Trump Blasts Biden for Threatening Arms Embargo Against Israel If It Invades Rafah to Finish Off Hamas in Gaza

President Trump blasted Joe Biden in a Truth Social post early Thursday after Biden threatened to withhold offensive weapons (bombs and artillery shells) to Israel over Israel’s plans to invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah to finish off Hamas in the terror group’s last stronghold. Biden is opposed to the military incursion by Israel because he says Palestinian civilians will be killed. Biden also confirmed that he has withheld a shipment of 2,000 lb. bombs to Israel.

Biden made his threat in an interview Wednesday with CNN’s Erin Burnett, “I’ve made it clear that if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically been used to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities…it’s just wrong. We’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells”. @potus tells me”

Biden also said, “I’ve made it clear to Bibi and the war cabinet: They’re not going to get our support, if in fact they go on these population centers.”

Trump posted in response, “Crooked Joe Biden, whether he knows it or not, just said he will withhold weapons from Israel as they fight to eradicate Hamas Terrorists in Gaza. Hamas murdered thousands of innocent civilians, including babies, and are still holding Americans hostage, if the hostages are still alive. Yet Crooked Joe is taking the side of these terrorists, just like he has sided with the Radical Mobs taking over our college campuses, because his donors are funding them. Biden is weak, corrupt, and leading the world straight into World War III. Remember – this war in Israel, just like the war in Ukraine, would have NEVER started if I was in the White House. But very soon, we will be back, and once again demanding PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!”

Biden and his national security team have been micro-managing Israel’s response to the October 7 attack by Hamas, forcing Israel to change tactics, relax embargoes and facilitate truckloads of humanitarian aid for Palestinians in Gaza that invariably gets stolen by Hamas. As the war enters its seventh month, Biden has become more concerned with losing support from the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party than in freeing American hostages held by Hamas since October 7, or in ensuring an Israeli victory.

Later Wednesday, a “senior administration official” spoke to Jewish Insider about Biden’s threat, “”A senior Biden administration official told JI after Biden’s interview that withholding the arms shipments does not mean Biden’s support for Israel’s security is no longer “ironclad.” Instead, the official argued that there is a distinction between the U.S. giving Israel access to defensive weapons versus offensive weapons — and that the bombs the U.S. is withholding are not needed for defensive purposes.” The Biden adviser: “It’s ironclad to Israel’s security, right, like, I mean, they need Iron Dome defense systems. You can argue that they don’t need a 2,000-pound unguided munition in order to defend themselves. He is drawing a distinction in the interview between defensive weapons, which he will always support, and some types of offensive weapons, for instance, the 500-pound, 1,000-pound unguided munitions that Israel would use in a Rafah operation if they decided to move forward with that.””

Pro-Palestinian Protesters Attempt to Block Painter from Covering Up Their Graffiti – Then Find Out What Happens – MUST SEE VIDEO

Pro-Palestinian protesters were spray-painted by a contractor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio early Tuesday morning as they stood in front of a campus Spirit Wall that had been hijacked by Hamas supporters who had painted it over with anti-Israel messages. The protesters, who wore clear plastic face shields, stood directly in front of the wall in an effort to prevent the contractors from doing their job. A pro-Hamas encampment at CWRU is now in its second week.

Video posted by the school’s Students for Justice in Palestine group shows one of the contractors spray-painting the protesters, with one covered in white paint. The group posted the video to Instagram with the message in nearly all caps, “AROUND 5 AM THIS MORNING, STUDENTS WERE SPRAYED WITH PAINT WHILE CONTRACTORS CALLED BY CWRU ATTEMPTED TO COVER THE SPIRIT WALL. THEY LATER CAME CLOSER TO NOON AND COVERED THE ENTIRE WALL WITH PAINT. THE STUDENTS FOLLOWED THE SPIRIT WALL POSTING POLICY, AND ADMIN STILL HAD A PROBLEM. The lengths this university goes to defend Zionist Genocidal interests is insane.”

Video posted by Cleveland.com

Case Western Reserve University President Eric Kaler issued a statement Wednesday denouncing the spray-painting of the protesters:

An update on an overnight incident at the Spirit Wall
To the Case Western Reserve community:

Earlier today, I wrote to you noting that the university was investigating an incident in which an individual who was painting over protesters’ writings on the Spirit Wall hit student protesters with paint. I have reviewed video footage, which depicts students blocking the wall as a third-party contractor spray painted directly onto protesters as he attempted to finish painting the wall, and I am disturbed by what occurred.

Let me be clear: No students—or any individuals—should ever be treated this way, especially on a campus where our core values center on providing a safe, welcoming environment. This is not who we are as an institution, and I am deeply sorry this ever occurred.

The university will continue to fully investigate these actions and hold individuals responsible for this behavior, including the failure of our own officers to intervene.

Again, I want to reiterate my sincere regret for this incident. As with any violation of our codes of conduct, we will take action to hold them accountable.

Sincerely,

Eric W. Kaler
President

Kaler previously issued a statement criticizing the protesters for painting “threatening, intimidating and antisemitic” messages on campus walls.

Addressing intimidating speech on university property: May 7, 2024
To the Case Western Reserve community,

I fully support individuals’ rights to share their viewpoints in accordance with our freedom of expression policy. However, that policy—and the core values that define our university—have been continually violated over the past eight days, including yesterday afternoon when protesters at the non-sanctioned encampment on Kelvin Smith Library Oval painted an advocacy wall near Eldred Hall with language the university administration and many members of our community view as threatening, intimidating and antisemitic.

As I have repeatedly noted, constructive, meaningful exchanges should never involve harassment, incitement, or behavior that threatens and is intimidating to our community. I strongly condemn the language posted yesterday on the advocacy wall, and want to reiterate to our entire community that such language—no matter to whom it is directed—will not be tolerated on our campus.

After defacing the advocacy wall, later in the evening, the protesters painted the spirit wall near Thwing Center with language that was less threatening but still intimidating to some in our community. The university has painted over the advocacy wall and will complete painting over the spirit wall this morning. The university is investigating an incident in which one or more protesters blocking the spirit wall were hit by paint.

The students involved in yesterday’s advocacy wall painting and those who continue to break university policy by remaining in an unapproved encampment on private property will be held fully accountable for their actions through the conduct process. Any faculty and staff members who take part in activities that violate the freedom of expression policy—which this encampment does—also will be required to go through a conduct process. The actions of all participants, whether within or outside the CWRU community, may also be in violation of criminal or civil law.

I understand and appreciate the importance of advocating for a cause that is deeply personal and undeniably tragic, as the Israel-Hamas war and the resulting loss of lives are in Israel and Gaza. But advocacy for a cause is most persuasive when it goes back to those core values upon which Case Western Reserve operates, with responsibility, civility and ethical behavior among them. I urge the student protesters to remove the encampment and begin the student conduct process.

Sincerely,

Eric W. Kaler

Cleveland’s mayor and chief of police issued a joint statement, reported WOIO-TV:

Mayor Justin Bibb and Chief Annie Todd Respond to Recent Incidents on the CWRU Campus

In light of the recent video that surfaced from the CWRU campus, which displays individuals being painted over with spray paint, it is crucial that we express our stance unambiguously.

Cleveland is a city for everyone, and we must respect the thoughts, feelings, and voices of those who come from various backgrounds. These diverse perspectives are what makes us special, and ultimately stronger, as a city. Our community deserves venues where they have the ability to constitutionally-express their opinions openly without fear of criminal interference. We support 1st Amendment rights and implore CWRU leadership to consider this and think about how the decisions they make and the actions they take – especially against those who are abiding by the law – will influence some of the progress we have collectively made as a city. At the same time, we urge individuals to demonstrate peacefully.

We want to be clear in that we condemn all forms of violence and the Division of Police stands ready to offer support should that occur. Public safety has been and always will be our number one priority.

Mayor Bibb & Chief Todd

WOIO also reported a student protester named Raissa complaining about the incident:

“It was a pressurized paint gun spraying harmful chemicals with carcinogens and toxins directly with no concern for health or the well-being of an individual who is paying to be here,” said Raissa.

“We had some students talking to the police like how can they do this. The painters were like were following orders. The police said we’re following orders from higher administrative and I guess they didn’t think of the morality of what they were doing,” said Raissa.

Video of the encampment posted early Monday:

OUTRAGE: George Washington Statue Still Covered in Palestinian Terrorist Rag and Flag at GW University; Rep. Lauren Boebert Only One Who Tried to Intervene (Video)

The statue of George Washington at George Washington University located just blocks from the White House is still being desecrated by communist-Islamist revolutionaries who took over University Yard (U-Yard) during a campus riot late last week, only now the Palestinian terrorist (keffiyeh) totally covers Washington’s face, making him look like an Islamist terrorist.

On Wednesday, protesters surrounded Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) when she tried to remove the Palestinian flag from the George Washington Statue, preventing her from removing the flag. Apparently none of the GOP members with her tried to help her liberate the statue. The Congressmen were on campus for a meeting with administrators and to hold a photo-op at U-Yard.

On Wednesday, several Republican members of Congress went to U-Yard after meeting with GWU administrators, reported the GW Hatchet (excerpt):

Six Republican members of the House of Representatives Oversight Committee visited the pro-Palestinian encampment in University Yard on Wednesday, where they called on D.C. officials to arrest protesters involved in the demonstration.

Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), William Timmons (R-SC), Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Eric Burlison (R-MO) met with GW officials, walked through the encampment and then held a press conference on H Street where they lambasted D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and local police for reportedly rejecting GW’s request to clear the encampment. The members’ visit comes after the committee called on Bowser and MPD Chief Pamela Smith on Wednesday to testify next week following their reported refusal to sweep U-Yard and H Street.

Students from eight D.C. universities, including GW, have camped in U-Yard for a week to protest the war in Gaza and call for their universities’ divestment from Israel and protection of pro-Palestinian students…

…Boebert also tried to remove a Palestinian flag wrapped around the George Washington statue at the front of U-Yard while walking through the encampment.

“It is private property, and this is America, and this should come down,” Boebert said to protesters near the flag before walking away.

“We Will Honor All the Martyrs” – Hamas Supporters at Columbia University Smash Windows, Take Control of Hamilton Hall in Overnight Attack (Video)

The Islamo-Communist revolution taking place on college campuses took another step forward overnight with the takeover of Hamilton Hall at Columbia University in New York City. Dozens of Hamas supporters who have been staging a campus ‘occupy protest’ against Israel and the United States smashed windows and stormed the building apparently unimpeded by law enforcement while hundreds more gathered outside the building to secure the entrances.

The action by the protesters took place 56 years to the day, April 30, 1968, when police forced an end to a week-long student occupation of Hamilton Hall. Since then, Hamilton Hall has been the sight of protest actions, such as a 1985 protest calling for divestment from South Africa.

At around 1:28 a.m., protesters draped a Palestinian flag from a window on the third floor. Minutes later, protesters used newspapers to cover the windows on the doors. Protesters unfurled a banner from the leftmost side of Hamilton, reading “Gaza Calls Columbia Falls,” at around 1:38 a.m.

From the Hamilton balcony, protesters unfurled another banner at around 1:40 a.m., reading “Hind’s Hall.” The name refers to Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian who was killed by the Israeli military in Gaza on Jan. 29.

“We will honor all the martyrs, all the parents, mothers, fathers,” protesters chanted. “We will honor all the martyrs, all the children, sons, and daughters.”

The protesters on the balcony led several call-and-response chants with those gathered outside the building. Protesters chanted “Columbia, you will see, Palestine is almost free” and “This building is now liberated.”

Following the chants, the protesters announced that they would occupy Hamilton until “Columbia meets every one of our demands.”

At around 1:56 a.m., protesters draped another banner from the top of the building’s facade that read “Intifada.”

Protesters began chanting “no divestment, no commencement” at around 2:23 a.m. Minutes later, protesters unfurled a fourth banner which read “Student Intifada” from a Hamilton window facing the Sundial.

Breaking: Rioting Pro-Hamas Students Tear Down Barricades at George Washington University Just Blocks From White House; Palestinian Flag and Keffiyeh Draped on Statue of Nation’s First President

Several hundred pro-Hamas students, angered by an attempted arrest of a protester by police, rioted at George Washington University overnight, located a few blocks west of the White House in Washington, D.C. The students tore down barricades that had blocked off an earlier attempted ‘occupy’ protest on campus grounds at University Yard (U-Yard). The students retook U-Yard, erecting tents and planting Palestinian flags on the pile of barricades. A Palestinian flag and keffiyeh draped on a statue of our nation’s first President George Washington at the start of the protest several days ago were still desecrating America’s founding father.

The protest is part of an attempt to foment communist revolution in the U.S., using college campuses as a focal point, with an alliance of terrorist supporting communists and Islamists.

GWU had cleared the ‘occupy’ protest at U-Yard several days ago and was allowing only about twenty protesters to remain. The D.C. government refused to help, reportedly fearing bad optics. D.C. allowed the protesters to take over a city street in front of the campus area for the weekend. Like magic, dozens of tents looking just the ones at other campus protests sprung up on H Street.

Before the riot, GWU had sent out a statement to alumni Sunday night explaining their handling of the protest:

Oops: Emory University Professor Admits to Hitting Police Officer Before She Was Arrested (Video)

Emory University economics professor Caroline Fohlin went viral this week with video of her arrest as police cleared an illegal campus ‘occupy’ protest by Hamas supporters Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia. The shocking video of the female professor being forcibly taken to the ground by a police officer who needed a second officer to control the resisting Fohlin and then her hitting her head on the sidewalk was reposted and viewed millions of times worldwide.

Fohlin was one of two professors arrested at the protest Thursday. The other was Noëlle McAfee, the chair of Emory’s philosophy department.

Fohlin is married to Emory’s Dean of Admission, John F. Latting (He/Him/His).

Fohlin appeared in court on Friday where she was freed on $50 bond. Fohlin’s attorney Gregory Clement issued a statement Friday after her release stating she was not a protester and denying the charges against her, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (scroll down) (excerpt):

All 23 people arrested at Thursday’s protest at Emory have been released from the Dekalb County Jail, records show.

Defendants were released on bond by 6:25 p.m., with all of them except two being released on signature bonds, which are cashless bonds usually used for minor or nonviolent offenses. Bonds were granted to the defendants Friday in magistrate court.

Among the first to be released Friday afternoon was Emory economics professor Caroline Fohlin, who is a tenured professor at the university. Fohlin was granted a $50 bond on a charge of simple battery against a police officer and disorderly conduct. Her arrest was caught on camera and went viral on social media.

“Caroline Fohlin was not a protester at Emory on April 25,” her attorney Gregory Clement said. “She emerged from her office, concerned only about the treatment of students on the quad. She looks forward to vigorously defending the accusations against her in court.”

Professor McAfee spoke to WXIA-TV about her arrest (excerpt):

Noëlle McAfee, the chair of the Emory Philosophy Department, spoke to 11Alive’s Brittany Kleinpeter about her arrest that, in the last 24 hours, has been broadcast worldwide.

She said she first saw a young protester thrown to the ground by officers, who were “pummeling them, just pummeling and pummeling.”

“The mother in me said ‘stop. Stop.’ And I made sure to stand four feet away from them, standing still, nonconfrontational, I said, ‘stop’ — one of the cops stood up and got right in front of me and said, ‘Ma’am, you need to step back, you need to step back,'” McAfee, a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, said. “And I was watching them pummel somebody, I said, ‘no.’ And they arrested me.”

In comments to the Journal-Constitution (scroll down), McAfee slammed the Atlanta police (excerpt):

Noelle McAfee, chair of Emory University’s philosophy department, said she’s been concerned for the past year about Emory “clamping down on student dissent and spaces for expressing their ideas.” McAfee was detained after a Thursday protest and ticketed, but she was not booked into the DeKalb County jail.

She said the reaction to recent demonstrations by the university delegitimized and dismissed student voices, noting the characterization that protestors were outside actors and antisemitic.

“Calling in the Atlanta police is escalating things. Those are the true outside agitators,” she said.

A small peaceful, protest was reportedly held Saturday at Emory with no arrests.

Democrats Warn DC Journos a Trump Victory Could Make This the “Last” White House Correspondents’ Dinner

President Joe Biden addresses the White House Correspondents 'Association Dinner on Saturday.

The White House Correspondents Association Dinner being held Saturday night is a D.C. institution first held in 1921 that awards reporters and raises scholarship money for journalism students. In recent decades the dinner has become a monster weekend bash for the media and the government officials they cover. Pre and after dinner parties and brunches bookend the dinner that has come to be known as the Nerd Prom. Media outlets vie with each other to get the best celebrity and government guests for their tables.

The dinner is traditionally attended by the president (since 1924)–who is roasted by a comedian (except Obama) and then makes his own speech written by joke writers. However that tradition was broken when President Trump refused to play the fool to the assembled government and media conspirators conniving to drive him from office. Trump did not attend the dinner once in the four years of his presidency, becoming the first president who did not attend at least one dinner. (Trump famously attended the 2011 dinner where Obama torched him, making some think that provided motivation for his 2016 presidential run. Video at end of article.)

President Joe Biden addresses the White House Correspondents 'Association Dinner on Saturday.

This year’s dinner will be attended by senior Trump campaign advisor Chris LaCivita, according to People magazine which published a list of celebrity guests for the dinner. LaCivita is a guest of CNN, as is senior Biden campaign official Mike Donilon.

NBC’s table is stocked with senior Biden officials: Jeff Zients, White House chief of staff; Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of Homeland Security; Janet Yellen, secretary of the Treasury; Bill Burns, CIA director; Ben LaBolt, White House communications director; Lisa Monaco, U.S. deputy attorney general.

But now, with Trump routinely leading Joe Biden in polling about six months from election day, the Democratic Party sent a press release to reporters this week warning this could be the “last” Correspondents’ Dinner if Trump is elected (hint, hint.)

Democrat rapid response director Alex Floyd posted, “NEW: @DNCWarRoom hopes everyone has a good time this weekend, because if Donald Trump wins in November, this Saturday could also be known as the *last* White House Correspondents’ Dinner. (But we’ll make sure that does not happen).”

Happy White House Correspondents’ Dinner! (And We’ll Make Sure It’s Not the Last)
APRIL 25, 2024

Ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:

“We hope everyone has a good time this weekend, because if Donald Trump wins in November, this Saturday could also be known as the last White House Correspondents’ Dinner. To state the obvious: Trump is a thin-skinned narcissist who – despite spending seemingly every waking moment glued to his seat consuming cable news – is constantly attacking the free press and unable to handle a little good-natured ribbing. He skipped the White House Correspondents’ Dinner every single year he was in office because of his deep-seated insecurities and pathetic desperation to be liked by the same people he rails against – and that was before he outright banned members of his administration from attending at all. Fun and jokes aside this weekend, Saturday is also a reminder of what’s at stake with an angry, vengeful Trump on the ballot. He may be a punchline, but he is also a sad, vindictive wannabe authoritarian who shows no respect for the First Amendment – or the Fourth Estate.”

The press release then went on to list Trump bashing media reports to remind reporters suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome what life was like for them under a Trump presidency.

Trump is too thin-skinned and insecure to handle a little teasing…

Vanity Fair: “Trump Gets Roasted After Declining Third White House Correspondents’ Dinner”

Reuters: “Trump orders administration officials not to attend White House correspondents dinner”

NPR: “Trump Will Be First President In 36 Years To Skip White House Correspondents’ Dinner”

Washington Post: “With self-deprecation on menu for presidents at correspondents’ dinner, it’s no wonder Trump is skipping it”

Politico: “Trump’s Jokes Killed DC’s Sense of Humor”

… and has repeatedly stoked anger against the media and defended violent attacks on members of the press.

Vanity Fair: “Trump Campaign Denies Press Credentials for Several Journalists”

Trump: “The Fake News Media in our Country is the real Opposition Party. It is truly the Enemy of the People! We must bring honesty back to journalism and reporting!”

CNN: “Trump calls journalists ‘bad people’ at rally a week after newsroom shooting”

Politico: “[Trump] returned to scathing attacks on the news media just one week after a gunman killed five journalists at a Maryland newspaper. He derided the press as ‘fake news,’ ‘bad people’ and ‘so damn dishonest.’ ‘They’re fake,’ he said, pointing at the press area in the arena. ‘These are really bad people.’”

Associated Press: “Trump says media is ‘Enemy of the People’ after shooting, bomb plot”

New York Times: “In urging the crowd to vote for Representative Greg Gianforte, who is running for re-election and who was sentenced to anger management classes and community service for assaulting a reporter last spring, Mr. Trump jokingly warned the crowd to ‘never wrestle him.’ ‘I had heard he body-slammed a reporter,’ Mr. Trump said, noting that he was initially concerned that Mr. Gianforte would lose in a special election last May. ‘I said, ‘Wait a minute. I know Montana pretty well; I think it might help him.’ And it did.’ ‘Anybody that can do a body-slam,’ the president added, ‘that’s my kind of guy.’”

Reports like those above tend to create more Trump voters, even if they drive the likes of Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to early morning fits of rage.

Note: Starting in 1999 and running straight through the early 2010s, this writer protested liberal media bias outside the dinner with the FReepers from Free Republic. Our gathering, while direct and passionate, will likely be looked back on with relief after Hamas supporting communists and Islamists protest this year’s dinner.

Paul Bond, formerly with The Hollywood Reporter, wrote about the FReepers’ tribute protest for Andrew Breitbart outside the 2012 dinner.

That’s so cool you remembered me and that story. Thanks for jogging my memory. Great having drinks with you guys that night as I typed out the story in the bar, as I recall. I’m surprised that story survived, as THR purged a lot of my old (and best!) stories a while ago.

SHOCK VIDEO: Cal Poly Humboldt Shuts Down After Pro-Hamas Activists Occupied the President’s Office

Cal Poly Humboldt, located on the coast in Arcata, about 280 miles north of San Francisco, shut down its campus on Friday after pro-Hamas/Communist activists took over President Tom Jackson’s office and set up an ‘occupy zone.’ One of the buildings was renamed “Intifada Hall” by the terrorist supporters. The school will be closed through May 10 with classes held online. Humboldt, which is a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), reports it has 5,858 undergraduate students with fulltime tuition and fees for the year costing $7,864.

The office of Cal Poly Humboldt President Tom Jackson was vandalized by Hamas supporters who occupied Siemens Hall, screen image via Ryan Burns/YouTube, April 27, 2024.

The school has acknowledged outside actors are in involved, saying, in a statement Wednesday (scroll down to April 24 at link), “There are unidentified non-students with unknown intentions, in Siemens Hall. This creates an unpredictable environment. In addition, all entrances to the building are barricaded, creating a fire hazard. Adding to health and safety concerns, many toilets are no longer working.”

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Saturday about 100 tents are spread around the occupied campus, “UPDATE: About 100 tents covered the lawns adjoining Siemens Hall and extended across the Cal Poly Humboldt campus Saturday as Pro-Palestinian demonstrators protest in defiance of the university’s orders to leave Friday evening.”

More video posted by Ryan Burns from the Lost Coast Outpost shows what the pro-Hamas activists did to the president’s office:

Lost Coast Outpost filed a report on the occupation with photos and more videos that can be read at this link.

Cal Poly Humboldt issued statements Friday closing the campus and offering amnesty from arrest and mitigation of disciplinary action for those who left by 4 p.m. The statements were posted on the school’s “Emergency” page.

Campus Closed Through the End of the Semester, Remote Instruction and Work Continue
April 26, 2024 – 12:30pm
Campus is now closed through May 10, and work and academic instruction will be remote as individuals continue to occupy Siemens Hall and Nelson Hall East. More details to follow about campus operations and remote work.

The occupation of Siemens Hall and Nelson Hall East is causing ongoing inability to open other campus facilities. Since Monday night, protestors have attempted several times to break into multiple locked buildings with the intention of either locking themselves in, vandalizing, or stealing equipment. Vandalism and theft have continued across campus.

Campus Offers Chance to Leave Buildings with No Immediate Arrest
April 26, 2024 – 2:10pm
As part of an ongoing and urgent effort to protect life and safety in the ongoing crisis of occupied buildings, Cal Poly Humboldt is offering any of those currently in the buildings the opportunity to leave with a guarantee of no immediate arrest. This does not, however, eliminate University conduct-related sanctions or legal implications.

Those who walk out peacefully by the deadline will not be immediately arrested and will be able to leave campus without being arrested. In addition, voluntarily departing in this way will be considered as a mitigating factor in University conduct processes and may reduce the severity of sanctions imposed.

This offer is open until 4 p.m., Friday, April 26. (Later extended to 5 p.m.)

The offer applies to both students and non-students who are currently occupying buildings and illegally camping around them.

The individuals inside the buildings were told about this opportunity earlier today. They are also being notified by email and other communications channels.

A number of individuals have continued to occupy Siemens Hall since Monday, and have made efforts to occupy other buildings on campus. While the situation is largely stabilized, there is continuing destruction of property and other lawlessness in the central part of campus. This has caused complex operational challenges that require the closure of other facilities on campus. The occupation is having a negative impact on other students, who are trying to complete classes at the end of the semester

The Cal Poly Humboldt campus is closed through the remainder of the semester, and work and instruction continue to be remote.

The school responded earlier Friday to the pro-Hamas activists’ list of demands which can be read at the “Emergency” page. The school would not commit to total amnesty:

4. Drop charges against and halt the harassment of student organizers by law enforcement.

University policy and conduct violations will follow established procedures, and there will be consequences for actions that violate policy or law. However, students who elect to evacuate the building and support efforts to clear the building will have their actions considered as a mitigating factor within those processes.

Background on Cal Poly Humboldt via Wikipedia (excerpt):

California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt (Cal Poly Humboldt or Humboldt[Note 1][7]) is a public university in Arcata, California. It is one of three polytechnic universities in the California State University (CSU) system and the northernmost campus in the system.

The main campus, situated hillside at the edge of a coast redwood forest, overlooks Arcata, much of Humboldt Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. The college town setting on the California North Coast, 8 miles (13 km) north of Eureka, 279 miles (449 km) north of San Francisco, and 654 miles (1053 km) north of Los Angeles is notable for its natural beauty. It is the most westerly four-year university in the contiguous United States. Humboldt is a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI).

The university is divided into three colleges: the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; the College of Natural Resources and Sciences; and the College of Professional Studies.[6] It offers 58 bachelor’s degree programs, 14 master’s degree programs, 76 minors, and 4 credential programs.[3] Cal Poly Humboldt does not offer doctoral degrees.

The wave of pro-Hamas protests is being orchestrated by a global anti-Western Civilization alliance of Communists and Islamists. While issue is Gaza, as the saying goes, ‘the issue is never the issue, the issue is the revolution.’

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem Stirs Controversy With Tale of Killing Her ‘Untrainable’, ‘Dangerous’ 14-Month-Old Hunting Dog and a Goat

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R), who has been mentioned as a possible Trump vice presidential pick, wrote in her new book that she shot and killed her “untrainable” and “dangerous” 14-month-old wirehair pointer hunting dog named Cricket after it killed a neighbor’s chickens and attacked Noem, as well as a killing a goat the same afternoon.

Noem spoke at a Trump rally in Ohio last month.

Noem’s book, No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward, is set for release next month, however The Guardian obtained a copy and published a report early Friday morning on Noem writing about killing her dog and goat.

Noem responded to The Guardian report Friday morning, “We love animals, but tough decisions like this happen all the time on a farm. Sadly, we just had to put down 3 horses a few weeks ago that had been in our family for 25 years. If you want more real, honest, and politically INcorrect stories that’ll have the media gasping, preorder “No Going Back””

According to a post by Noem, President Trump endorsed her book earlier this month:

Excerpt from The Guardian report:

By taking Cricket on a pheasant hunt with older dogs, Noem says, she hoped to calm the young dog down and begin to teach her how to behave. Unfortunately, Cricket ruined the hunt, going “out of her mind with excitement, chasing all those birds and having the time of her life”.

Noem describes calling Cricket, then using an electronic collar to attempt to bring her under control. Nothing worked. Then, on the way home after the hunt, as Noem stopped to talk to a local family, Cricket escaped Noem’s truck and attacked the family’s chickens, “grabb[ing] one chicken at a time, crunching it to death with one bite, then dropping it to attack another”.

Cricket the untrainable dog, Noem writes, behaved like “a trained assassin”.

When Noem finally grabbed Cricket, she says, the dog “whipped around to bite me”. Then, as the chickens’ owner wept, Noem repeatedly apologised, wrote the shocked family a check “for the price they asked, and helped them dispose of the carcasses littering the scene of the crime”.

Through it all, Noem says, Cricket was “the picture of pure joy”.

“I hated that dog,” Noem writes, adding that Cricket had proved herself “untrainable”, “dangerous to anyone she came in contact with” and “less than worthless … as a hunting dog”.

“At that moment,” Noem says, “I realised I had to put her down.”

(SKIP)

Noem decided to kill the unnamed goat the same way she had just killed Cricket the dog. But though she “dragged him to a gravel pit”, the goat jumped as she shot and therefore survived the wound. Noem says she went back to her truck, retrieved another shell, then “hurried back to the gravel pit and put him down”.

At that point, Noem writes, she realised a construction crew had watched her kill both animals. The startled workers swiftly got back to work, she writes, only for a school bus to arrive and drop off Noem’s children.

“Kennedy looked around confused,” Noem writes of her daughter, who asked: “Hey, where’s Cricket?”

CNN gave a dramatic reading of The Guardian report:

You’ve got to see this thorough recap of what led up to Kristi “black heart” Noem, coldly shooting and killing her dog Cricket in a gravel pit.

Details you might have missed earlier was that a construction crew witnessed the entire deed. Then a school-bus drove up to the scene… pic.twitter.com/sfGhBzDppP

A podcaster named John Burk is one of the few to come to Noem’s defense, “I read the Noem hit piece. For clarity; in the book she described the dog attacking and killing a friend’s chickens on the way back from a hunting trip. Then when she tried to reel it in, it turned on her to attack. She referenced it as a worthless HUNTING dog. Folks, I’m not a fan of hers either, but context and the entirety of the statement matters. If the dog is untrainable and poses a risk to other humans, you’re risking a lawsuit if it bites someone. You need to put it down. It’s a hard situation either way, but that’s life. Take politics and emotion out of it, she wasn’t wrong. As for the goat, no idea. Didn’t even read that far because it was clear the author was full of it.”

https://twitter.com/ImMeme0/status/1783981106703794501

A common view that will put Noem in the hot seat for weeks (and months?) to come. At least she didn’t eat the dog like Barack Obama did (via Daily Caller):

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

“ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE”: Trump Responds to Biden Saying He Will Debate “Somewhere, I Don’t Know When”

Trump rattled Biden in their first debate, screen image, September 29, 2020.

President Trump has been pressuring Joe Biden to debate for months, with Biden not committing. At recent rallies, Trump has set an empty debate podium for Biden on stage.

https://twitter.com/TheConserv55806/status/1779306793186779242

Joe Biden gave an interview to not-so-shocking-anymore-jock Howard Stern on SiriusXM Friday morning–or as Fox host Dagen McDowell put it, “that was Fart Man interviewing old man.”

https://twitter.com/KarluskaP/status/1783893819684950418

Stern: “I don’t know if you’re gonna to debate your, uh, your opponent.”

Biden: “I am somewhere, I don’t know when. I’m happy to debate him.”

Senior Trump campaign advisor and chief operating officer of the Republican National Committee Chris LaCivita posted a reply to Biden on X Twitter, “Ok let’s set it up!”

Ok let’s set it up ! https://t.co/wPMBiGi0IU

— Chris LaCivita (@LaCivitaC) April 26, 2024

Trump responded in Trump style on Truth Social Friday afternoon, “Crooked Joe Biden just announced that he’s willing to debate! Everyone knows he doesn’t really mean it, but in case he does, I say, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE, an old expression used by Fighters. I suggest Monday Evening, Tuesday Evening, or Wednesday Evening at my Rally in Michigan, a State that he is in the process of destroying with his E.V. Mandate. In the alternative, he’s in New York City today, although probably doesn’t know it, and so am I, stuck in one of the many Court cases that he instigated as ELECTION INTERFERENCE AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT – A CONTINUING WITCH HUNT! It’s the only way he thinks he can win. In fact, let’s do the Debate at the Courthouse tonight – on National Television, I’ll wait around!”

The Commission on Presidential Debates, the bipartisan body that has overseen presidential debates since 1988, announced the schedule for the 2024 debates last November.

First presidential debate:
Monday, September 16, 2024
Texas State University, San Marcos, TX

Vice presidential debate:
Wednesday, September 25, 2024
Lafayette College, Easton, PA

Second presidential debate:
Tuesday, October 1, 2024
Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA

Third presidential debate:
Wednesday, October 9, 2024
The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT

Trump is pushing for more and earlier debates as ‘early voting’ starts in some states before the first debate. The Trump campaign sent a letter to the debate commission on April 11:

Dear Members of the Commission:

We write today in agreement with the pending letter from television networks advocating for presidential debates to occur in 2024.

While the Commission on Presidential Debates has already announced three presidential debates and a vice-presidential debate to occur later this year, we are in favor of these debates beginning much earlier.

Here’s why:

1) Voting is beginning earlier and earlier, and as we saw in 2020, tens of millions of Americans had already voted by the time of the first debate. Specific to the Commission’s proposed 2024 calendar, it simply comes too late. Below are the estimates for how many Americans will have already voted by the date of each scheduled debate:

a. By the date of the first proposed debate, September 16, 2024, over 1 million Americans will have likely voted.
b. By the date of the second proposed debate, October 1, 2024, the number of Americans who will have likely cast a ballot will be over 3 million, an increase of 225%.
c. By the date of the third proposed debate, October 9, 2024, or 35 days out from election day, approximately 8.7 million Americans will have already voted.

2) Americans were robbed of a true and robust debate in 2020. There were only two debates, and they happened much too late in the election calendar despite voting timelines having moved up exponentially.

In 2020, the Commission ceded to the wishes of the Biden campaign on every front, refusing to move up the dates of the debates, failing to reschedule the debate canceled by COVID-19, cutting off President Trump’s microphone over and over in the middle of a debate, and in the
case of the first debate, selecting a demonstrably anti-Trump moderator clearly positioned to aid Joe Biden. Fairness in such a setting is paramount and the Commission must ensure that the 2024 Commission-sponsored debates are truly fair and conducted impartially.

The Commission must move up the timetable of its proposed 2024 debates to ensure more Americans have a full chance to see the candidates before they start voting, and we would argue for adding more debates in addition to those on the currently proposed schedule. We have
already indicated President Trump is willing to debate anytime, anyplace, and anywhere – and the time to start these debates is now.

Former President Abraham Lincoln and former U.S. Senator Stephen A. Douglas held seven debates in their storied 1858 U.S. Senate battle in Illinois. Certainly today’s America deserves as much.

Sincerely,
Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita

New York Construction Worker Has Blunt Two-Word Message for Joe Biden (Video)

President Trump visited construction workers at the site of the 1,388 foot tall JP Morgan office building going up at 270 Park Avenue in New York City Thursday morning before heading to court. Trump was well received by a large crowd of workers and others who heard about the early morning (6:30 a.m.) campaign stop.

Among those was a construction worker who had a blunt two-word message for Joe Biden.

Fox News carried the Trump appearance live and got a brief interview:

WCBS-TV reported on Trump’s remarks and a campaign handout to reporters about the visit (excerpt):

“I’m going to make a play for New Yorkers. They said, I just heard, there was a very good poll that came out. Normally, a Democrat will win New York. Biden is the worst president in history, we have some very bad people here, but we have the greatest people and they’re right behind me. They all want us to run, and we’re going to run very hard in New York,” Trump said to reporters. “They’ve taken my constitutional right away with a gag order. That’s all it is, it’s election interference, this whole thing is election interference.”

Trump’s campaign team also handed out a three-page document, titled, “Union Workers Paying the Price for Biden’s Failed Economic Policies.” Among the bullet points, Trump says, if re-elected, he will ban Chinese and foreign ownership of critical U.S. infrastructure and cancel Biden’s electric vehicle mandate.

Activists with the leftist group Climate Defiance were thrown off the stage in a tumbled heap while disrupting an event honoring Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. There are no reports of arrests or injuries.

Murkowski was being honored by the Bryce Harlow Foundation at an event held at the Marriott Marquis hotel in downtown D.C. near the convention center. Bryce Harlow was a Republican presidential advisor, Congressional staffer and lobbyist.

Video posted by Climate Defiance shows several activists holding a banner being bull-rushed in a tumble off the stage by security and what appears to be organizers. A woman in a black dress who seems to be Murkowski moves away from the mob to a far corner of the small stage.

The video was posted with this commentary, “BREAKING: We just shut down a gala honoring U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. Murkowski is a murderer. She incinerates us to enrich her cronies. As Chevron’s top lobbyist gave her an award, we stepped in and stopped the ceremony. Respect us or expect us.”

The group posted childish, hysterical statements explaining why it protested Murkowski:

Murkowski played a lead role in persuading Biden to approve the Willow Project. This monstrosity will transport 200,000 barrels of oil every single day. This is hideous. This is cruel and barbaric beyond description. (3/5)

Murkowski claims to support climate legislation, but refused to step in and pass Build Back Better as Joe Manchin held the bill hostage for months. How does this woman sleep at night? How does she live with herself? Is there no limit to her depravity? Is there no limit?

Climate Defiance is very aggressive in their protests as video the group posted of a protest last month of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) shows:

BREAKING: we just called Joe Manchin a sick fuck. We humiliated him in front of a herd of Harvard elites. He squared up. We held firm. Barbaric murderer, hideous fiend, he torches humanity and laughs. pic.twitter.com/1ajrQsKnbJ

Rolling Stone praised the group:

Ilhan Omar’s “Angry Black Girl” Daughter Isra Hirsi Suspended by Barnard College Over Pro-Hamas Occupation of Columbia University

Isra Hirsi, the 21-year-old self-styled communist daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) announced on X Twitter Thursday that she has been suspended by Columbia University in New York City for organizing a pro-Hamas occupation on campus grounds. Hirsi attends Barnard College, which is connected to Columbia.

Hirsi describes herself as an “angry black girl” with a communist hammer and sickle symbol on her X Twitter profile.

Hirsi posted, “i’m an organizer with CU Apartheid Divest @ColumbiaSJP, in my 3 years at @BarnardCollege i have never been reprimanded or received any disciplinary warnings. i just received notice that i am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide…those of us in Gaza Solidarity Encampment will not be intimidated. we will stand resolute until our demands are met. our demands include divestment from companies complicit in genocide, transparency of @Columbia’s investments and FULL amnesty for all students facing repression”

Columbia University Apartheid Divest announced the suspension of Hirsi and two other Barnard students in a defiant statement issued Thursday morning:

Mother and daughter, image via Instagram:

Omar posted her support of the protest on Wednesday, complete with revolutionary raised fist emoji, “Columbia has always had an incredible history of students fighting for a more just world and it’s good to see that tradition continue. As NYPD surrounds young activists, I hope their concerns are heard by school administrators and they not be criminalized. In solidarity ✊

The image Omar posted connected the occupation protest to a similar attempted campus takeover by radical leftist students in 1968. Hirsi stated in an interview Wednesday that was the case that was posted by the People’s Dispatch, “Isra Hirsi (@israhirsi), Barnard College junior and organizer with @ColumbiaBDS, is participating in an indefinite occupation of Columbia’s campus in solidarity with Gaza. Organizers have remained defiant under repression and pledge to stay until Columbia divests from Israel.” (Hirsi was wearing a COVID mask even though she was outside.)

While her daughter was occupying the Columbia campus, Omar was grilling Columbia’s President Dr. Minouche Shafik at a House hearing on anti-Semitism at Columbia.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN): “Have you seen anti-Muslim protests on campus? … Against Arabs? … Palestinians?”

Columbia University President Minouche Shafik: “No.”

Omar: “Have you seen a protest saying we are against Jewish people?”

Shafik: “No.” pic.twitter.com/U0qbvrCPZk

Columbia student Eden Yadegar spoke earlier on Capitol Hill about pervasive anti-Semitism on campus:

"The same Jew hate that drove my family to the US has become normalized here."

— Rep. Burgess Owens (@RepBurgessOwens) April 16, 2024

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) confronted Shafik on a anti-Semitic campus handout, “Columbia’s school of social work orientation glossary defines “Ashkenormativity” as a “system of oppression that favors white Jewish folx.” The radical Left has turned our universities into hotbeds for antisemitism.”

Total Silence as Biden Drops by Sheetz Gas Station in Pittsburgh, Is Greeted by One Supporter at the Door and Leaves After Spending Only Two Minutes Inside(Video)

President Trump is swarmed by supporters at fast food restaurants and bodegas where he spends a long time talking to them and reporters, as happened Tuesday evening in Harlem. In contrast, 81 million vote getter Joe Biden stopped by a Sheetz gas station in Pittsburgh Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by total silence, save for one supporter who met him at the door with a hug. Video of Biden’s entrance shows two children and their mother seated, silently watching Biden, with the sound of the in-store music heard quite clearly over the small talk by Biden and the supporter. There were no cheers, no chants of “Four more years!” Just muzak. With few supporters to talk to, Biden was in and out in just two minutes according to the pool report.

Video of Biden, accompanied by Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Ed Gainey (D) and Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato (D) was posted by WTAE-TV reporter Bob Mayo, who noted the store was given ten minutes’ notice on the visit and that Biden picked up an order of mostly turkey subs for construction workers at his next visit.

Complete video of the two-minute visit by Biden posted by C-SPAN’s Howard Mortman:

The pool report says Biden posed for photos with customers and staff. Biden also repeated his lame ‘don’t jump’ joke to a reporter standing on a chair:

“Motorcade pulled into a Sheetz gas station mart for an OTR at 3:32 pm. POTUS, wearing aviators, entered the shop at 3:36, and was Immediately talking to customers and posing for a selfie. Then he went to the food counter, handed over some bills, picked up takeout bags. Went behind counter to pose for pics w employees. A reporter shouted: “Are you concerned the new steel tariffs will hurt your relationship with Xi Jinping?” “No!” He said. “Why not?” The reporter asked, standing on a chair. “Don’t jump!” He said. POTUS exited the store at 3:38. An aide walked behind him carrying a box of snacks. We are rolling again at 3:42.”

Photos of the Biden visit were posted by reporters:
