Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei released a letter this week to American college students who staged campus protests against Israel and the United States after the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas, praising their protests as part of an international “Resistance Front” and encouraging them to “become familiar with the Quran.” The Islamist regime in Tehran is a state sponsor of terrorism and main supporter of Hamas.
The campus protests, held mainly at expensive elite colleges and universities with a large foreign student body, were a joint effort of communist and Islamist groups fomenting hatred of Israel and Jews, and revolution in the United States.
Many of the campus occupation encampments featured daily calls to Islamic prayer sessions and Marxist indoctrination chants.
Khamenei’s letter is a bold effort to by the Iranian government to openly foment revolution within the United States in the face of a weak, appeasing Joe Biden.

I am writing this letter to the young people whose awakened conscience has moved them to defend the oppressed women and children of Gaza.
Dear university students in the United States of America, this message is an expression of our empathy and solidarity with you. As the page of history is turning, you are standing on the right side of it.
You have now formed a branch of the Resistance Front and have begun an honorable struggle in the face of your government’s ruthless pressure—a government which openly supports the usurper and brutal Zionist regime.
The greater Resistance Front which shares the same understandings and feelings that you have today, has been engaged in the same struggle for many years in a place far from you. The support and solidarity of your professors is a significant and consequential development. The Quran’s lesson for us Muslims and all of humanity, is to stand up for that which is right: “So be steadfast as you have been commanded” (11:112).
The Quran’s lesson for human relations is: “Do not oppress and do not be oppressed” (2:279).
The Resistance Front advances by a comprehensive understanding and the practice of these and hundreds of other such commands – and will attain victory with the permission of God.

Justice Samuel Alito refused a demand by Democrat senators that he recuse himself from any Supreme Court cases involving the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot, Trump immunity and 2020 election over flags flown at his residential and vacation homes.
Democrat Senators Dick Durbin (IL), the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (RI), Subcommittee on Federal Corts chairman, had written to Chief Justice John Roberts on May 23 demanding he force Alito to recuse from the cases.
Alito’s letter goes into detail about his wife flying an upside-down American flag at their Northern Virginia home in January 2021 over a dispute with her liberal neighbors neighbors. The dispute has gone on for years, with the neighbors protesting in front of Alito’s home after the June 2022 Dobbs decision returning abortion laws to the states.
The Alito letter also described his wife’s flying an ‘Appeal to Heaven’ Revolutionary War flag at their family vacation home on Long Beach Island, New Jersey in the summer of 2023.
The flag flying controversy was manufactured by the New York Times in what has become a traditional liberal springtime offensive on Republican nominees on the court. The Washington Post had asked Mrs. Alito about the upside-down flag in 2021 and determined it was not a story as it was a dispute between Mrs. Alito and her neighbors.

considering whether this event requires recusal, an unbiased and reasonable person would take into account the following facts. As I have stated publicly, I had nothing whatsoever to do with the flying of that flag. I was not even aware of the upside- down flag until it was called to my attention. As soon as I saw it, I asked my wife to take it down, but for several days, she refused.
My wife and I own our Virginia home jointly. She therefore has the legal right to use the property as she sees fit, and there were no additional steps that I could have taken to have the flag taken down more promptly.
My wife’s reasons for flying the flag are not relevant for present purposes, but I note that she was greatly distressed at the time due, in large part, to a very nasty neighborhood dispute in which I had no involvement. A house on the street displayed a sign attacking her personally, and a man who was living in the house at the time trailed her all the way down the street and berated her in my presence using foul language, including what I regard as the vilest epithet that can be addressed to a woman.
My wife is a private citizen, and she possesses the same First Amendment, rights as every other American. She makes her own decisions, and I have always respected her right to do so. She has made many sacrifices to accommodate my service on the Supreme Court, including the insult of having to endure numerous, loud, obscene, and personally insulting protests in front of our home that continue to this day and now threaten to escalate.
I am confident that a reasonable person who is not motivated by political or ideological considerations or a desire to affect the outcome of Supreme Court cases would conclude that the events recounted above do not meet the applicable standard for recusal. I am therefore required to reject your request.
The second incident concerns a flag bearing the legend “An Appeal to Heaven” that flew in the backyard of our vacation home in the summer of 2023. I recall that my wife did fly that flag for some period of time, but I do not remember how long it flew. And what is most relevant here, I had no involvement in the decision to fly that flag.
My wife is fond of flying flags. I am not. My wife was solely responsible for having flagpoles put up at our residence and our vacation home and has flown a wide variety of flags over the years. In addition to the American flag, she has flown other patriotic flags (including a favorite flag thanking veterans), college flags, flags supporting sports teams, state and local flags, flags of nations from which the ancestors of family members came, flags of places we have visited, seasonal flags, and religious flags. 1 was not familiar with the “Appeal to Heaven” flag when my wife flew it. She may have mentioned that t dates back to the American Revolution, and T assumed she was flying it to express a religious and patriotic message. I was not aware of any connection between this historic flag and the “Stop the Steal Movement,” group, and the use of an old historic flag by a new group does not necessarily drain that flag of all other meanings.
As T said in reference to the other flag event, my wife is an independently ‘minded private citizen. She makes her own decisions, and I honor her right to do so. Our vacation home was purchased with money she inherited from her parents and is titled in her name. It is a place, away from Washington, where she should be able to relax.A reasonable person who is not motivated by political or ideological considerations or a desire to affect the outcome of Supreme Court cases would conclude that this event does not meet the applicable standard for recusal. Iam therefore duty-bound to reject your recusal request.

On Wednesday, the New York Times reported Alito’s hateful neighbors called police on Mrs. Alito (excerpt):
The police in Fairfax County, Va., received an unusual phone call on Feb. 15, 2021. A young couple claimed they were being harassed by the wife of a Supreme Court justice.
“Somebody in a position of authority needs to talk to her and make her stop,” said the 36-year-old man making the complaint, according to a recording of the call reviewed by The New York Times. The officer on the line responded that there was little the police could do: Yelling was not a crime.
The couple placed the call after a series of encounters with Martha-Ann Alito, wife of Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., that had gone from uneasy to ugly. That day, Emily Baden, whose boyfriend (now husband) contacted the police, had traded accusations with Mrs. Alito, who lived down the street. In a recent interview, Ms. Baden admitted to calling her a lewd epithet.

Outlier or trend predictor? Mark Mitchell with Rasmussen Reports revealed initial results of a recent poll (yet to be published) that shows President Trump leading Joe Biden among Black voters in both head-to-head and five-way matchups. Mitchell told Steve Bannon on the War Room Tuesday morning that Trump leads Biden by one point, 39 percent to 38 percent in a one-on-one matchup. Trump takes an astonishing lead of 43 percent to 31 percent in a five-way matchup with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr garnering 12 percent support among Black Voters.

Mitchell said the questions were asked as part of a monthly immigration survey sponsored by NumbersUSA. The previous survey had Biden leading Trump among Black voters 61 percent to 21 percent. Mitchell noted that subset polling can be off and that the numbers could swing the other way next month. Last month’s Rasmussen numbers were matched by a recent New York Times/Siena College poll that showed Biden leading Trump 66 percent to 23 percent among Black voters, a substantial improvement from the 2020 election where Biden topped Trump among Black voters 87 percent to 12 percent.
Mitchell also said that among 18 to 39 year-olds, Trump leads Biden by 3 points in a two-way, five points in a five-way matchup without giving specifics.

Joe Biden’s $320 million floating pier built to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza took another blow early Saturday when heavy waves sent four U.S. Army vessels servicing the pier adrift, with two ending up beached on the Israeli coast. No injuries were reported and the pier is reported to be functioning. The incident follows a report from earlier this week in which three servicemembers working the pier sustained non-combat injuries with one hospitalized in critical condition. News reports state little of the aid from the pier is reaching Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Statement by Centcom released Saturday morning:
This morning (Gaza time), four U.S. Army vessels supporting the maritime humanitarian aid mission in Gaza were affected by heavy sea states.
The vessels broke free from their moorings and two vessels are now anchored on the beach near the pier. The third and fourth vessels are beached on the coast of Israel near Ashkelon. Efforts to recover the vessels are under way with assistance from the Israeli Navy.
The IDF is supporting the recovery efforts near the pier. No U.S. personnel will enter Gaza. No injuries have been reported and the pier remains fully functional. We will release additional details as they become available.

Two days ago the New York Times reported Biden’s pier effort to deliver aid to Gaza is “struggling” (excerpt):

The Pentagon predicted that a stream of humanitarian aid would be arriving in Gaza via the floating pier, but little relief has reached the besieged strip, officials acknowledged this week.In the week since the U.S. military and allies attached a temporary pier to the Gaza shoreline, Pentagon planners have come face to face with the logistical nightmare that critics had warned would accompany the endeavor.
The Defense Department predicted that a steady stream of humanitarian aid would be arriving in Gaza via the pier by now, but little relief has reached Palestinians in the besieged strip, officials acknowledged this week. Several trucks were looted as they made their way to a warehouse, the U.N. World Food Program said, and the complexity of operating the pier project in a war zone is continuing to slow distribution.
The problems, as expected, are on the back end of the operation. Looting of aid trucks has continued, officials said, and forced the World Food Program to suspend operations for two days. The U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, suspended food distribution in Rafah on Tuesday, citing lack of security. It added that it had not received any medical supplies for 10 days because of closures and disruptions at the Rafah and Kerem Shalom border crossings.
The project was always expected to be difficult. For one thing, White House policy does not allow U.S. troops to be on the ground in Gaza. So the Pentagon has the ability to start but not finish the mission, a situation one military analyst likened to having the engine of a car but not the wheels.

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a motion Friday night demanding President Trump’s condition of release in the classified documents case be modified to include barring him from criticizing law enforcement for authorizing deadly force in the August 8, 2022 raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida in a search for disputed alleged classified documents from Trump’s presidency. Trump reacted to the news of the deadly force authorization on Tuesday by saying the government had plans to kill him.

The Government moves to modify defendant Donald J. Trump’s conditions of release, to
make clear that he may not make statements that pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable
danger to law enforcement agents participating in the investigation and prosecution of this case.1The Government’s request is necessary because of several intentionally false and inflammatory

of Investigation planned and executed the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago.
Smith complained in a footnote that Trump had reposted a meme on Truth Social Friday:

They do not believe that there is any imminent danger, and asked to meet and confer next Monday. The authorization of deadly force, along with contingency plans for a shootout at Mar-a-Lago that included having a medical team on scene and a nearby shock trauma hospital on standby, was unsealed Tuesday by the Judge Aileen Cannon and first reported by Julie Kelly.
The FBI and Attorney General Merrick Garland have claimed this was standard procedure for a search warrant but have yet to explain why the government was prepared for a bloodbath at Trump’s home over a document dispute.

“Trump’s repeated mischaracterization of these facts in widely distributed messages as an attempt to kill him, his family, and Secret Service agents has endangered law enforcement officers involved in the investigation and prosecution of this case and threatened the integrity of these proceedings,” prosecutors told Cannon, who was nominated to the bench by Trump.
“A restriction prohibiting future similar statements does not restrict legitimate speech,” they said.

Prosecutors say Trump’s lawyers told them they are against a restriction on his ability to comment about law enforcement who worked on the investigation, and they opposed the special counsel’s office responding to Trump’s recent remarks to the court late Friday of Memorial Day weekend.
“They do not believe that there is any imminent danger, and asked to meet and confer next Monday,” prosecutors added in the filing.
Prosecutors noted that Trump has been amplifying accusations about the FBI in the search on his Truth Social account Friday.

In a move straight out of the Antifa playbook, a staffer for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) attacked a Fox News reporter and cameraman with an umbrella as the reporter, Chad Pergram, tried to ask questions of Tlaib as she walked to the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. The weather was dry and partly sunny.
The staffer first unfurled a blue and white umbrella in Pergram’s face, which he pushed away with the microphone in his hand. Pergram raced around Tlaib’s back to her other side to continue questioning her. The staffer tried and failed to catch up to Pergram and then chose to attack the cameraman with the umbrella.
Pergram was trying ask Tlaib about the invitation to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress issued by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) with the support of Democrat leadership. Palestinian-American Tlaib is a Hamas sympathizer whose parents immigrated from the West Bank.
Pergram asked Tlaib if she would attend or protest the speech. Tlaib said, “inviting a war criminal is…shameful,” as her staffer attacked the cameraman with the umbrella.

President Trump responded Tuesday to reports Joe Biden’s Justice Department authorized deadly force in the FBI raid on his Palm Beach, Florida home Mar-a-Lago in the classified documents case on August 8, 2022. Trump posted a response on Truth Social saying Biden is a “serious threat to democracy” and called for the invocation of the 25th Amendment against Biden. A comment posted in Trump’s name in a campaign email said:

Joe Biden is releasing one million barrels of gasoline from the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve in a bid to reduce prices as summer driving season begins (and the November presidential election draws nearer.) The timing is similar to Biden’s a 2022 sale of millions of barrels of oil from the nation’s Strategic Petroleum reserve that sought to drive down prices before that year’s midterm elections that has left the reserves dangerously low with Biden slow-walking efforts to refill it.

As TGP reported last month, gasoline prices were up 18 percent this year.
Last Friday the Energy Department announced the awarding of contracts to buy 3.3 million barrels of oil in October at an average price of $79.38 (excerpt):
…the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Petroleum Reserves announced that contracts have been awarded for the acquisition of 3.3 million barrels of U.S.-produced crude oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). The contracts awarded today represent a fully subscribed solicitation for October delivery following the Request for Proposal (RFP) that was announced on May 7, 2024. The 3.3 million barrels are being purchased for an average price of $79.38, well below the average of about $95 per barrel that SPR crude was sold for in 2022, securing a good deal for taxpayers. To date, DOE has purchased a total of 35.6 million barrels of oil for the SPR for an average price of $77.18 as well as accelerated nearly 4 million barrels of exchange returns, pursuant to its strategy to refill the SPR. DOE will continue to evaluate options to refill the SPR while securing a good deal for taxpayers, taking into account planned exchange returns and market developments.

…To recap, the SPR is maintained by the U.S. Department of Energy, and its oil stocks are stored in huge underground salt caverns at four sites along the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico. The size of the SPR (authorized storage capacity of 714 million barrels) makes it a significant deterrent to oil import cutoffs and a key tool in foreign policy.
After Russia invaded Ukraine, the Biden Administration made the largest withdrawal in SPR history in an effort to curb the oil price spikes that happened in the wake of the invasion. Between Biden’s inauguration in 2021 and mid-2023, 291 million barrels were sold from the SPR. That 46% reduction took SPR volumes to a level last seen in 1983.
Since hitting a low level of 347 million barrels in June 2023, the Biden Administration has returned about 14 million barrels of the 291 million removed (4.8%).

MAY 21, 2024WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Petroleum Reserves announced a solicitation for the sale and liquidation of 1 million barrels (42 million gallons) of gasoline in the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve (NGSR). This solicitation is strategically timed and structured to maximize its impact on gasoline prices, helping to lower prices at the pump as Americans hit the road this summer.
“The Biden-Harris Administration is laser focused on lowering prices at the pump for American families, especially as drivers hit the road for summer driving season,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm. “By strategically releasing this reserve in between Memorial Day and July 4th, we are ensuring sufficient supply flows to the tri-state and northeast at a time hardworking Americans need it the most.”
The awarded entities, likely made up of retailers and terminals, from this sale will have the fuel transferred or delivered no later than June 30, 2024, just in time for the July 4 holiday. In 2024, in accordance with the Consolidated Appropriations Act, DOE will sell close to 1 million barrels of gasoline from the following NGSR storage sites:
Port Reading, NJ (900,000 bbl)
South Portland, ME (98,824 bbl)The volumes will be allocated in quantities of 100,000 barrels. This approach will ensure a competitive bidding process that both fuel retailers and terminal holders can participate in – ensuring this product can flow into local retailers ahead of the Fourth of July 4 holiday and that it will be sold at competitive prices, helping lower costs for American families and consumers.
Bids for the solicitation are due no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Time on May 28, 2024. Revenues from the sale will be deposited to the Treasury.
The sale of this Government controlled stock will release nearly 1 million barrels (42 million gallons) of gasoline blendstock into the commercial market for use at their discretion. Contracts resulting from this sale shall be subject to contract price adjustment as set forth in the Supplements and Amendments to the Standard Sales Provisions (SSP).

The Northeast Gasoline Supply reserve was set up by the Obama administration in 2014 after Superstorm Sandy devastated the northeast in 2012.
Congress mandated the reserve be sold off and closed as part of a budget deal this year. The AP reports an analyst saying the gasoline reserve made little sense to begin with (excerpt):
…The move, which the department said is intended to help “lower costs for American families and consumers,″ follows a mandate from Congress to sell off the 10-year-old Northeast reserve and then close it. The language was included in a spending deal Congress approved in March to avert a partial government shutdown.
…Congressional Republicans have long criticized the Northeast reserve, which was established by former President Barack Obama, saying any such stockpile should have been created by Congress. A 2022 report by the Government Accountability Office said the gasoline reserve, which has never been tapped, would provide minimal relief during a severe shortage. The reserve costs about $19 million a year to maintain.
Patrick De Haan, an analyst for GasBuddy, said sale of the Northeast reserve would have little impact on gasoline prices nationally, although there “may be a slight downward pressure on prices” in the Northeast. The million-barrel reserve only amounts to about 2.7 hours of total U.S. gasoline consumption, he said.
“As an analyst, this reserve never really made a whole lot of sense to have,’’ De Haan said in an Associated Press interview. The reserve is very small and must be frequently rotated, “because gasoline has a shelf life,’’ De Haan said. “That’s why there’s really no nation that has an emergency stockpile of gasoline’’ other than the U.S.
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve has vastly more quantities of oil needed in an emergency, he said.

President Trump blasted Joe Biden in a Truth Social post early Thursday after Biden threatened to withhold offensive weapons (bombs and artillery shells) to Israel over Israel’s plans to invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah to finish off Hamas in the terror group’s last stronghold. Biden is opposed to the military incursion by Israel because he says Palestinian civilians will be killed. Biden also confirmed that he has withheld a shipment of 2,000 lb. bombs to Israel.

Pro-Palestinian protesters were spray-painted by a contractor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio early Tuesday morning as they stood in front of a campus Spirit Wall that had been hijacked by Hamas supporters who had painted it over with anti-Israel messages. The protesters, who wore clear plastic face shields, stood directly in front of the wall in an effort to prevent the contractors from doing their job. A pro-Hamas encampment at CWRU is now in its second week.
Video posted by the school’s Students for Justice in Palestine group shows one of the contractors spray-painting the protesters, with one covered in white paint. The group posted the video to Instagram with the message in nearly all caps, “AROUND 5 AM THIS MORNING, STUDENTS WERE SPRAYED WITH PAINT WHILE CONTRACTORS CALLED BY CWRU ATTEMPTED TO COVER THE SPIRIT WALL. THEY LATER CAME CLOSER TO NOON AND COVERED THE ENTIRE WALL WITH PAINT. THE STUDENTS FOLLOWED THE SPIRIT WALL POSTING POLICY, AND ADMIN STILL HAD A PROBLEM. The lengths this university goes to defend Zionist Genocidal interests is insane.”

To the Case Western Reserve community:Earlier today, I wrote to you noting that the university was investigating an incident in which an individual who was painting over protesters’ writings on the Spirit Wall hit student protesters with paint. I have reviewed video footage, which depicts students blocking the wall as a third-party contractor spray painted directly onto protesters as he attempted to finish painting the wall, and I am disturbed by what occurred.
Let me be clear: No students—or any individuals—should ever be treated this way, especially on a campus where our core values center on providing a safe, welcoming environment. This is not who we are as an institution, and I am deeply sorry this ever occurred.
The university will continue to fully investigate these actions and hold individuals responsible for this behavior, including the failure of our own officers to intervene.

As I have repeatedly noted, constructive, meaningful exchanges should never involve harassment, incitement, or behavior that threatens and is intimidating to our community. I strongly condemn the language posted yesterday on the advocacy wall, and want to reiterate to our entire community that such language—no matter to whom it is directed—will not be tolerated on our campus.
After defacing the advocacy wall, later in the evening, the protesters painted the spirit wall near Thwing Center with language that was less threatening but still intimidating to some in our community. The university has painted over the advocacy wall and will complete painting over the spirit wall this morning. The university is investigating an incident in which one or more protesters blocking the spirit wall were hit by paint.
The students involved in yesterday’s advocacy wall painting and those who continue to break university policy by remaining in an unapproved encampment on private property will be held fully accountable for their actions through the conduct process. Any faculty and staff members who take part in activities that violate the freedom of expression policy—which this encampment does—also will be required to go through a conduct process. The actions of all participants, whether within or outside the CWRU community, may also be in violation of criminal or civil law.
I understand and appreciate the importance of advocating for a cause that is deeply personal and undeniably tragic, as the Israel-Hamas war and the resulting loss of lives are in Israel and Gaza. But advocacy for a cause is most persuasive when it goes back to those core values upon which Case Western Reserve operates, with responsibility, civility and ethical behavior among them. I urge the student protesters to remove the encampment and begin the student conduct process.

In light of the recent video that surfaced from the CWRU campus, which displays individuals being painted over with spray paint, it is crucial that we express our stance unambiguously.
Cleveland is a city for everyone, and we must respect the thoughts, feelings, and voices of those who come from various backgrounds. These diverse perspectives are what makes us special, and ultimately stronger, as a city. Our community deserves venues where they have the ability to constitutionally-express their opinions openly without fear of criminal interference. We support 1st Amendment rights and implore CWRU leadership to consider this and think about how the decisions they make and the actions they take – especially against those who are abiding by the law – will influence some of the progress we have collectively made as a city. At the same time, we urge individuals to demonstrate peacefully.
We want to be clear in that we condemn all forms of violence and the Division of Police stands ready to offer support should that occur. Public safety has been and always will be our number one priority.

WOIO also reported a student protester named Raissa complaining about the incident:
“It was a pressurized paint gun spraying harmful chemicals with carcinogens and toxins directly with no concern for health or the well-being of an individual who is paying to be here,” said Raissa.
“We had some students talking to the police like how can they do this. The painters were like were following orders. The police said we’re following orders from higher administrative and I guess they didn’t think of the morality of what they were doing,” said Raissa.

The statue of George Washington at George Washington University located just blocks from the White House is still being desecrated by communist-Islamist revolutionaries who took over University Yard (U-Yard) during a campus riot late last week, only now the Palestinian terrorist (keffiyeh) totally covers Washington’s face, making him look like an Islamist terrorist.
On Wednesday, protesters surrounded Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) when she tried to remove the Palestinian flag from the George Washington Statue, preventing her from removing the flag. Apparently none of the GOP members with her tried to help her liberate the statue. The Congressmen were on campus for a meeting with administrators and to hold a photo-op at U-Yard.

On Wednesday, several Republican members of Congress went to U-Yard after meeting with GWU administrators, reported the GW Hatchet (excerpt):
Six Republican members of the House of Representatives Oversight Committee visited the pro-Palestinian encampment in University Yard on Wednesday, where they called on D.C. officials to arrest protesters involved in the demonstration.
Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), William Timmons (R-SC), Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Eric Burlison (R-MO) met with GW officials, walked through the encampment and then held a press conference on H Street where they lambasted D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and local police for reportedly rejecting GW’s request to clear the encampment. The members’ visit comes after the committee called on Bowser and MPD Chief Pamela Smith on Wednesday to testify next week following their reported refusal to sweep U-Yard and H Street.
Students from eight D.C. universities, including GW, have camped in U-Yard for a week to protest the war in Gaza and call for their universities’ divestment from Israel and protection of pro-Palestinian students…
…Boebert also tried to remove a Palestinian flag wrapped around the George Washington statue at the front of U-Yard while walking through the encampment.
“It is private property, and this is America, and this should come down,” Boebert said to protesters near the flag before walking away.
