glories of life while people are at home suffering and dying and wondering why their electricity bill is three times what it was six months ago.” To top it all off, Singletary celebrated President Joe Biden’s legally dubious student loan forgiveness plan, comparing him to Roosavelt using “his executive power to wage war against the economic emergency gripping the United States.”  Conservatives are under attack. Contact The Washington Post at 202-334-6000 and demand it quit telling falsehoods to its readers that a “recession could be good” for them “financially.”

Biden Gaffe Watch Day #2: Here’s What They’re Covering Instead of Cringe Shout Out to Dead Rep

Joe Biden Gaffe Watch: Day #2. As we noted on Wednesday night, the networks avoided the cringe-inducing moment when the President asked where a recently deceased Congresswoman was, wondering of Jackie Walorski: “Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie?” All three evening newscasts censored the President’s latest awkward moment.   How about Thursday? Despite an available six hours of air time, ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS Mornings and NBC’s Today all avoided it as well. But what about Hurricane Ian threatening Florida, you might ask? Would there be time? The networks rightly offered detailed coverage on this dangerous storm and all who were impacted by it.  But there was still time to cover Biden’s latest example of being confused in public. For instance, ABC’s Good Morning America managed to devote five minutes and six seconds to Hocus Pocus 2. Sounding like a commercial for his Disney overlords, co-host George Stephanopoulos enthused that the original has “come to define Halloween for a generation of kids and their parents.” Shilling for his corporate parent, he reminded, “[Hocus Pocus 2] starts streaming tomorrow on Disney+!”      GMA allowed another five minutes and 51 seconds for a cooking segment with reporter Stephanie Ramos.  Over on the Today show, co-host Savannah Guthrie sold products that are available on the Today show websites, offering deals on “wonderknit bralettes and bikinis,” “drop hoop earrings, “plant-based milk makers” and “bedding collections.” This went on for five minutes and eight seconds. That was followed by a four minute and 25 second cooking segment with Gabby Dalkin.  CBS Mornings was the only show that devoted all two hours to the hurricane. That doesn’t excuse the co-hosts from covering Biden’s latest embarrassment. But at least it can be argued as a decision to focus on serious things. ABC and NBC have no excuse for not ignoring the Biden gaffe. No excuse other than Biden Protection Duty.

Noah Mocks Biden's Latest Gaffe, Other Late Night Hosts Ignore

Of the six regular late night comedians, only Comedy Central’s The Daily Show host Trevor Noah used his Wednesday show to highlight President Biden’s latest gaffe where he sought out Rep. Jackie Walorski, who died in a car crash in August. After running down a list of what he considers to be Biden’s accomplishments, Noah declared, “In fact, many people are actually saying that Biden might have a really good shot at winning a second term in office. All he needs to do though is avoid doing stuff like this.”     After playing a clip of the gaffe, Noah continued to highlight the awkwardness of the situation, “No, no, Joe what are you doing? That's so awkward, and his explanation didn't help, you know, he’s like “of course I knew Jackie wasn't there, I was looking for Jackie Kennedy where's Jackie Kennedy, where--where are you, Jackie, where's Jackie O.”  Choosing to look on the bright side of life, Noah continued, “Look, I mean, I guess on the up side at least he noticed she wasn't there. This is a good thing. Yeah, it could’ve been much worse if he was like ‘where’s Jackie? Oh, there she is, there’s Jackie, everyone look at Jackie.’” Continuing with the sarcastic optimism, Noah concluded, “And look I know a lot of people are saying this is another example of Biden's brain being foggy but I think if anything, this makes Biden a better president. Yeah, think of how hard he must be working to keep Americans safe knowing that Osama Bin Laden is still out there somewhere. ‘Where is he, where is he, Jack where is he?’” While Noah highlighted Biden’s latest moment of indignity, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers all ignored it. Meanwhile, James Corden discovered what he considers to be Biden’s “biggest gaffe yet”: not holding a conference with the leaders of various Pacific island countries in Fiji. Ultimately, he also ignored the real gaffe. This segment was sponsored by DoorDash. Here is a transcript for the September 28 show: Comedy Central The Daily Show with Trevor Noah 9/28/2022 11:06 PM ET TREVOR NOAH:  In fact, many people are actually saying that Biden might have a really good shot at winning a second term in office. All he needs to do though is avoid doing stuff like this.  MALE REPORTER: An awkward moment for President Biden today at a White House conference. While calling out people in the audience he accidentally included Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski who was killed in a car crash over the summer.  JOE BIDEN: I want to thank all of you here including bipartisan elected officials like Representative McGovern, Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative-- Jackie, you here? Where’s Jackie? I don't think she was -- she wasn’t going to be here—to help make this a reality. NOAH: No, no, Joe what are you doing? That's so awkward, and his explanation didn't help, you know, he’s like “of course I knew Jackie wasn't there, I was looking for Jackie Kennedy where's Jackie Kennedy, where--where are you, Jackie, where's Jackie O.”  Look, I mean, I guess on the up side at least he noticed she wasn't there. This is a good thing. Yeah, it could’ve been much worse if he was like “where’s Jackie? Oh, there she is, there’s Jackie, everyone look at Jackie.” People are like “There’s no Jackie” “she’s there everyone sees Jackie.” And look I know a lot of people are saying this is another example of Biden's brain being foggy but I think if anything, this makes Biden a better president. Yeah, think of how hard he must be working to keep Americans safe knowing that Osama Bin Laden is still out there somewhere. “Where is he, where is he, Jack where is he?”

Egotistic Chelsea Clinton: “We Were The Reason Fox News Was Created”

For the Clintons, it’s always all about the Clintons.

Hillary and Chelsea Clinton did an interview with Variety for their “Power of Women” issue.

They have a new documentary series “Gutsy” — which is going to explore the lives of prominent women.

Will Marjorie Taylor Greene be on the list?

Nope.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Hillary Clinton announced viewers will be able to join her and daughter Chelsea Clinton on a journey exploring the lives of prominent women beginning this fall.

Clinton announced their documentary series Gutsy will premiere Sept. 9 on Apple TV+.

Gutsy is an eight-part docuseries following the mother-daughter duo as they discuss topics such as life, careers, and courage with high-profile women and other mothers and daughters, including Gloria Steinem, Jane Goodall, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Goldie Hawn, and Kate Hudson.

Hillary and Chelsea got their glamor shot on Variety’s cover:

Image

During the interview, Chelsea Clinton said that her family was the reason Fox News was created.

She then smeared Fox News — saying it has a “destructive impact.”

Variety reported:

Your family was the first great target of Fox News’ approach.

Chelsea: We were the reason that Fox News was created. Because Rupert Murdoch recognized a great market opportunity.

As a media enterprise on a much smaller scale than Fox, do you see yourselves as fighting back?

Chelsea: Climate change illuminated where Fox News was willing to go and its destructive impact. It’s not singularly about Fox News; it’s also about conservative and right-wing enterprises that sprung up during the 1990s and early 2000s. I’m 42, and when I was in junior high, two-thirds of Americans knew human activity is partly responsible for climate change. The right proved to themselves, “We can hit people with relentless misinformation and every night pipe into their homes to disbelieve scientists — what else could be possible?” Today, with COVID, it’s the same playbook.

Hillary Clinton also whined about the power of Fox News.

She called for her side to be more “relentless” and “to point out the dangers, point out the falsehoods, point out the hypocrisy.”

The Independent reported:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, added that the power wielded by the news network remained “quite frustrating because they get away with it”.

“The so-called mainstream media, even the so-called progressive media, is just not as relentless in rebutting, refuting, and making clear that this is nothing but a play for profits at the cost of truth,” she said.

“Tech companies, the rest of journalism, ordinary people with platforms, we haven’t done enough to point out the dangers, point out the falsehoods, point out the hypocrisy.”

Hillary Clinton has a long history of lying — yet instead smears conservatives as misinformation.

Outrageous!

REPORT: Dr. Fauci’s Income Net Worth Nearly Doubled During Pandemic While 200,000 Small Businesses Closed Down Due to His Policies

A new report by Open the Books reveals that Dr. Anthony Fauci’s net worth nearly doubled during the COVID pandemic.

Facui’s wealth soared by $5 million during the pandemic as he shut down and bankrupted businesses across the country.

Up to 200,000 extra small businesses closed their doors during the pandemic. That was on top of the 600,000 businesses that close in a given year.

Maybe this explains what Dr. Fauci would not answer Senator Rand Paul’s questions on how top doctors were being compensated by the vaccine companies.

RAND PAUL BRINGS THE FIRE! Grills Fauci on Royalties NIH Research Doctors Received from Vaccine Companies! (VIDEO)

Maybe this explains why Fauci was so insistent on promoting the failed experimental vaccines?

Via Open the Books.

WASHINGTON – Government spending watchdog OpenTheBooks.com has released an analysis of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s 2021 financial disclosure form after receiving it from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Wednesday.

The nonprofit’s team of auditors found much of their previous forecasting to be confirmed and that the Fauci household’s wealth had soared to over $12.6 million. During FY20 and FY21, the height of the pandemic, Fauci’s household net worth rose by $5 million.

Also confirmed is that Fauci has continued earning more than the President of the United States. In 2021, he received $456,000 in compensation. He’s already told the Washington Post that the number is ballooning to $480,000 for 2022.

ANALYSIS: COMPENSATION, INVESTMENT GAINS, AWARDS, TRAVEL PERKS, PRIVATE ROYALTIES

OpenTheBooks.com has persistently fought for transparency around NIH’s finances and whether it impacts their public health decisions, as well as for the compensation of Dr. Fauci and his wife Christine Grady. Grady is Chief of NIH Clinical Center’s Department of Bioethics. While he out-earns the President, she out-earns the Vice President of the United States. Grady collected $238,970 in 2021 and has earned over $1.6 million since 2015.

OpenTheBooks.com Founder and CEO Adam Andrzejewski is available for bookings and comments on the latest findings.

BACKGROUND

The watchdog’s years-long effort includes four lawsuits with the Department of Health and Human Services over its lack of transparency.

The organization’s investigation into private royalties paid to NIH and its scientists has sparked interest from a group of senators led by Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who has vowed to continue investigating after Fauci’s retirement. He and four more senators on the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee have written NIH demanding answers. The findings also led Rep. John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) to question NIH acting director Lawrence Tabak directly in a public hearing.

OpenTheBooks.com reported Dr. Fauci’s 2021 salary in Forbes Magazine, which precipitated his questioning by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Ks.) about why the information isn’t easily available to the public. The tense exchange ended with Fauci audibly referring to Marshall as a “moron.”

Message to Parents: Stay Out of Your Kids’ Education and Trust Teachers to Indoctrinate Them

A group called Families for Freedom recently took issue with a “race, gender, equality, and inclusivity” vocabulary packet produced by a Connecticut 10th grade English teacher, alleging that it was critical race theory (CRT).  Educators rallied to defend the packet, arguing the parents were threatening free speech and suggesting their protests were equivalent to book burning. Not surprisingly, 62 faculty from Southern Connecticut State University signed on to a letter in this vein.  According to the Hartford Courant, “The SCSU faculty said that while parents are free to engage in or refrain from speaking about topics concerning sexuality and racism in their own homes, they should not manage classroom instruction.” So parents should just have faith that teachers will be responsible in how they instruct their children? Considering the state of public education in America, that would amount to dereliction of parental duty. Also, why is an English teacher educating students on these topics? They seem irrelevant and unnecessarily imposed.  Families for Freedom was not unreasonable, stating that these topics should be taught, but that they should be taught as theory, not facts. Some quotes from the packet appear to be stating facts such as: “No individual is personally responsible for what white people have done or the historical decisions of the American government, but you are responsible for whether you are currently upholding the systems that elevate white people over people of color.”  Quite a large responsibility for a 10th grade English class student …  Maybe if this was a sociology class, this packet would be justified, but these issues should not be forced into an English class.  It is understandable why parents would be outraged at this and it should be celebrated that they are taking such an interest in their children’s education. Parents should respect teachers, but they shouldn’t be expected to unconditionally trust them. There should be dialogue and compromise, not criticism and shunning.

Are They Planning on ‘Vaccinating’ the Masses Against Our Will? Why Did The NIH Use a Box Of Genetically Modified Mosquitoes to Vaccinate Study Patients?

A hive of genetically modified mosquitoes effectively vaccinated a human against malaria in a National Institute of Health-funded trial of the insects’ ability to innoculate.

Scientists conducting the study held approximately 200 hungry, gene-altered mosquitoes captive in a box.

Human participants placed their arms over the box of mosquitoes, allowing the blood-thirsty insects to feast on their flesh.

Mosquitoes can easily replace traditional injections, contends Dr. Sean Murphy, a researcher who conducted the study.

“We use the mosquitoes like they’re 1,000 small flying syringes,” Murphy told NPR.

The mosquitoes transmitted live malaria-inducing Plasmodium parasites to the twenty-six participants of the study, who each received $4.100 to undergo the experiment.

A minimal amount of the fatal disease was transmitted via the mosquitoes’ attack on their arms, not enough to make people sick.

750 million genetically modified mosquitoes to be released across Florida Keys | US News | Sky News

The hundreds of mosquito bites provided enough antibodies to last a few months.

Researchers genetically modified the mosquitoes using genome technology known as Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats, CRISPR, a highly advanced pair of molecular scissors, is used to cut DNA.

Participants received three to five “vaccinations” over 30-day intervals.

“Half of the individuals in each vaccine group did not develop detectable P. falciparum infection, and a subset of these individuals was subjected to a second CHMI 6 months later and remained partially protected. These results support further development of genetically attenuated sporozoites as potential malaria vaccines,” researchers maintain.

Confirmation of mosquitoes’ capacity to “vaccinate” is a scientific breakthrough, exclaims Dr. Kirsten Lyke. Lyke was not involved in the mosquito study, but led the phase 1 trial for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. She also was also a co-investigator for Moderna and Novavax COVID jabs.

The research is “a total game changer,” Lyke contends.

One participant of the study, Carolina Reid, claims she enjoyed the experiment with GMO mosquitoes so much that she now wants to participate in as many vaccine trials as she can, The Counter Signal reports.

Carolina Reid participated in a clinical trial for a new experimental Malaria vaccine based upon live malaria parasites.

During the trial, Reid “put her arm over a cardboard box filled with 200 mosquitoes and covered with a mesh that keeps them in but still lets them bite. ‘Literally a Chinese food takeout container’ is how she remembers it. A scientist then covered her arm with a black cloth, because mosquitoes like to bite at night,” NPR reports. “Then the feeding frenzy began.”

“My whole forearm swelled and blistered,” Reid said. “My family was laughing, asking like, ‘Why are you subjecting yourself to this?”

The team of NIH-funded researchers claim the genetically modified mosquitoes will not be employed to vaccinate the masses and were only used to trial malaria vaccination to save costs.

“He and his colleagues went this route because it is costly and time-consuming to develop a formulation of a parasite that can be delivered with a needle,” NPR notes.

In a statement to Bloomberg, a CNN spokesperson said that while audio remains an important area of focus, the network had learned a lot about the topics and productions that most resonate with audiences. “As a result, we’ve refined our strategy to focus our resources more specifically in those areas,” the spokesperson said.

CNN recently offered podcast updates. In August, former National Public Radio host Audie Cornish said her new show, The Assignment, would debut in October. The network also premiered All There Is, hosted by Anderson Cooper.

CNN is firing podcast employees despite the fact that ad spending on podcasts is only going up.

Adweek reported:

It’s a decision at odds with the current state of audio. According to a Statista report from August, ad spending for the medium is only going up, projecting to hit more than $2 billion in 2023 and surpass $2.5 billion in 2024.

CNN took its audio efforts seriously in 2020 when it launched a podcast division and introduced a slate of new shows and put its already-running podcasts under the umbrella. The network hired executives Lisa Namerow as head of podcast and audio partnerships, and Megan Marcus as ep of audio. Both will remain at the company.

Audio content also grew this year for the network, with weekly shows such as Diversifying With Delyanne Barros, which talks all things finance for younger generations, and All There Is hosted by longtime CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, which follows him on a journey of loss and grief.

One employee who lost his job sent out a Tweet confirming the firings.

He said they were told he was fired because CNN is doing fewer audio series next year.

Some bittersweet personal news: I learned today that my position at @CNN
Audio is being eliminated, along with the positions of some of my podcasting colleagues.

Why? I don’t know, exactly. We were told the company plans to produce fewer audio series next year.

It’s a shame because we’ve produced some A+ content, including a podcast that’s currently in the top 10 overall on @ApplePodcasts.

But I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, especially on the marketing and product side.

Is CNN failing even in a growing industry?

Turning America into a Society Based on Caste

EXCLUSIVE Interview: AZ State Senate Candidate Roxana Holzapfel’s Anti-Police Democrat Opponent Did Not Show Up For Work In Fear Of COVID, “MISSED 93% Of The Vote And Got 100% Of Taxpayer Senate Pay AND Per Diem”

The Gateway Pundit recently spoke to former Police Officer and Kari Lake-Endorsed Arizona State Senate Nominee Roxana Holzapfel, who is running against Radical Left Democrat incumbent Juan Mendez.

“Missing Mendez” skipped 94% of the 2022 legislative session with State AntiSemite Rep. Athena Salman due to COVID-19 fears, and they may not even show up next legislative session.

AZ Central reported in May,

For two Arizona lawmakers who normally spend several months each year at the state Capitol, the building is one of the places they’ve seen least this year.

Absent since the start of the legislative session in January, Rep. Athena Salman and Sen. Juan Mendez, both Democrats from Tempe and a married couple, have avoided the Legislature, citing the risk of exposing their newborn daughter to COVID-19.

They continue to collect their $24,000 salary and the daily per diem pay, which amounted to $3,395 as of mid-April. On the rare days when they have ventured to the Capitol, they are entitled to payment for mileage.

When they actually show up to work, Mendez and Salman support destructive democratic policies like defunding the police, rigged elections, illegal immigration, and sexual education for students in Kindergarten and first grade.

Both Mendez and Salman previously helped CHILD RAPIST Tony Navarrete draft a bill requiring all Arizona schools to teach sexual education instruction starting in Kindergarten. The failed attempt by Democrats would require schools to begin sexual education instruction with students as young as four years old.

Juan Mendez

This is the Democratic agenda. They all want to sexualize your children.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Superintendent of Public instruction Democrat Kathy Hoffman is facing a lawsuit for grooming children and sending them to sexual chat rooms called “Q chat” for LGBTQ youth to talk about sex, gender, and relationships.

SICK! AZ Superintendent Of Public Instruction Democrat Kathy Hoffman Sued for Directing Minors To Hyper-Sexualized Chat Rooms And Grooming Students

Roxana called this “lewd and lascivious behavior” and told The Gateway Pundit, “you used to put people in jail for things like that.”

These sickos don’t care about the safety of children in the classroom or on the streets.

We reported that more than one million fentanyl pills were seized from a home in Avondale, Arizona, in what police call the “single largest fentanyl seizure in Phoenix police history.”

Democrats DON’T CARE: “Single Largest Fentanyl Seizure In Phoenix Police History” – OVER ONE MILLION Fentanyl Pills Seized From Arizona Home

This deadly drug is pouring into our country in record numbers and killing men, women, and children. The new weapon of mass destruction is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45 years old, surpassing COVID.

Roxana has vowed to help Kari Lake accomplish her bold agenda on the southern border, which includes designating the Cartels as terrorists and declaring an invasion on day one of her administration.

Conradson: Your current incumbent opponent hasn’t even been showing up for work. Tell us about that.

Holzapfel: That’s correct. In this last legislative session, he missed 94% of the days in session. He missed 93% of the vote and got 100% of taxpayer Senate pay and per diem.

Conradson: I understand he’s been voting against election integrity. He’s been voting for this disgusting curriculum in schools where they’re forcing sexualized material onto children. You’re a former police officer. What are your thoughts on that? As a former law enforcement official, what did you used to do to people like that?

Holzapfel: Well, you used to put people in jail for things like that; lewd and lascivious behavior. Now, it’s okay by the Democrats to do that to children. So it’s reprehensible, and it’s unconscionable, and it’s illegal. Period.

Conradson: We also have lawlessness at our southern border. Drugs, crime, everything, it’s pouring across. What are you going to do to secure our border?

Holzapfel: I was a police officer, and as a police officer, you showed up every day. You had calls you didn’t like, but you were there. You took an oath, you showed up, and you expect nothing less from your lawmakers that you elect. Okay? So bottom line, we need cops on the street. Right now, cops are demoralized, they’re being demeaned, they’re being just brutalized. Nobody wants to be a police officer and wear that uniform, and it’s hard to wear that uniform. I’ve worn it. So we need to support our cops, not defund our cops. My opponent is for defunding the police. We need more cops on the street. More cops on the street puts less crime on the street because it’s just math. You have more presence, you have less burglaries, you have less car thefts, you have less homelessness, you have less drugs. Again, it’s math. So we need more cops, and I’ll do everything I can to help continue the fence around the border, but also get more cops on the street.

Conradson: Are you committed to helping Kari Lake pass her full agenda to secure the southern border?

Holzapfel: Absolutely. Kari Lake has endorsed me. I endorse Kari; she’s awesome for this state. We need her in the state and we need people like myself that will roll up our sleeves and get the job done. Day one. I will show up. Day one to work for everybody in my district and in Arizona. I will not be hiding in my house.

Help Roxana Holzapfel’s campaign HERE.

Marxist New Zealand PM Labels Internet Freedom and Free Speech a “Weapon of War” in This Week’s UN Speech (VIDEO)

New Zealand communist Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern labeled internet freedom a “weapon of war” in her most recent UN speech before the General Assembly this week.

Leftist Ardern, who ruled her country like a 20th Century despot during the COVID pandemic, called out for a new type of internet with “rules and transparency.”

In the next breath, she says she “values free speech so highly.” She is the typical leftist elitist leader in the world today. And she insists on giving Communist Justin Trudeau a run for his money.

Jacinda Ardern asked, “How do you tackle climate change if people don’t believe it exists?”

And, “How do you ensure the human rights of others are upheld when they are subjected to hateful and dangerous ideology?”

Ardern does not understand the concept of human rights she pretends to promote.

She really is the worst.

LA County Health Services Director Says 90% of Covid Positive Patients Were Not Hospitalized for Covid-19 (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, Dr. Christina Ghaly, the Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS), revealed that 90% of COVID-positive patients in four DHS hospitals were not hospitalized for COVID-19 contrary to previous reports.

During the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Meeting, Dr. Ghaly presented the data on the number of COVID patients in 4 DHS hospitals over the past 6 months, ending on September 22nd.

“The study [found a] decline in the total number of inpatients who have positive COVID tests,” said Dr. Ghaly.

According to Ghaly, PCR results tend to give false positives for a couple of months.

“If you recall, we do test everyone on admission to the hospital for COVID. We used a PCR test, and because of that, there’s a lagging positivity given that the PCR test often remains positive for a couple of months, and it will take time for the trendline to decline to the point where it again mirrors the general population,” she said.

“We do still periodically chart audits to look at the total [percentage] of patients who are in the hospital for their COVID illness rather than just with positive COVID test, and that number is currently at 10 percent,” she said.

Kathryn Ann Barger-Leibrich, serving as a Republican member of the LA County Board of Supervisors, asked Dr. Ghaly, “what percentage were admitted for COVID and what percentage were admitted and then tested positive for COVID?”

Dr. Ghaly responded, “This is for the four DHS hospitals where we do the manual chart reviews to look at that. 10% are admitted to the hospital for COVID, and 90% are there for incidental findings. But they’re primarily there for another reason.”

The CDC has known about the faulty PCR tests from the beginning, but they still use it to test for COVID-19.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky last December said testing at the end of quarantine is no longer needed because PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks or 3 months, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

“So, what we do know is the PCR test after infection can be positive for up to 12 weeks so that is not going to be helpful,” Walensky said on “Good Morning America.”

“CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test… CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses,” according to CDC’s website.

In free lunch fraud: Analyze this

(Scott Johnson)

I’m scheduled to join Jon Justice on KTLK this morning at about 8:35 to discuss the massive $250 million free lunch fraud. The $250 million represents the payment of federal funds administered by the Minnesota Department of Education. The show can be live streamed here. I want to compile related materials for listeners in this post.

United States Attorney Andrew Luger announced charges against 47 defendants in six indictments and three criminal informations at a press conference on September 20 (video below). Two additional defendants have been charged since then. The press release includes Luger’s salient quote: “This was a brazen scheme of staggering proportions.” The emphasis should be on “brazen.”

Luger presented the factual background with illustrative exhibits at the press conference. At the same time the Department of Justice issued press release summarizing the charges and posted PDFs of the indictments online. The indictment of ringleader Aimee Bock and 13 other defendants, for example, is posted here.

The Minnesota Department of Education administered the free lunch programs in which the funds were paid out to perpetrators of the fraud. Some $200 million of the funds were paid out in 2021 after the MDE had detected the fraud. Aided and abetted by the Star Tribune, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison have sought to shift the blame for the continuing payments to Ramsey County Judge John Guthmann and to the FBI. Indeed, Governor Walz called for an investigation of Judge Guthmann. Judge Guthmann responded this past Thursday in this press release that called out both Walz and the Star Tribune. The key document supporting Judge Guthmann’s press release is the transcript of the April 21, 2021 hearing before him in the lawsuit brought by Feeding Our Future against MDE. This is the key passage of the press release:

[T]he Department of Education voluntarily resumed making payments to FOF. The Department of Education was not ordered by the court to do so. After the Department resumed voluntary payments, counsel for the Department of Education wrote the court asking that FOF’s motion for sanctions based on non-payment be denied as moot because the Department voluntarily resumed payments. In a later court filing related to FOF’s separate motion for sanctions based on the failure to approve or deny 144 applications for new food delivery sites, the Department of Education advised the court that FOF’s serious deficiencies were resolved as of June 4, 2021. Of the 144 applications, 143 were denied, resulting in FOF’s separate administrative appeal.

On February 26, 2022, the Star Tribune reported on a federal investigation of FOF. The article included the following false statement: “In April 2021, Ramsey County District Judge John Guthmann told the department it didn’t have the authority to stop payments and ordered the department to resume payments.” Since February, that Star Tribune quote has been repeated or paraphrased on many occasions by many other media outlets. The same media sources reported that, in her April 4, 2022, testimony to the Minnesota Senate, the Commissioner of the Education stated that the MN Department of Education tried to stop payments to FOF, only to be ordered by Judge Guthmann to resume payments. That is false. Then, when federal indictments were announced this week, many new reports were published. On September 22, 2022, Governor Tim Walz told the media that the Minnesota Department of Education attempted to end payments to FOF because of possible fraud, but that Judge Guthmann ordered payments to continue in April 2021. That is also false.

As the public court record and Judge Guthmann’s orders make plain, Judge Guthmann never issued an order requiring the MN Department of Education to resume food reimbursement payments to FOF. The Department of Education voluntarily resumed payments and informed the court that FOF resolved the “serious deficiencies” that prompted it to suspend payments temporarily. All of the MN Department of Education food reimbursement payments to FOF were made voluntarily, without any court order.

Ellison appeared on Tuesday morning for an interview by WCCO’s Vineeta Sawkar (audio below). You can feel the flop sweat break out on Ellison’s forehead as Sawkar ever so slightly pressed him on his nonfeasance in shutting down the fraud. Citing Ellison’s own timeline on the scandal, she asked who knew what when. (Ellison’s timeline links to the 66-page affidavit of FBI Special Agent Travis Wilmer supporting the search warrants that were executed all over the Twin Cities in January.)

Responding to Sawkar, Ellison hemmed and hawed, pleaded attorney-client privilege, referred to cooperation with the FBI investigation, and repeatedly alleged compulsion by Judge Guthmann’s mythical “order” to continue payments. Ellison proclaimed at 13:30 of the audio clip: “This is a success story.”

Interesting – Surveillance video of a guy shot by a man who was roving around his block for a hour, before stopping in the middle of the street, reversing course, and heading back to intercept his target right in front of the target’s apartment, where he killed the target out of the blue, without even an exchange of words, and without robbing him. Interesting, in that there is no surveillance. Absolutely no traffic of any kind, foot or vehicular, at all, even as the shooter hits intersections. Was it coincidence, retaliation to hurt him in some way, or orders from Cabal to help him promote his new show and become the latest pied piper gatekeeper of the right? The funny thing to me is that people call guys like him a gatekeeper, or pretend they are put there to turn us this way or that. Like William F. Buckley was installed as the voice of the right to marginalize the John Birch Society among conservatives. The reality is, I do not think we matter in their minds. They are going to do whatever they want. They have their people in all the media, and all the political offices, and even all the judgeships and other offices and positions of power or influence, down to Hollywood. These guys are just there to make each of us individually, think that these guys have somehow influenced everyone else, and what we are seeing is not the shadow dictatorship. I don’t think Buckley did anything, but give every controlled piece of the machine cover to ignore the John Birch Society, which is what they were going to do anyway. The only difference was, would we know it was a shadow dictatorship, or could they fool us, and make us think we still had any influence.

The British government is experimenting with feeding African kids worms, locusts, and flies. The truth is, I am not entirely confident of how we would process those as food. There can be weird bioactive, hormone-like stuff in insects which we might not be well evolved to cope with in our systems. How long has it been since humans tried to subsist off things like crickets, or flies? Do we still have everything needed to digest them? Did we ever eat them at quantity, in amounts we could get obese off of, as is the habit in the west? Maybe some of that stuff isn’t so bad if you eat three crickets per day, but a pound of cricket meat is way too much. I have no idea about any of that, and all of this is too complex for anyone, even a supposed expert to tell you decisively without seeing a load of people eat a pound per day for a year, and see how they do. Again, let other people eat these things in half-pound amounts every day for a year or two before you let anyone you love get exposed. And I only hold it as possible, as I could see a period coming where there will not be anything else.

SICK! Spain’s Minister Of Equality Says Children “Have The Right To Know That They Can Love And Have SEXUAL RELATIONS With ANYONE”

The Spanish Minister of Equality Irene Montero recently spoke before a legislative commission and said that children “have the right to know that they can love and have sexual relations with ANYONE that they want” and that no adult may touch a child’s body, but only “if they don’t want them to.”

“Regardless of who their families are,” she adds.

She also extended these rights to include “trans-children.”

We knew this was coming, and it is not only happening in Spain.

The Gateway Pundit recently reported on new video footage of a little girl — who appears to be about 4-5 years old — wearing a “rainbow” dress at a drag show and rubbing her hand repeatedly up and down the genitals of a man dressed like the “Little Mermaid.” At the same time, the grown man stands still and allows the little girl to pet him.

This occurred in Chattanooga, Tennessee, while Disney tunes played in the background.

BEYOND SICK! Drag Queen Dances While Little Girl Repeatedly Rubs Her Hand Up and Down the Crotch of “Little Mermaid” Costume While Another Drag Queen Spreads Legs Wide Open On Stage For Toddlers [VIDEO]

Ten years ago, they called this pedophilia, but you’re not allowed to say that anymore.

Of course, the far-left lying Associate Press fact-checked this claim about the Spanish leader as “false,” saying the comments were “mischaracterized.” Still, they admitted to the accuracy of the dubbed video, which can be seen below.

AP reported,

CLAIM: Spain’s minister of equality said during a parliamentary hearing that children should have the right to consent to sex with adults.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Irene Montero, Spain’s minister of equality, did not suggest this when she spoke before a legislative commission last week. The left-wing politician was discussing provisions in a proposed abortion law that deal with sex education programs, including material about consent. A short video clip of her remarks was taken out of context.

“Spain’s Minister of Equality Irene Montero: ‘Childrenx’ have the right to consent to sexual relations with adults,” wrote one Instagram user who shared the clip of her remarks on Wednesday. The post received more than 4,000 likes.

But Montero said nothing of the sort. The translation included with many of the video clips circulating online shows the minister was speaking about sex education. She had been arguing that the sexual and reproductive rights that the legislation is seeking to enshrine into law are fundamental to a democracy.

“But to talk about sex education, for example, which is a right of boys and girls, regardless of who their families are,” Montero said in Spanish. “Every boy, every girl, every trans child in this country has the right to know their own body, to know that no adult can touch their body if they don’t want them to, and that if they do then that is a form of violence.”

“They have the right to know that they can love and have sexual relations with ANYONE that they want, based on mutual consent,” she continued. “These are recognized rights.”

Montero’s comments make clear that she said unwanted sexual contact between children and adults amounts to violence. She did not say that sexual contact between those groups should be allowed, or would be considered a right.

Somehow, despite Montero saying that “Every boy, every girl, every trans child in this country has the right to know their own body, to know that no adult can touch their body” but only “if they don’t want them to,” and that children can have “sexual relations with ANYONE that they want,” the AP is trying to say this was “taken out of context.”

The AP claims, “She did not say that sexual contact between those groups should be allowed, or would be considered a right.” However, Montero said, “They have the right to know that they can love and have sexual relations with ANYONE that they want, based on mutual consent.”

However, Montero did not say that boys and girls have the right to love or have sex with other minors. She said they have the right to have sex with “anyone.”

Regardless, children should not be having sex with each other. In some places, sex between two minors can still qualify as statutory rape if they are below the age of consent. Sexual education should advise children to wait and make responsible, informed decisions.

What kind of person wants children to have sex with each other?

Montero also did not say that adults cannot touch children’s bodies. She said that “no adult can touch their body if they don’t want them to.”

Convicted Sex Offender Jailed Again for Attempted Kidnapping in Chicago Less than 24 Hours after Being Released without Posting Bail

Less than a day after being released from prison on no bail for failing to register as a sex offender, the ex-con is back behind bars for attempted kidnapping and battery.

Quavon Ewing, 32, has been charged with attempted kidnapping and aggravated battery for allegedly attacking three women in the span of 45 minutes, less than 24 hours after he appeared in a Cook County Court on a different charge, WGNTV reported.

He was released released on a felony recognizance bond by Cook County judge.

Quavon Ewing was accused of trying to drag a woman into his car on Sunday. Authorities said he also beat another woman in the 100 block of West Roosevelt Road and another in the 600 block of South State Street on the same day.

More from WGNTV:

Prosecutors told a judge Wednesday that Ewing put one woman into a bear hug and began moaning and groaning while calling her “baby.”  The woman bit her attacker on the neck and got away.

In the second incident, 15 minutes later, prosecutors say Ewing grabbed a woman by the shoulders and attempted to push her into the van while repeatedly punching her. The woman got away when a witness intervened and the man fled.

Prosecutors say 15 minutes after the second attack, CTA surveillance video captured Ewing urinating in a CTA Blue Line station and then throwing a bottle of the urine on a woman.

Prosecutors said two of the women later identified Ewing as their attacker in a photo line-up.

As the bond hearing started, Ewing asked the judge: “Can I make a statement?”  Judge Maryam Ahmad quickly fired back: “No, you may not.  We are going to do the talking.”  She then muted his microphone.   Judge Ahmad was the same judge who released Ewing on an I-Bond Saturday after police arrested him for failing to register as a sex offender.

After going through the charges and Ewing’s criminal history, which includes prior convictions and prison sentences for criminal sexual abuse, aggravated battery and criminal trespass to property, the judge called Ewing “real and present danger to the community” and set his bond on the most recent charges at $500,000.

Ewing was required to register as a sex offender after his previous conviction but failed to do so prompting the Saturday court hearing in which he was released on an I-Bond.

Ewing’s defense attorney said his client suffers from bipolar and schizophrenia.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Democrats recently passed a new law in Illinois that will eliminate the cash bail system starting on January 1, 2023.  This is according to the new law aimed at reforming the state’s criminal justice system. This will lead to more crimes in the state.

This will result in the release on no bail while awaiting court date of those accused of certain felonies, such as “second-degree murder, aggravated battery, and arson without bail, as well as drug-induced homicide, kidnapping, burglary, robbery, intimidation, aggravated DUI, aggravated fleeing and eluding, drug offenses and threatening a public official.”

Republican Mayor of Orland Park, Keith Pekau, said in a press conference recently that this new law would deny victims their constitutional rights.

“Offenders released on electronic monitoring have to be in violation for 48 hours before law enforcement can act. They can almost drive to Alaska before we can even look for them,” said Pekau.

“It denies victims their constitutional rights. And keep this in mind, businesses and homeowners will no longer be able to remove trespassers from your residence or your businesses. Someone could decide to live in your shed, and all we can do is give them a ticket. You have to decide what level of force is required to remove them and whether or not it’s legal. This is a massive threat to the residents of Orland Park, Cook County in Illinois,” he said.

THE IRONY: Recent Temple University Graduate Gunned Down in Philidelphia Was 2020 Democrat Election Organizer

It was reported earlier today that a young man and recent graduate from Temple University was gunned down in Philidelphia.

23-year-old Everett Beauregard was seen on video walking up to his South Philly apartment on Thursday, September 22 just after midnight when a gunman shot him to death.

According to police, the murder suspect had been circling the neighborhood on foot for one hour before he randomly shot and killed Everett Beauregard.

The two men did not exchange any words before the suspect turned and fired shots.

HORROR: Recent Temple University Graduate Gunned Down in Democrat-Run Philadelphia (VIDEO)

Now it turns out per a cursory review of his work profile, Beauregard was a Democrat Election organizer in the 2020 Election.

His murderer wandered around the neighborhood before murdering Beauregard.  This is clear in the video above.  Once they met, Beauregard was dead.

There is no information suggesting that the murder had anything to do with the 2020 Election other than the fact that the Democrats won races in Philidelphia and this is what you get in today’s Democrat run cities.
