Jodie Foster being cemented in Hollywood won't persuade sons to watch her films: 'They don't seem to care'

Jodie Foster celebrating her Handprint and Footprint Ceremony on Friday apparently isn't enough to get her two adult sons to watch her films. The actress and filmmaker said this accomplishment in Hollywood was her "childhood fantasy."

White House defends Biden's claim his uncle was eaten by cannibals: 'We should not make jokes'

During Friday's White House press briefing, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended President Biden's cannibalism comment about his Uncle Bosie and called out Donald Trump in the process.

NBC's Alba Wrongly Hints Columbine Mass Shooters Bought Guns Legally

In a few appearances on Thursday afternoon, NBC News White House correspondent Monica Alba helped spread misinformation about there being a link between gun shows and school shootings as she promoted President Joe Biden's latest push to require unlicensed gun dealers to do background checks on buyers. MSNBC afternoon host Chris Jansing set up a segment on the issue and asked Alba to explain how the President's move was to "fill a loophole." "And, Chris, we know all too well there are horrible stories about shooters who maybe were denied the ability to purchase a gun at a sporting goods store, but then they were able to go online and buy one because it was an unauthorized retailer," she proclaimed. What she refused to meantion was that firearms purchased online needed to be delivered to licenced firearms dealers, whereupon pick up, the purchaser would have a background check conducted.     Then, even though the gunman who attacked a school in Uvalde, Texas, in 2022 passed a background check to buy his gun, Alba misleadingly made it sound like the new background checks requirement was somehow relevant to this case as she continued: "So this is really the Biden White House trying to curb that, and it's something that specifically became a huge movement and moment for the White House to try to accomplish after the horrific school shooting in Uvalde. So this was something that the President vowed to do." A bit later, Alba misleadingly suggested a background check requirement might have prevented the school shootings at Columbine 25 years ago: And, again, Chris, we're talking about just next week it's going to be the 25th anniversary of the Columbine shooting, and those shooters were able to get those guns, again, through this unauthorized process which is known as the "gun show loophole." So it just really is a stark reminder of for how many years this has been such an issue. And the Biden administration says this is a step forward. Alba then made a couple of appearances on Hallie Jackson's show on NBCNOW and made similar claims about the Columbine attackers. About 5:32 p.m. Eastern, she asserted: And when you look at the two shooters in that case, they were able to purchase weapons because of the so-called "gun show loophole," and that means that even if maybe they went to try to get those guns from a sporting goods store or from a retailer, and maybe they would have been stopped there because they would have had to undergo a background check, then they were still able to go and get them from an unauthorized retailer which right now really is a sort of shadow market that exists online. It exists at these sort of flea markets. It exists at these sort of gun shows.     But, in fact, the two Columbine gunmen acquired their guns through circumstances that were already illegal. Both the individuals who supplied them with firearms knew that the gunmen were underage and intentionally bought the firearms for them, which meant it was an illegal straw purchase. Mark Manes was sentenced to six years in prison while Robyn Anderson, who provided two guns through an illegal straw purchase at a gun show, was not charged by prosecutors after she cooperated in the investigation. Transcripts are below. Click "expand" to read: MSNBC's Chris Jansing Reports April 11, 2024 2:05 p.m. Eastern CHRIS JANSING: Now to Washington where the White House just approved the biggest expansion of gun background checks in decades. NBC's White House correspondent Monica Alba is following this for us. Monica, this is intended -- this rule -- to fill a loophole. Tell us about that. MONICA ALBA, NBC WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Exactly, Chris. This is known as the so-called "gun show loophole." So while some retailers and stores that sell arms do have to do background checks, there is really this market for people who can sell guns out of their home or online who don't have to meet those requirements. So this new rule put in effect by the Biden administration which would start in about a month or so would effectively force anyone who is doing that to conduct a background check. And, Chris, we know all too well there are horrible stories about shooters who maybe were denied the ability to purchase a gun at a sporting goods store, but then they were able to go online and buy one because it was an unauthorized retailer. So this is really the Biden White House trying to curb that, and it's something that specifically became a huge movement and moment for the White House to try to accomplish after the horrific school shooting in Uvalde. So this was something that the President vowed to do. And remember that when they were able to pass the bipartisan gun safety law that went into effect in 2022, this was a part of it. They said it's going to take some time to actually make this rule effective so that we can see now what's going to start to happen in the coming weeks. Now, it's possible this could face some legal challenges, but the administration believes that they can cite the 2022 law as a reason to uphold it. And, again, Chris, we're talking about just next week it's going to be the 25th anniversary of the Columbine shooting, and those shooters were able to get those guns, again, through this unauthorized process which is known as the "gun show loophole." So it just really is a stark reminder of for how many years this has been such an issue. And the Biden administration says this is a step forward. It's something that they did pledge to do, but that they would like to do a lot more when it comes to gun violence prevention. And, of course, that's part of the President's pledge to also ban assault weapons which he has not been able to do so far in this Congress.  (...) NBCNOW's Hallie Jackson NOW April 11, 2024 5:31 p.m. Eastern HALLIE JACKSON: Back here to Washington now, and the Biden administration tonight taking steps to make the biggest expansion in decades to federal background checks for buying guns. The Department of Justice submitting this nearly 500-page set of regulations that makes sellers -- that would make sellers run background checks on a potential buyer's criminal and mental health history. Now, here's why it's such a big deal. It could mean the end of a controversial so-called the "gun show loophole" which basically lets unlicensed private sellers in some states legally sell guns at gun shows, out of their houses, and through online platforms without putting buyers through the background check system. The new rules come from legislation that Congress passed back in June 2022 after the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, where 21 people were killed. Just this year -- just this year, rather, we've already seen more than 100 mass shootings -- each year before that, hundreds more. Monica Alba is joining us now. Big, big push here for the Biden administration to sort of regulate the so-called shadow market that's been growing fast. Talk us through it. MONICA ALBA, NBC WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Exactly, Hallie, and it's so tragic when you think about mass shootings. The anniversary next week of Columbine is going to be here -- 25 years since that deadly shooting. And when you look at the two shooters in that case, they were able to purchase weapons because of the so-called "gun show loophole," and that means that even if maybe they went to try to get those guns from a sporting goods store or from a retailer, and maybe they would have been stopped there because they would have had to undergo a background check, then they were still able to go and get them from an unauthorized retailer which right now really is a sort of shadow market that exists online. It exists at these sort of flea markets. It exists at these sort of gun shows. So this new rule which takes effect in about a month from now from the Biden administration would effectively tell these thousands or so who  are selling these kinds of firearms that you do have to be federally licensed, and you do have to conduct background checks on anybody who is attempting to purchase these kinds of weapons. Now, this did come directly from the 2022 bipartisan gun safety law that the President was able to put into action, but he needed the DOJ to actually work on this rule specifically, but it was a major priority, and they feel like this will help. They do feel like there have been cases where specifically people have been denied the purchase of weapons in background checks, so if they can expand that to create a wider net, that that will all be incredibly helpful here.

Democrats Move to Strip Trump of Secret Service Protection

Democrats want Trump dead.

House Democrats on Friday moved to strip President Trump of his Secret Service protection if he is convicted.

Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson introduced a resolution that would terminate Trump’s Secret Service protection. The legislation dubbed the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act would apply to all Secret Service protectees convicted and sentenced under felony charges.

“The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act would terminate Secret Service protection for individuals who otherwise qualify for it upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State felony,” the announcement said.

“It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment —and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them,” Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson said according to the Washington Times.

“Obvious subtext here is that removing USSS would make it easier for someone to kill Trump, which is arguably the goal of Thompson’s bill, H.R. 8081,” Byron York said.

Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson ran the January 6 committee, which mixed elements of show trial and reality series. Focused solely on Trump, of course. Now, Thompson wants to take away Trump's Secret Service protection if Trump is convicted on any of the 88 felony charges…

President Trump is currently on trial in Manhattan for Alvin Bragg’s ‘hush money’ case.

Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump on more than 40 federal felony charges.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted Trump on RICO charges.

WATCH: Brave West Virginia School Girls Refuse to Compete Against Transgender (Bio Male) Competitor at Track and Field Meet, Sacrificing Potential Glory to Stand for Fairness

Credit: Outkick.com

West Virginia middle school girls on Thursday took a bold stand. They refused to compete against a biological male in a major track and field event just two days after the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked a law that mandated competing in the category that matches biological sex.

As previously reported by the Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald, the federal appeals court claimed the law violated Title IX, the federal civil rights law that is supposed to protect female sports. The ruling was 2-1 and only applies to 13-year-old student Becky Pepper-Jackson, who supposedly began “transitioning” in third grade.

Outkick.com revealed that five teenage girls “stepped out” during a track and field meet at the 2024 Harrison County Middle School Championships on Thursday afternoon at Liberty High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to protest the inclusion of Pepper-Johnson. In doing so, they forfeited potential glory in exchange for fairness and justice.

Seven schools were at the meet: Bridgeport, Heritage Christian, Notre Dame, South Harrison, Lincoln, Mountaineer (Clarksburg), and Washington Irving. Pepper-Johnson competes for the Bridgeport Middle School girls’ track & field team in Bridgeport, West Virginia, specifically shot put and discus throwing.

The protesting girls compete for Lincoln.

In the video below, the five Lincoln girls’ team members step in and then step out to object to Pepper-Johnson’s inclusion during the shot put contest. They then did the same for the discus event.

Pepper-Johnson won the shot put event in no small part due to the protest according to to Outkick.com.

Former NCAA champion swimmer and women’s’ rights advocate Riley Gaines shared her thoughts on X following the girls’ bold stand.

It’s a sad day when the middle school girls have to be the adults in the room. Conceding your event is so much easier said than done, but these girls have the tenacity and ability to stand their ground.

I couldn’t be more proud of their bravery and willingness to show their raw emotion. Girls and women have had enough.

If more individuals had a fraction of these girls’ bravery, the woke LGBTQ agenda would be on life support. But we live in a world full of cowards.

Woman on Trump Jury Breaks Down in Tears After Revealing Connection to Michael Cohen

Friday marked day four of Trump’s ‘hush money’ trial in New York City.

The day took a dramatic turn when a far-left protestor set himself on fire outside of the courthouse.

12 jurors were selected and five more alternate jurors were seated.

One prospective juror broke down in tears after revealing her connection to Trump’s former lawyer and convicted perjurer Michael Cohen and former NJ governor Chris Christie.

“I feel so nervous and anxious right now,” the juror said as she began to cry.

“I don’t want to waste the court’s time,” she said. “I thought I could do this. This is so much more stressful than I thought it was going to be.”

The judge excused the juror.

Fox News reported:

A potential juror who said she had connections to both former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen has been excused.

The woman said her father is a lifelong friend of Christie, who ran against former President Trump in the 2016 and 2024 Republican primaries, and that she works at the same company as Cohen’s son, although they’ve never crossed paths. The juror said she initially thought she could remain impartial but realized she could not.

The judge called her to the bench. After a brief exchange, she was excused.

‘She Ought to Resign’: Hawley Targets Biden Cabinet Official Amid Stock Scandal

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) called for Biden administration Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to resign following a testy Senate hearing.  During the April 17 edition of Fox News’s Hannity, Hawley told host Sean Hannity, that Granholm lied to Congress and cannot be trusted to regulate American energy. “She did lie to Congress, what she said Sean, is that she sold all of her shares, that she didn't own any stock in companies she regulates — not true,” Hawley told Hannity, after being asked about Granholm’s stock scandal. “She later then… came back and said, ‘Oops, oops, I made a mistake I owned a bunch of stock, in a bunch of companies including Ford,’ who the Energy Department obviously regulates and oversees,” Hawley stated.  Expanding on his remarks, Hawley added: “And she now expects us to buy that. Listen, it is a fact, Sean, an independent watchdog has found that she violated the law nine separate times and yet here she is still running the Energy Department, still trading stocks.”  Hawley went on to call for her resignation, exclaiming, “I don't believe a word she says, she ought to resign. It is a disgrace that she is sitting there making money on the stock market off companies that she regulates when she’s supposed to be making energy safe and cheap for the American people.”  During the April 16 hearing when Hawley confronted Granholm, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) questioned Granholm on whether the Biden administration supports the radical goal of reaching “net zero,” or drastically reducing carbon emissions. American energy, transportation, agriculture and construction depend heavily on fossil fuels such as oil and coal and fossil fuel products such as plastic and artificial fertilizer. Lee also drew an admission from Granholm that the Biden Administration is anti-energy. When Lee asked her if the Biden administration supports making the country net-zero, Granholm admitted that the Biden administration supports a transition to net-zero. Days later, Granholm crowed in a post on X about a 20-state project to “accelerate America’s net-zero transition by 2050.”  Lee also grilled Granholm on the absurdity of running away from cheap sources of energy like coal, while energy demand is rapidly increasing. After mentioning how developments such as new data centers lead to rising demand, Lee said, “Demand is soaring and it’s soaring at the same time when the premature retirement of coal-fired power generation units is happening. And it's happening without replacement dispatchable generation capabilities.” [SEE MORE: Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm Dodges Question] Conservatives are under attack! Contact ABC News at 818-460-7477, CBS News at 212-975-3247 and NBC News at 212-664-6192 and demand they hold Biden and his cronies accountable for attempting to restrict fossil fuel production and Americans’ choices.

Student Suspended After Anti-Israel Protest Complains About Facing Consequences for Her Actions

Maryam Iqbal Image: @bluepashminas/X

On Thursday, The Gateway Pundit reported that anti-Israel students were arrested and suspended by Columbia University in New York City for organizing a pro-Hamas occupation on campus grounds.

Among the arrestees from Barnard College, which is connected to Columbia, was Rep. Ilhan Omar’s “angry black girl” daughter, Isra.

Barnard student Maryam Iqbal was also arrested and now seems shocked that there are consequences for her behavior.

Iqbal took to social media to complain that there are real-world consequences for real-world actions.

She wrote on X, “Just got out of jail after Columbia called NYPD to mass arrest 100+ students. I have been suspended and evicted from housing by Barnard. This has only strengthened my commitment to the movement for Palestinian liberation and I promise to continue fighting for divestment.”

She continued, “It’s 2am. I was forced to stand outside the Barnard gates for an entire hour waiting for someone to let me in, while Barnard Public Safety told me they are ‘going above and beyond’ by even considering allowing me into my own room for 15 minutes. I haphazardly packed and have left.”

“Giving us 15 minutes to pack up and leave from our housing is seriously twisted. I am not surprised at all — I am glad administration is finally showing their face to the general student body, because student organizers have known from the start how evil these administrators are.”

At the request of Columbia officials, NYPD engaged to disperse protestors and remove the encampment when the arrests occurred.

The arrests come on the heels of Columbia President Dr. Nemat “Minouche” Shafik’s testimony in front of Wednesday’s House Education and the Workforce Committee hearing.

The hearing was focused on the pervasive antisemitism at the Ivy League school as well as demanding answers to what consequences, if any, Professor Joseph Massad faced after he penned an article praising the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks against Israeli civilians.   Massad praised Hamas militants as “awesome,” “astonishing,” “astounding,” and “incredible.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) issued a statement following Shafik’s testimony:

“My statement on @Columbia University’s failure to combat antisemitism following the inconsistent and unacceptable testimony from their campus leadership: “Today’s hearing of Columbia University president and board members epitomizes the failed leadership on “elite” college campuses to combat antisemitism and protect Jewish students. From the university president’s moral equivocation on antisemitism, to glaringly inconsistent testimony regarding disciplinary action and lack thereof taken against antisemitic students and pro-terrorist faculty, to astonishingly stating that there has been no “anti-Jewish” protests on campus only to then acknowledge that “F– the Jews” & “Death to the Jews” is in-fact anti-Jewish when she was further pressed.

Interestingly, during a break, the witnesses were overheard discussing how well they thought their testimony was going for Columbia. This arrogance is eerily reminiscent to the previous three university presidents who believed walking out of the hearing that their testimony was acceptable. Columbia is in for a reckoning of accountability.

If it takes a member of Congress to force a university president to fire a pro-terrorist, antisemitic faculty chair, then Columbia University leadership is failing Jewish students and its academic mission. No amount of overlawyered, overprepped, and over-consulted testimony is going to cover up for failure to act.”

WILD: ABC’s Moran Blames ‘Gravitational Pull of the Trump Melodrama’ for Self-Immolation

Friday afternoon featured one of the more disturbing incidents one will ever see on live TV as, amid rolling coverage on cable news and streaming platforms of the Trump trial brought by far-left Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg, a man lit himself on fire in the so-called protest space outside the New York City courthouse. On ABC News Live, longtime network correspondent Terry Moran invoked January 6 and repeatedly implied without evidence Trump and “the gravitational pull of the...melodrama” around him drove a disturbed person to harm themselves.     Investigative reporter Olivia Rubin was discussing the breaking news that a full jury had been selected for the trial ahead of Monday’s opening statements when a commotion broke out nearby with the man’s self-immolation. After a shaken Rubin narrated the scene, Moran jumped in and, instead of stopping after coaching her along and reassuring her she was doing great, he put his foot in his mouth: “Let me just ask. It seems then, that the gravitational pull of the Trump melodrama that has gripped the nation since he came down the escalator has now, it appears, resulted in someone coming to that where protesters have gathered and lit himself on fire.” Rubin politely but strongly pushed back on the veteran correspondent: “Well, we’ll have to see exactly what, you know, it ends up being. I think we all have been in scenarios where happens. Information unfolds later and it’s not exactly what we thought first. But certainly, there appears to have been some sort of demonstration...just outside of the courthouse.” Rubin then continued to narrate the scene as the fire was extinguished and the man was placed on a stretcher. A few minutes later, Moran complimented Rubin for the “real smart caution” and acknowledged “[t]hat’s a big courthouse” with “a lot of cases going on.” Just like before, Moran could have stopped there and stuck to what was known. Alas, Moran couldn’t help himself and chalked this up to possibly an example of how “the Trump era” caused “feelings” to run “very, very high right across the political spectrum”.     He even invoked the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021: Political violence has resulted from those high feelings, obviously, at the United States Capitol most — most intensely. But, as Olivia says, we don’t know right now and having covered a lot of trials, a lot of courthouses, it — there is a tremendous amount of misery that goes through the courthouse as human misery, people having the worst day of their lives, the worst experience of their lives, murder trials, people going bankrupt, divorce, child, all kinds of things that can send people into the depths of anguish. We don’t know why this man set himself on fire, but there it was in that park, once again, where the protests have been occurring. Protests we can expect continue. It’s an awful situation. Moran couldn’t stop falling on his face. Yet again, he correctly said “caution is fully justified” about what led this person to take this sad step and “there have been a lot of people on the streets who have mental issues,” but tripled down on the blame-Trump route. Along with arguing Trump coming “down that escalator in 2015 to announce his presidential campaign” had “changed American politics, raised it to a pitch of intensity,” Moran fretted “the — the style, the rhetoric, and the policies that — that he proposed is so different, so inspiring to some, so infuriating to others, that we are now as polarized the country as we ever have been.”     “And the emotions around politics are ratcheted up to something that we haven’t seen at least since the 1960s in this country, where there was, you know, a good deal of unrest and turmoil,” he added. Eventually, he conceded that what we do know was “something awful has happened, something truly horrific and one has to — one has to have to pray for that for the person who is drawn to that extreme and has done that”. To see the relevant transcript from April 19, click “expand.” ABC News Live April 19, 2024 1:41 p.m. Eastern TERRY MORAN: Let me just ask. It seems then, that the gravitational pull of the Trump melodrama that has gripped the nation since he came down the escalator has now, it appears, resulted in someone coming to that where protesters have gathered and lit himself on fire. OLIVIA RUBIN: Well, we’ll have to see exactly what, you know, it ends up being. I think we all have been in scenarios where happens. Information unfolds later and it’s not exactly what we thought first. But certainly there appears to have been some sort of demonstration, potentially, just outside of the courthouse, if it’s unrelated, potentially, they’re bringing out a stretcher now that they have and they are lifting the man who is severely burned, Terry, and putting him onto the stretcher. They are bundling the ropes around him and it does seem like all of the fire is out now. I can’t see any flames and we could see the flames from where we were standing before and they are carrying him out on stretcher. (....) 1:42 p.m. Eastern MORAN: Olivia offering, a real smart caution. That’s a big courthouse. A lot of cases going on in there. Obviously, in our justice system, there are plenty of issues and plenty of personal issues that people can get caught up in the justice system, that can — that can break them. And so, we don’t know that this incident police now apparently from our Aaron Katersky that a man lit himself on fire in the courthouse — just outside the courthouse where the trial of Donald Trump is going in the square with protesters, pro-Trump anti-Trump have been gathering. So, that is a ground that has seen some protest activity. But this — this incident, a man lighting himself on fire in front of that courthouse. Now, obviously, the Trump era has had feelings running very, very high right across the political spectrum. Political violence has resulted from those high feelings, obviously, at the United States Capitol most — most intensely. (....) 1:47 p.m. Eastern MORAN: Alright, once again, that — that caution is fully justified, Aaron. That — that whatever we it may be, we don’t know yet. And courthouses and that one in particular, as you say there, there have been a lot people on the streets who have mental issues and gather there sometimes and there are a lot of things that happen in courthouses that can stress people to the point of breakdown. We don’t know what is going on, except that, as Olivia Rubin has pointed out, there was a man taken away in a stretcher, badly burned. (....) 1:50 p.m. Eastern MORAN: But the Trump era, which is what we have been living in since he came down that escalator in 2015 to announce his presidential campaign and changed American politics, raised it to a pitch of intensity, the — the style, the rhetoric, and the policies that — that he proposed is so different, so inspiring to some, so infuriating to others, that we are now as polarized the country as we ever have been. And the emotions around politics are ratcheted up to something that we haven’t seen at least since the 1960s in this country, where there was, you know, a good deal of unrest and turmoil. But once again, just to underline, it does seem, from Olivia’s reporting, from what we have as well, that a man has set himself on fire in the park outside the courthouse where the hush money criminal trial of Donald Trump has been underway. The completed jury selection today and we don’t know if it’s this incident, this man setting himself fire is related to what was going on in the — in the courtroom where Donald Trump was sitting, watching the completion of jury selection or if this is someone with other issues — either in the courts or just in life — but clearly something awful has happened, something truly horrific and one has to — one has to have to pray for that for the person who is drawn to that extreme and has done that and is taken away. Police were on and very quickly put it and put the fire out on him. As Olivia saw and reported, and he was taken away in an ambulance to a hospital where he will get care.

‘The EU Leadership Has Got to Go’: Hungarian PM Orbán Kicks off Campaign for European Elections With a Call to ‘Occupy Brussels’

Europe is reeling in the run-up to the European Parliament elections that are set to take place on June 6-9.

Polls all over the old continent predict a huge advance for the right-wing, nationalist and populist forces – leaving the liberal-Globalist regimes in a state of near-panic, trying to find ways to rig the vote.

Conservative champion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán today (19) painted a grim picture of a continent teetering on the edge of armed conflict if the present European leadership retains power.

In a speech opening his party’s campaign for the EU elections, Orbán called for a ‘changing of the guard’ among the bloc’s leaders.

He spoke to members of his Fidesz party at a closed-door event in Hungary’s capital Budapest.

He torched the EU leadership, that he called ‘an oppressive force’ that had made its member countries active participants in the war in Ukraine.

Read: Hungary’s Orbán Calls the European Union a ‘Bad Contemporary Parody’ of the Soviet Union

Associated Press reported:

“’They see the war as their own war, and they fight it as if it’s their own war’, Orbán said of EU leaders. No EU country has engaged its soldiers in the war in Ukraine.

‘The leadership in Brussels has to go’, Orbán said. ‘It does not deserve another chance. There must be change in Brussels’.”

The long-serving Hungarian PM faces challenges as the recent resignations of senior Hungarian officials after corruption scandals, and an underperforming economy.

Billions or Euros in funding have been withheld by the EU from Hungary over ‘rule-of-law and corruption concerns’: a.k.a. not bowing down to the Globalist agenda.

“Orbán’s speech, which lasted around 15 minutes, relied heavily on themes he has campaigned on for years: a rejection of immigration, hostility to LGBTQ+ rights and claims that the EU has sought to impose its will on Hungary.

‘We must occupy Brussels, push aside the Brussels bureaucrats and take matters into our own hands’, he said to applause.”

Having ruled Hungary for 14 years, Orbán is critical of governments that supply Ukraine with money and weapons to assist in the war.

He calls these countries ‘pro war’, and portrays his government as the only one in the EU that favors peace.

“If the EU’s current leadership remains, the manifesto reads, ‘Europe will be plunged into war, migration waves will destroy European nations, and gender propaganda will ruin the future of our children’.”

Sen. Rand Paul WARNS Trump: “Stop Supporting Speaker Johnson” | Beyond the Headlines

Given recent events and Speaker Mike Johnson’s reaction to these events, some commentators have pointed out that he is no better than Kevin McCarthy — former speaker of the house who was ousted in a historic motion to vacate. Speaker Johnson has repeatedly prioritized the safety and well-being of foreign countries over America, and now Senator Rand Paul is WARNING Trump to stop supporting Johnson before he loses support over it. Would you support Trump less if he backs Johnson?

Kansas City Police Under Scrutiny for Releasing an Alleged Child Predator Despite Admission of Possessing Child Pornography on Phone (VIDEO)

Screenshot: Alex Rosen/X

Kansas City Police Department in Missouri is facing intense public scrutiny following a viral video, posted by independent journalist Alex Rosen, showing officers releasing a man after he allegedly admitted to possessing child pornography on his phone.

In the video, Rosen confronts the situation with visible frustration as he narrates the unfolding event.

He claimed that the Kansas City Police allowed a sexual predator, who is currently on parole for child pornography charges, to walk free even after the individual admitted to possessing illicit content on his phone. The male officer involved in the incident did not identify himself.

Rosen is overheard in the video expressing disbelief: “Kansas City Police is letting this sex offender go because they said they can’t take his phone, even though he admitted to having child pornography on it. They’re just going to let him go.”

A female officer accused Rosen of sensationalizing the incident for social media likes.

“Yeah, it’s all about likes. Definitely has nothing to do with you guys doing your fucking job when it’s regarding a literal child molester,” Rosen wrote on Twitter.

“At the end they finally got the phone, only because he willingly gave it up. We’re not going to let you forget that you originally weren’t even going to seize the phone. You changed your tune when I started making a scene. Better believe we’re requesting all those body/dash cams too,” Rosen wrote.

Following the public outcry, Rosen updated his followers, indicating that the Kansas City Police had reached out to him to collect the evidence.

Former Fox Corp journalist Breanna Morello reached out to the Kansas City Police Department for an official statement regarding the incident. The department’s response acknowledged the ongoing investigation:

“…Officers on scene received information of possible sexually explicit content involving minors on a cellphone.

Officers alerted detectives in our Special Investigations Division – Vice Unit who advised officers how to proceed.

Officers recovered the cellphone for investigation and examination by detectives.
This is an active investigation and detectives will submit the results and evidence to the prosecutors office for consideration of applicable charges.

The remainder of your questions would be part of the on-going investigation which would not be publicly available information per Missouri Sunshine Law 610.100.”

“Weak People Become a Host for Evil – That’s Exactly What’s Happening to Mike Johnson” – Tucker Carlson Explains the Metamorphosis of Mike Johnson with Joe Rogan (VIDEO)

Tucker Carlson went on with Joe Rogan on Friday in what promises to be a hugely popular episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

During their conversation they spoke about evil and Speaker Mike Johnson’s name was brought up.

Tucker Carlson: Here’s the illusion that we fall for time and again. We imagine that evil comes fully advertised as such. Like, evil people look like Anton Levet. Horns. Yeah. You know what I mean?

Joe Rogan: Black cloak.

Tucker Carlson: Exactly.

Joe Rogan: Sickel.

Tucker Carlson: Evil is an independent force that exists outside of people, that acts upon people. I really believe that. I’ve experienced it a lot, and it’s obvious.

What vessel do they choose? The weak. It’s weak men and women who are instruments of evil. The weaker the leader, the more evil that leader will be. Unfortunately, we’ve reached a time in American history where every leader is either a woman or a weak man, pretty much. I’m sorry to say it, that’s just true. The weaker the leader, that’s what Mike Johnson – Everyone’s like, Oh, Mike Johnson, such a nice guy. Well, I know Mike Johnson, and he’s a perfectly nice guy to the extent that he’s polite and he seems meek and restrained, and he’s not saying motherf*cker ever. You know what I mean? He’s got very buttoned-down affect, but he’s a weak man, and that’s the man you should be afraid of.

The people who you shouldn’t be less afraid of are the headstrong, loud, don’t care what anybody thinks. Yeah, those guys will go off track, but they’re probably not going to abet genocide or blow up the world in a nuclear exchange because they may be obnoxious, but they knew who they are.

Weak people just become a host for evil, an open, empty building that evil occupies, possesses even. That’s exactly what’s happening to Mike Johnson. It’s absolutely crazy what Mike Johnson is doing. But it’s not because he’s evil, it’s because he’s weak and therefore susceptible to evil. It’s a meaningful distinction that I have noticed.

Typical projection.

“Putin does what [Trump] would like to do,” Hillary Clinton said to corrupt left-wing lawyer Marc Elias on his “Democracy Docket” podcast. “Kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists into exile, rule without any check or balance. That’s what Trump really wants. And so we have to be very conscious of how he sees the world because in that world, he only sees strong men leaders. He sees Putin. He sees Xi. He sees Kim Jong Un in North Korea. Those are the people he is modeling himself after and we’ve been down this road in our, you know, world history. We sure don’t want to go down that again.”

“You have been right about everything. I feel like you were cheated. I think that your election was not on the up and up because Russia got involved… and Donald Trump, and all that,” Marc Elias.

Hillary replied, “If he ever gets back near the White House again, it will be like having a dictator. I don’t say that lightly. Go back and read Project 2025. They’re going to fire everybody. The person in the government who knows about the next pandemic? Get rid of him.”

Morning Joe Hails Colleges Cracking Down on Pro-Hamas Protesters!

On Thursday, Morning Joe treated us to surprising praise for Speaker Mike Johnson -- albeit regarding his support for aid to Ukraine, something dear to Joe Scarborough. Friday brought another surprise: tough talk about the pro-Hamas protesters wreaking havoc on American campuses, and praise for university administrators taking action to curb their excesses. Thus, Joe Scarborough condemned students occupying the offices of college presidents, even suggesting that any president who tolerates that should "seek employment elsewhere." At one point, Scarborough even called protesters who blocked graduation speakers "brats." Willie Geist spoke positively about the chancellor of his alma mater, Vanderbilt, who actually expelled three students who had occupied his office. New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters has written an article on the matter: "Colleges Warn Student Demonstrators: Enough." As a panelist on Morning Joe, he criticized protesters at the University of Michigan, his alma mater, who had marred what was supposed to be a joyful event for outstanding students. He also acknowledged that college administrators have been slow in dealing with these problems. He cited the Trump years during which speakers who were conservative, or affiliated with Trump, were often canceled or shouted down.  President Biden is reported to be "obsessed" with Morning Joe, so much so that he has made Scarborough a frequent phone buddy and informal adviser. But if Biden tuned in on Friday, he couldn't have been thrilled with the panel's take. Biden's already under pressure from the Pro-Hamas/River to the Sea wing of the Democrat party.  And now even the liberal media is starting to call for crackdowns on those protesters? Oy vey! Here's the transcript. MSNBC Morning Joe  4/19/24 6:47 am EDT WILLIE GEIST: So Joe, yesterday, you saw another case, several in recent weeks, where heads of school, chancellors, administrators, have said, there is a line now between free speech. We've allowed you to protest, we've allowed you to go to certain places. We've opened dialogues on our  campus, given you a place to have these debates.  But when it comes to harassment of Jewish students, when it comes to interrupting the operations of, say, a class, or a speaker, or people moving through the campus, we're now saying, you can't do that anymore. JOE SCARBOROUGH: Yeah, exactly. Whether you're talking about the, the interruption of the functioning of the Golden Gate Bridge, or the normal functioning of Columbia University, you know, it's, it's too much. It's too much. You can have free speech without, again, stopping the normal functioning of these institutions.  . . .  And so, I'm glad the president of Columbia University has stepped forward. You know, some people may call allowing students to take over president's offices at Columbia in the 1960s a storied tradition. I don't. I call that anarchy. Like, if you're a president of the university and you're letting students take over your office, maybe, maybe you should seek employment elsewhere.  Because I guarantee you there are a lot of parents that send their children to schools who don't want students running the place. They'd like grown-ups to run the place. And it looks like that's what's happening in Columbia. GEIST: Yeah. I'll speak for -- you know, I went to Vanderbilt University. They've had a lot of this on their campus in recent weeks. And a group of students a couple of weeks ago pushed their way into Kirkland Hall, where the chancellor's office is. They pushed aside an unarmed security guard, they sat there for 20 hours doing exactly what you're talking about, Joe. And Chancellor Diermeier, who runs Vanderbilt, ultimately said, okay, you're all suspended. And then one by one, reviewed their cases and expelled three of the students. SCARBOROUGH: Good! GEIST: And said, we've given you a place to have free speech. We've given you a place to protest. We've given you a place to voice your opinion. We've created symposiums where both sides of this discussion can be heard. You didn't participate in that, but you broke into our office and sat here. So now, three of you are no longer students of Vanderbilt University. And that was one of the first schools, actually, to do that, and I think you've seen more if it now since then.  Jeremy Peters, the national reporter for the New York Times is writing about this. He's got new reporting on how those administrators are now responding to a surge in anti-Israel protests on campus. Also with us, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, Jonathan Greenblatt. His group is out with new data on antisemitic incidents in the United States in the last year. Good morning to you both. Jeremy, I'll begin with you. It does seem to have been, just within the last couple of weeks even, a bit of a change in the approach that some, not all, that some leaders of campuses, of universities across the country, are taking with these protests. What did you find in your reporting? JEREMY PETERS: That's exactly right, Willie. Schools have had enough. And Vanderbilt issued what are believed to be the first expulsions of student protesters related to demonstrations stemming from the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel. And from Vanderbilt to NYU, to Columbia, to the University of Michigan, to Pomona, schools are saying, basically, look, this is not about free speech. You have a right to speak up. You have a right to demonstrate. What you don't have is a right to harass and disrupt. And that's what's really been impeding these universities core mission, which is to educate your students. And you can't have an environment that is constantly disrupted, where students are subject to harassment, where they're spit upon, where they're yelled at.  Where graduation ceremonies, or like the incident I wrote about at my alma mater, the University of Michigan, this honors convocation that was supposed to be this kind of lovely, celebratory moment where kids who were the highest-achieving students are honored. Their parents and grandparents are there. And shat happened? It got disrupted and had to be shut down early because of pro-Palestinian protesters were standing up and shouting down speakers and unfurling banners. And this is something I think universities have been slow to acknowledge. I mean, remember during the Trump years, universities really became this, this cauldron of protest activity, where this kind of overly censorious culture developed. Where if there was a speaker who was conservative, or aligned with Trump, instead of letting that person speak, a lot of times the speach would be canceled out of fear for the safety of that speaker. Or people would interrupt the speaker. And now, you know, I think universities are saying, we didn't do enough to rein that in, but now they are. SCARBOROUGH: And, you know, the thing is, that's happened over the past couple of years. But this has been a problem for a long time. I'll just say it, brats who are protesting when, say, Christine Lagarde tries to speak at a graduation, or Condi Rice tries to speak at a graduation, or I think even Christine Todd Whitman one time was canceled from speaking at the graduation!  I gotta say, you're either the adult running the campus, or you're the child, that is incapable of controlling students. The students are there to learn. That means IIall the students are there to learn. Not just students who decide this one issue is the most important issue to them. And I certainly understand, if Gaza is the most important issue, especially to Palestinian students in America. But it goes well beyond that. You can't shut down an entire campus.Your right to free speech doesn't mean your right to impinge upon everybody else's free speech and their ability to unction in a university setting.

WHO Reports H5N1 Bird Flu Virus Detected in Milk

In a press release on Friday, the World Health Organization reported that the H5N1 bird flu virus had been detected in high concentrations in raw milk from infected mammals.

The report comes a month after the Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed the first human case of H5N1.

During the press briefing in Geneva, Wenqing Zhang, WHO’s head of the global influenza program, said that H5N1 has been detected in raw milk from infected mammals.

Wenqing Zhang, WHO’s head of the global influenza program, stated, “Bird-to-cow, cow-to-cow, transmissions have been registered during these current outbreaks, which suggests cow-to-bird tra that the virus may have found other routes of transition than we previously understood.”

Zhang continued to share that the virus was discovered in “very high virus concentration in raw milk” that was not pasteurized.

Per Barron’s:

The H5N1 bird flu virus strain has been detected in very high concentrations in raw milk from infected animals, the WHO said Friday, though how long the virus can survive in milk is unknown.

Avian influenza A(H5N1) first emerged in 1996 but since 2020, the number of outbreaks in birds has grown exponentially, alongside an increase in the number of infected mammals.

The strain has led to the deaths of tens of millions of poultry, with wild birds and land and marine mammals also infected.

Cows and goats joined the list last month — a surprising development for experts because they were not thought to be susceptible to this type of influenza.

BREAKING: Man Who Set Himself on Fire Identified — Wrote a Manifesto Online Warning of an “Apocalyptic Fascist World Coup” — Calls for Revolution

The man who horrifically set himself ablaze outside of former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial has been identified as 37-year-old Max Azzarello from St. Augustine, Florida, as previously reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Prior to setting himself on fire on Friday afternoon, Azzarello penned an alarming manifesto that he posted online, warning of what he described as an impending “apocalyptic fascist world coup.”

Azzarello made his way into the public park across from the 100 Centre Street courthouse at approximately 1:30 p.m., coinciding with the finalization of the jury in Trump ‘hush money’ trial.

Witnesses say that after removing his jacket, Azzarello doused himself with what is believed to be an alcohol-based cleaning accelerant. Moments later, he was seen sitting down, engulfed in flames.

The shocking scene was captured on video, showing his burnt figure twitching on the ground.

Bystanders and first responders, in a frantic bid to save Azzarello, hurried to extinguish the flames that consumed him for several agonizing minutes.

Laura Loomer, who is in New York to report on Trump’s trial, noted that Azzarello spent the week outside the courthouse displaying a sign that read, “Trump is with Biden and they’re about to fascist coup us.”

According to New York Post, “Just seconds before setting himself on fire, Azzarello had reached into a book bag and retrieved a stack of colorful pamphlets that he then tossed into the air — including some that linked to a Substack page with the heading, “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial.””

The scattered papers at the scene were consistent with content found on his Instagram page,  which remains accessible at the time of this report.

Azzarello uploaded a video to his Instagram earlier this year where he was calling for a revolution.

Interest in physical gold and silver has been skyrocketing. So many Americans are moving retirement accounts to precious metals that some companies have had a hard time keeping up with demand.

Genesis Gold Group a faith-driven precious metals company, has been able to keep up with demand because their executives anticipated the surge even before the collapse of banks in the spring.

It isn’t just individuals who are making moves — central banks have been on a gold-buying spree for months. China and Russia have been moving toward gold and silver. Even U.S. states like Tennessee have made moves to allow their treasury to buy precious metals to back the state’s holdings.

Self-directed IRAs backed by physical precious metals have been the primary focus for Genesis Gold Group from the beginning. They only work with physical gold and silver because it can be stored on the customer’s behalf in a depository.

This isn’t “paper” or “virtual” gold or silver; Genesis Gold Group customers can physically see their precious metals at their convenience. And when it comes time to take a disbursement, they can convert to cash or have their precious metals shipped directly to their homes.

Click here to reach out today through goldbygenesis.com.

While other gold and silver companies have struggled to secure metals for their clients in a timely manner, Genesis Gold Group has leveraged their relationships to seamlessly keep the flow of wealth going into their customers’ depositories. By rolling over any of the various types of retirement accounts their customers currently have, Genesis Gold Group has simplified the process of securing the life’s savings of countless Americans.

Genesis Gold Group was given 5 stars by many reviewers on the Better Business Bureau website. Here is what some of them say:

“Genesis Gold Group has been very helpful to me as a first time customer. They were very patient with me and answered every question I had. The process of moving my funds from my former account to Genesis Gold Group was straightforward and easy. I highly recommend their services.” — Brian B.

Recently, I had two experiences with Genesis Gold Group and both were very easy transactions. My agent was very knowledgeable and informative about the products that I was interested in. I suggest that for anyone looking to move their retirement into tangible materials, Genesis Gold Group is the company to choose.” — Joyce R.

“Genesis Gold Group is a wonderful company to do business with. The staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. They know I’ve had many questions before, during, and even after opening my Self-Directed IRA and everyone has been very kind and open. Start your Gold IRA with Genesis Gold Group without reservation!” — Gerald C.

WashPost Promotes NPR Staffers Loathing Critics of Their 'Legendary' Network

The Washington Post is covering NPR’s Uri Berliner controversy – now that he’s resigned. The front of Thursday’s Style section ran a story by media reporter Elahe Izadi with the usual framing of “conservative activists” vs. “public radio network.” As if this isn’t “right versus left.” This was the online headline: Turmoil at NPR after editor rips network for political bias The public-radio network is being targeted by conservative activists over the essay, which many staffers say is misleading and inaccurate. Izadi and the Post suggested that your critique is self-discrediting if it can be cited by conservatives. On its face, it seemed to confirm the worst suspicions held by NPR’s critics on the right: that the legendary media organization had an ideological, progressive agenda that dictates its journalism. [Imagine that!] The Free Press is an online publication started by journalist Bari Weiss, whose own resignation from the New York Times in 2020 was used by conservative politicians as evidence that the Times stifled certain ideas and ideologies… Izadi’s story was stuffed with NPR reporters and executives huffing that they’re not putting out a slanted left-wing product. They’re an “independent” outlet doing “fact-based reporting.” Disagree with that? It’s a “bad-faith” argument. The liberal bubble is thick. Several prominent NPR journalists countered that impression. “We have strong, heated editorial debates every day to try and get the most appropriate language and nuanced reporting in a landscape that is divisive and difficult to work in as a journalist,” Leila Fadel, host of Morning Edition, told The Post. “Media and free independent press are often under attack for the fact-based reporting that we do.” She called Berliner’s essay “a bad-faith effort” and a “factually inaccurate take on our work that was filled with omissions to back his arguments.” "Errors and omissions" are a constant NPR-employee talking point, as in Steve Inskeep's blazing attack on Substack. Izadi didn’t come to conservative critics for rebuttal – like ask Leila about her puffball interview with Liz Cheney, promoting her claim that the current Republican Party is a "danger to the country." But it grew worse: Ayesha Rascoe went for guilt by association, that any conservative critique of NPR is responsible for encouraging anonymous numbskulls on the internet: No news organization is above reproach, Weekend Edition host Ayesha Rascoe told The Post, but someone should not “be able to tear down an entire organization’s work without any sort of response or context provided, or pushback.” There are many legitimate critiques to make of NPR’s coverage, she added, “but the way this has been done — it’s to invalidate all the work NPR does.” …Rascoe, who, as a Black woman host for NPR, says she’s no stranger to online vitriol, but one message after Berliner’s essay labeled her as a “DEI hire” who has “never read a book in her life.” “What stung about this one was it came on the basis of a supposed colleague’s op-ed,” whose words were “being used as fodder to attack me,” Rascoe said. “And my concern is not about me, but all the younger journalists who don’t have the platform I have and who will be attacked and their integrity questioned simply on the basis of who they are.” Izadi's piece read like a long list of internal NPR complaints without any inkling of what all liberals know: NPR is a left-wing sandbox. It's "public," but it's owned by the Left. Berliner betrayed his colleagues by assailing its "legendary" status.

Navarro Defends Menendez, Blames Wife, Argues ‘Costco Sells Gold Bars’

Faux-conservative ABC News co-host Ana Navarro was back to defending her close friend Democratic Senator Bob Menendez (NJ) from credible allegations of corruption on Friday’s edition of The View. Despite insisting she doesn’t “excuse him,” she was quite busy blaming Menendez’s wife for getting him into the situation that he was in, and seemingly tried to suggest he might have bought the gold bars hidden in his suit pockets at Costco. She also praised Democratic senators for not forcing him out of office. At least Navarro started off by acknowledging she was not going to be operating with honesty and good faith on the issue. “And look, and every time we talk about this I always want to start by saying, I think I'm biased. I try to be objective but I've known Bob Menendez for almost 30 years. I’ve worked with him on countless issues, Cuba, Nicaragua, immigration, Central American free trade,” she admitted. She immediately followed up by going after the credible allegations against him. “This Menendez that I read about here just does not jive, does not square away with the man I've known for all of this time. It's hard for me to understand all of these facts,” she decried. One might argue that she admitted to possibly facilitating some of Menendez’s alleged corruption when she bragged: “I’ve went to him with 100 issues with very rich clients, he never ever did anything like this.”     Throughout the segment, Navarro tried to blame Menendez’s wife and argued that she and his other friends didn’t know who the woman was before he married her: NAVARRO: And I will say this last thing, a lot of his friends, including me, when he saw this case, thought this is not the Bob we know. Who is this woman and how has this happened? I mean, she suddenly showed up like in the middle of COVID saying that she didn't know he was a senator. SARA HAINES: At IHOP. NAVARRO: At an IHOP. “And I did tell you the first time I read about this case, I think this woman -- I think Bob was completely smitten, enamored. He was a lone wolf for a long time. This happened during COVID,” she defended him. Navarro went on to praise Democratic senators for not forcing her friend out of office, citing the “reservoir of goodwill” Menendez had with them: And I think part of the reason that he hasn't been made to resign, that Schumer haven't forced it, his colleagues haven't forced it, is because there is a reservoir of goodwill towards him and respect towards him that there wasn’t toward like a George Santos, for example. And also I think it's because he's up for re-election now this November. And so, it's not like he's got another four years to serve, right? And the case is coming up -- is coming up now. On the flip side, she lashed out at Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D) for daring to demand her friend resign. “The difference with John Fetterman is that John Fetterman is new in the Senate. And so, he probably doesn't have the collegiality and friendship and history with Menendez that most of the others do,” she chided. Near the end of the segment, Navarro inexplicably proclaimed: “I read that Costco sells gold bars and they're sold out.” It was unclear if she was suggesting that Menendez bought the gold bars at Costco or that gold bars were readily available thus it didn’t matter. Costco does not sell the 1-kilo bricks stamped “Swiss Bank Corporation” that Menendez squirreled away. The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: ABC’s The View April 19, 2024 11:03:27 a.m. Eastern (…) ANA NAVARRO: His trial begins in a couple of weeks, I think, in two or three weeks. And look, and every time we talk about this I always want to start by saying, I think I'm biased. I try to be objective but I've known Bob Menendez for almost 30 years. I’ve worked with him on countless issues, Cuba, Nicaragua, immigration, Central American free trade. This Menendez that I read about here just does not jive, does not square away with the man I've known for all of this time. It's hard for me to understand all of these facts. I’ve went to him with 100 issues with very rich clients, he never ever did anything like this. And I will say this, and I don't excuse him, I don't justify him because Bob is one of the smartest people in Congress. It is a low bar but he really is one of the smartest people that I know, that I've worked with Congress. I think there needs to be more regulation of family members lobbying because it's not just Bob Menendez's wife, it's siblings, it's spouses, it's all of this thing. And they do have an advantage that other people don't have and a lot of lobbying firms have them on the firm and they don't even work. They don't even show up. It’s just have the names. The people of New Jersey are going to have a say on this. Bob has not said if he’s running again? JOY BEHAR: Is he running again? NAVARRO: He's not running as a Democrat. He hasn't said if he's running as an independent. And I will say this last thing, a lot of his friends, including me, when he saw this case, thought this is not the Bob we know. Who is this woman and how has this happened? I mean, she suddenly showed up like in the middle of COVID saying that she didn't know he was a senator. SARA HAINES: At IHOP. NAVARRO: At an IHOP. (…) 11:07:06 a.m. Eastern ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: He’d been charged previously and he did get off. HAINES: In 2015. FARAH GRIFFIN: He already had very similar charges that he was able to get by before he ever met the woman, so the fact that similar activity is taking place -- HAINES: She needs to be there too. NAVARRO (interrupting): I’m actually very familiar with that first case. I knew both of them. I knew Dr. Melden because he was always with Bob. And, I mean, Bob’s a guy who's been in my house. I've been at his mom's funeral. I know him very well. And I think part of the reason that he hasn't been made to resign, that Schumer haven't forced it, his colleagues haven't forced it, is because there is a reservoir of goodwill towards him and respect towards him that there wasn’t toward like a George Santos, for example. And also I think it's because he's up for re-election now this November. And so, it's not like he's got another four years to serve, right? And the case is coming up -- is coming up now. This case to me feels different than the first case. And I did tell you the first time I read about this case, I think this woman -- I think Bob was completely smitten, enamored. He was a lone wolf for a long time. This happened during COVID. Again, I don't excuse him. He is a smart guy. He should have known better. He's not something stupid gullible ingenue. SUNNY HOSTIN: The gold bars are a giveaway, right? [Crosstalk] HAINES: First time, shame on you; second time it's shame on me. In 2015, there was a close enough trial. If he’s coming back knowing, “Oh my gosh, I almost got caught” and he is so smart, dabbling in what he is dabbling in is dangerous and almost felt like he feels he was above it. NAVARRO: It seems to me gold bars for a gold digger. FARAH GRIFFIN: There are Democratic senator who’ve called for his resignation. HAINES: Fetterman. FARAH GRIFFIN: Including John Fetterman. So, I think the senator who served multiple times should stand on his own two feet, not blame the woman. NAVARRO: The difference with John Fetterman is that John Fetterman is new in the Senate. And so, he probably doesn't have the collegiality and friendship and history with Menendez that most of the others do. FARAH GRIFFIN: But that often blinds judgment. HAINES: Gold bars and you’re hiding them in your suit pockets and you’re giving your wife a car and they have text messages. I’d say, collegiality aside, you've crossed over. FARAH GRIFFIN: That's where the good old boys club gets in the way. It’s like, “oh, we like him. He’s such a such a nice guy.” Well, if he's committing crimes it doesn't really matter. NAVARRO: Which is why I tell you I feel like I know that I'm biased. I like the guy and I keep hoping against hope there is some reasonable explanation. I hope -- Listen, I hope the truth comes out. You know, I read -- I read that Costco sells gold bars and they're sold out. HOSTIN: Really?! NAVARRO: Yes! HAINES: You can buy gold bars? HOSTIN: I don't know about some gold bars from Costco. (…)

NATO Leaders Making Tracks to Trump

‘Are anticipating he’s going to win’

President Donald Trump has yet to be named the GOP nominee for president for the fall election. And then there’s the campaigning, debates if Democrats allow the “diminished” Joe Biden to participate, and the election.

But a number of NATO leaders believe they know what will happen: they’re making tracks to Trump.

“These leaders are anticipating that Trump’s gonna win,” Kurt Volker, a former ambassador to NATO, told the Washington Examiner.

“And so, they also want to reestablish relationships.” He also said there’s a lot of concern among European leaders about Biden’s failure so far to orchestrate more American support for Ukraine, which is fighting a war against an invading Russia.

The most recent visitor, the report explained, was Polish President Andrzej Duda, who “joined the list of foreign leaders beating a path to Donald Trump’s door this week.”

“It was a friendly meeting in a very nice atmosphere,” Duda explained to media in his home country.

The report noted Trump also described the visitor as a “friend.”

And he said, “We’re behind Poland all the way.”

That was reassuring, the report explained, to European leaders who watch “with alarm” the declining poll numbers for Biden.

The report noted Duda is “at least the third European leader to travel to the United States to visit Trump, following British Foreign Secretary David Cameron — himself a former prime minister — and Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary.”

Biden’s State Department has been trying to downplay the visits, explaining that foreign governments often “engage with the nominees of major parties.”

And “engage” is what a number have sought.

“We see that the functioning of the U.S. has been paralyzed towards Ukraine, and Trump has influence even if he’s not in power — even if he’s under criminal investigation — he’s influencing what is happening or not happening,” the report explained was the conclusion of a “senior European official.”

The dilemma facing European leaders is their hope that Biden will be able to get something done regarding Ukraine, but their impression that they will need to fall into line behind Trump in the event he is elected.

Ex-NATO strategist Stefanie Babst told the Examiner, “They will try not to upset the Biden administration too much, but their greater concern is that they haven’t even had a chance to speak to Trump to get a personal impression of what the guy is really up to. To me, [the visits are] a sign of despair.”

Babst noted that what Biden has “decided” in dealing with Ukraine and Russia is “not working.”

American-Born Russell ‘Texas’ Bentley Reportedly Dead – Pro-Russia Fighter Turned War Correspondent Vanished in Donetsk 11 Days Ago

American-born Sputnik correspondent Russell ‘Texas’ Bentley, died at the age of 64, his wife Lyudmila confirmed to the Russian news site.

Bentley went missing in Donetsk city on April 8, following a Ukrainian artillery attack on the city’s Petrovsky district. Four days later, the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs put him on a missing persons list.

Bentley has been covering Russia’s special military operation zone as a war correspondent.

‘Texas’ joined the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) militia as a fighter in 2014, resisting the Ukrainian forces and Nazi Azov militants, having later become a war correspondent.

While Russian sources (and authorities) have yet to confirm the cause of his reported death, he is feared to have been the latest journalist targeted for retaliation by Kiev’s services, like Daria Dugina, killed in a car bomb, Vladlem Tatarsky, killed with a ‘gift bomb’, or the American Gonzalo Lira, who died in a Ukrainian cell after reportedly being denied medical attention.

After retiring from military service in Donbas, Bentleу turned to humanitarian aid work and journalism. He converted to Russian Orthodox Christianity and, in 2021, received Russian citizenship.

Bentley began contributing to Sputnik International in October 2023, publishing numerous video reports and columns that provided Westerners with an inside look at life in the Donbas.

Eleven days ago, he disappeared in mysterious circumstances in Donetsk city.

Mash in Donbas reported (translated from the Russian):

“The police are looking for an American who disappeared after shelling in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.

On Monday, Russell Bentley and his wife came to the executive committee to re-register documents. While we were standing in line, we saw a huge column of smoke after the arrival. Russell rushed to help the locals and soon stopped communicating. According to the wife, at that moment she became worried and went to the place herself.

‘There I found only my husband’s car, in which were his baseball cap, glasses and a broken phone. The investigator has already opened a missing person case – they are looking for Bentley. If you saw him or know anything, be sure to notify the police’.”

Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Sputnik’s parent media group Rossiya Segodnya – and herself targeted by Ukrainian services – expressed her condolences:

“Russell Bentley, also known as Texas, a real American from Texas, died in Donetsk. He fought there for our people. Collaborated with our Sputnik. Terrible. R.I.P….”

Almost a Billion Voters in India Will Participate in the Largest Elections in Human History, a Test of Strength for PM Modi, Who Seeks a Third Term

Today (19), Millions of Indians began voting – and that’s a literal big deal. Indian elections are widely regarded as the largest in the world, both in terms of the number of voters and also the scale of the electoral process.

It involves nearly a billion voters, making it the largest democratic exercise in human history, and taking place over a period of six weeks, across different phases.

The 2024 general election in India is in many ways a referendum on Narendra Modi, a populist prime minister who presided over the renaissance of Hindu nationalist politics, and is seeking a rare third term as the country’s leader.

More than 10% of the world’s population will elect 543 members to the lower house of Parliament to serve five-year terms.

Associated Press reported:

“This election is seen as one of the most consequential in India’s history and will test the limits of Modi’s political dominance. If Modi wins, he’ll be only the second Indian leader to retain power for a third term, after Jawaharlal Nehru, the country’s first prime minister.

Most polls predict a win for Modi and his Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP], who are up against a broad opposition alliance led by the Indian National Congress and powerful regional parties.”

The BJP controls the majority of India’s Hindi-speaking northern and central regions, and is now trying to gain a larger foothold in the east and south.

“The election comes after a decade of Modi’s leadership, during which the BJP has consolidated power through a combination of Hindu-first politics and economic development.

Modi has ratcheted up Hindu nationalist rhetoric on the campaign trail, and has sought to present himself as a global leader. His ministers tout him as the steward of a surging India, while his supporters celebrate his campaign promise to make India a developed nation by 2047, when it marks 100 years of independence.”

India’s economy is presently one of the world’s fastest-growing, but many of its people still live in poverty.

The opposition alliance want to reach voters on issues like unemployment, inflation, corruption and low agricultural prices.

“The opposition, and critics, also warn that Modi has turned increasingly illiberal. They accuse Modi of using tax authorities and the police to harass the opposition, and fear that a third term could undermine India’s democracy. His Hindu nationalist politics, they argue, has bred intolerance and threatens the country’s secular roots.”

Modi is very popular among India’s 1.4 billion people, and is targeting a two-thirds majority for his BJP party this time, hoping for a landslide win powered by its popular welfare programs.

The construction of the temple to Ram on the site of a demolished mosque (that has been erected over a Hindu temple in the first place) fanned the flames of a reborn Hindu nationalism, resonating with supporters who hail him as the champion of the Hindu majority.

Third Republican Announces Support for Ousting Johnson as House Speaker

A third House Republican has announced he will co-sponsor a motion to vacate introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., that, if passed, would end Mike Johnson’s tenure as House speaker after fewer than six months.

If all 213 House Democrats vote in support of the motion to remove Johnson, R-La., as speaker, only three Republicans would need to cross over for the motion to carry, 216-215, once Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., resigns, as he plans to do imminently.

Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., announced that he would join the Georgia Republican’s effort to oust Johnson, saying in a written statement:

[R]ather than spending the resources to secure our southern border and combating the invasion of 11 million illegals and despite repeated promises there would be no additional money going to Ukraine without first securing our border, the United States House of Representatives, under the direction of the speaker, is on the verge of sending another $61 billion to further draw America into an endless and purposeless war in Ukraine.

“Our border cannot be an afterthought,” Gosar added. “We need a speaker who puts America first rather than bending to the reckless demands of the warmongers, neocons, and the military-industrial complex making billions from a costly and endless war half a world away.”

My statement joining .@RepThomasMassie on cosponsoring .@RepMTG Motion to Vacate:

Gosar Statement on Supporting the Motion to Vacate the Speaker

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statement after cosponsoring H.Res. 1103,…

— Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS (@RepGosar) April 19, 2024

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., announced earlier this week he supports Greene’s motion to vacate.

Gosar’s decision comes as Johnson relied on House Democrats’ votes to pass a series of foreign aid bills opposed by many conservative Republicans.

Johnson brushed off the threat of Greene’s motion to vacate Wednesday, saying: “I am not resigning. And it is in my view an absurd notion that someone would bring a vacate motion when we are simply here trying to do our jobs.”

Johnson became House speaker in October after the ouster from the post of his predecessor, former Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., by a motion to vacate. The Kentucky Republican has faced increasing pressure from conservatives in the House.

Johnson continues to have the support of former President Donald Trump, who said Johnson is doing a “very good job” when the two appeared together April 12 at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

“I stand with the speaker,” Trump said.

Johnson was elected House speaker with the votes of 220 Republicans. His predecessor, McCarthy, was removed as speaker after eight Republicans and all Democrats voted against him.

Since Johnson became speaker, McCarthy and Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., have resigned and left Congress. Former Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., was expelled in a House vote, and Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., plans to resign soon.

When Gallagher leaves office, that will leave 217 Republicans and 213 Democrats, a razor-thin Republican majority.

Chaos at Columbia: Anti-Zionist NYC College Protest Gets Physical Last Night, “Arrest that Zionist piece of s***” (VIDEO)

Protests at Columbia University in New York City got heated Thursday night as protesters demanded charges be dropped against pro-Palestinian activists who were shutting down the college’s buildings to protest Israel’s war in Gaza. The protesters were upset that the police arrested those making a ‘tent city’ inside the college’s buildings and on campus grounds. 108 were arrested after three days of protests. The protesters wanted those arrested released without charges.

⚠Multiple Pro Palestine protesters at Columbia University were arrested yesterday. The college is contemplating some people being suspended due to the large protest that went well into the night. Please say over 19 people were arrested.👎pic.twitter.com/YQIbwgeLWI

— Todd Paron🇺🇸🇬🇷🎧👽 (@tparon) April 18, 2024

One Columbia Professor denounced the police.

These protests were spearheaded by a far-left alt-left group called Within Our Lifetime-United for Palestine (WOL). One of those arrested was Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Communist daughter Isra Hirsi, who attends college at Barnard College, also in NYC. Hirsi was suspended by Barnard College yesterday.

https://twitter.com/WOLPalestine/status/1781150169699922201

The protests come in the wake of the Hamas organization’s terrorist attack on Israelis last October 7th, when a reported 1,200 Israeli citizens and soldiers were killed. The escalating violence in response, where Israel invaded the Gaza Strip and pushed out 2 million Palestinians, causing an estimated 50,000 casualties, has caused worldwide condemnation and nearly brought the world into conflict when Iran launched 200 militarized drones at Israel last week.

Protests at the nation’s college campuses have largely been reported as siding with the Palestinians. A leaked call from inside the powerful Jewish group the Anti-Defamation League said that the nation’s Jewish leaders were aware of the political problem of Palestinian influence on college students, and were working with the government to increase censorship, including on social media, to combat the rise in what they described as anti-Jewish and anti-Zionist views.

One pro-Palestinian protester said, “We’re going to turn this city upside down until we’re f****** heard whether you like it or not. I don’t give a f***.”

Arab-Israeli reporter Yoseph Haddad was assaulted at the protest, he was escorted away from the scene by police. Protesters were demanding that Haddad be arrested, chanting, “Arrest that Zionist piece of s***”

Most legal charges against far-left political protesters are dropped by police and friendly prosecutors nationwide, in violation of the Constitutional requirement of equal treatment under law. The Manhattan District Attorney is far-left zealot Alvin Bragg. Bragg’s campaigns have been significantly funded by far-left donors like George Soros. It remains to be seen if these protesters who were arrested will be processed through the criminal justice system now largely in control of sympathetic left-wing ideologues.

Columbia University is the alma mater for left-wing icons like Barack Hussein Obama, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and also Communist spies like Victor Perlo and Harry Dexter White.

EMBARASSING: Biden IGNORED at Gas Station, Calls for END OF DEMOCRACY | Beyond the Headlines

In a desperate attempt to emulate President Trump, Joe Biden visited a local gas station in Philadelphia to connect with the average American. While Trump was welcomed with open arms, let’s just say…..Biden was not. Later on, he gave a speech where he prioritized ‘freedom’ over ‘democracy’ – was this yet another gaffe, or simply Joe saying the quiet part out loud?

Elijah Schaffer goes over all this and more on today’s Beyond the Headlines!

Biden Says a Child Gave Him the Middle Finger: “It Happens All the Time” (VIDEO)

81 million votes.

Joe Biden this week said a child gave him the middle finger: “It happens all the time.”

“You — I’ve never thought I’d see a time when I’m going through a — a neighborhood or a rural town that’s in the west and see big signs that s- — have a Trump sign in the middle that says “F Biden” and having a little kid standing with his middle finger — seven years old, eight years old,” Biden said in Scranton, Pennsylvania this week.

“Well, I promise, it happens all the time,” Biden added.

Biden spent all week campaigning in Pennsylvania and it was a total dumpster fire.

On Tuesday, Biden went to his hometown of Scranton where virtually no one showed up to see him – IN HIS OWN HOMETOWN!

On Wednesday Biden visited the steelworkers union headquarters in Pittsburgh where he claimed cannibals ate his “uncle Bosey.”

Biden copied Trump and visited a Sheetz gas station. He walked into the gas station to total silence.

There was no fanfare. No one was excited to see 81 million vote recipient Joe Biden in deep blue Pittsburgh.

On Wednesday got testy with a local reporter in Pittsburgh who pointed out that there are tons of Trump signs all over Pennsylvania but virtually no Biden signs.

One local reporter pointed out that there are virtually no Biden signs anywhere in Pennsylvania – but there are lots of Trump signs!

“When you drive around the area, you see a lot of Trump signs, not very many Biden signs do you feel like you’re in trouble here?” a reporter said to Joe Biden.

Biden got testy with the reporter.

“Well you haven’t been driving in the right places, pal,” Biden said.

Malaysian Doctor Expresses Deep Regret for Vaccination Stance, Offers Profuse Apology for Past Advice During COVID-19 Pandemic

Dr. Syafiq Nordin, a well-known Malaysian medical practitioner with a significant following on social media, has issued a profound apology for his past endorsements of the Pfizer vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an emotional Facebook post, which gained attention after being highlighted by aussie17, a whistleblower from within the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Syafiq outlines his regret and issues an apology for his past advice during the vaccination campaign.

Dr. Syafiq Nordin, Restorative Medicine (Facebook)

Here’s the translation to English:

PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES

1. In light of the recent news about Pfizer, a weakness in the industry in which I myself am involved has become apparent.

2. I feel a sadness within me, because before meeting Dr. Razin Jaafar, there were many mistakes in the medical advice I provided, especially related to COVID-19.

3. However, I am very grateful to him because now I am more open-eyed and more enlightened about health sciences, which honestly are more natural and resonate with my soul as a medical practitioner and as a Muslim.

4. During the past COVID era, it cannot be denied that it was difficult for health workers who worked tirelessly to provide the best healthcare, and even more challenging for the rest of the population facing lockdowns.

5. The administration of the vaccine at that time was seen as the best approach and the vaccine distribution program was quickly launched on a large scale.

6. I also participated, in my own capacity, in providing medical advice and obtaining ‘consent’ so that the vaccine could be administered.

7. As a medical practitioner, I also received the Pfizer vaccine 3 times.

8. Everything happened in a ‘touch & go’ manner, making it impossible for me to identify those to whom I had provided medical advice related to this issue.

9. With this, I would like to sincerely apologize for the mistakes I have made in the past years, especially to those who came to me during the mass distribution of the COVID vaccine.

10. Honestly, I do not have the capacity to help financially should complications arise.

11. However, I will try my best to provide more holistic medical advice, in line with the Restorative Science brought by Dr. Razin.

I apologize, a Citizen of Malaysia
Dr. Syafiq Nordin
Restorative Medicine

*** This apology is somewhat akin to Pfizer, easy to write, but for me, actually heavier to bear.
*** The picture refers to the Dunning-Kruger effect – referring to me being at the very bottom level at this time. (oh my goodness)”

Below are some of the comments on his post:

“We are required to obey the authorities… it’s beyond our control, doc… as ordinary citizens who didn’t know anything at the time, when seeing the news about Pfizer, yeah, quite disappointed… let Allah judge what has happened in the hereafter… but for sure after this I will never ever get any vaccine…”

“I don’t understand how doctors and other health staff can be so confident about the vaccine and not validate the voices of people who report being affected by the vaccine. It’s utterly heartless and very disappointing. After all, there are healthy individuals who suddenly die a day after the vaccine. It’s obviously dangerous… I also don’t understand how religious people, whose father or family members are affected by the vaccine, can still think positively and are not as vocal in criticizing the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine as they were in encouraging it before. They also remain silent on all the abuses committed against those who reject the vaccine. I think that’s one of the reasons why people reject any advice from such doctors or religious figures.”

“Do you guys want to know something? When they want to vaccinate you with a thousand guarantees and promises, you believe them. Then they apologize, and you believe them again. After apologizing, they need to publish an article or research, right? There, you believe that article too. ahahaha. That’s the difference between you and us who didn’t get vaccinated. We see it from the perspective of a culling program and implementation of evil that must continue. You see it as a medical mistake.”
