2024 Voters Say They TRUST Trump More Than Biden to Handle America’s Biggest Issues as President

President Trump speaks to supporters in Waukesha, Wisconsin on May 1, 2024.

The majority of Donald Trump supporters do not care if the former president is convicted of a crime by the corrupt legal system.

When casting their ballots in November, Americans place economy, inflation, and crime at the top of their lists.

The Daily Mail reports,

A new ABC News/Ipsos survey released on Sunday shows 88 percent of voters place the economy at the top of their list of issues when they head to the ballot box this fall – and Trump is favored by 14 percent to handle the issue over President Joe Biden.

Eighty-five percent of voters also say inflation is important to them in this year’s election and crime and safety comes in third place with 77 percent of voters claiming it is a top issue.

On nearly every election issue in the top 10, voters say they trust Trump more than Biden to handle it.

Additionally, 80 percent of Trump supporters say they would still cast their ballot for the former president if he is convicted before the election, the latest poll reveals

2024 Vote preference
ABC News / IPSOS Poll

Following a trial in Manhattan court for three weeks in which Trump was accused of falsifying business records related to payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged extramarital affair in 2006, the latest results come after three weeks of Trump’s appearances in court.

Only four percent of Trump supporters say they would no longer support Trump in the 2024 presidential election if the Republican is convicted in any of the four federal cases against him.

And 16 percent say they would at least reconsider supporting him.

Among the 2,260 American adults polled April 25-30, 44 percent say they would vote for Biden compared to the 46 percent for Trump. This means that the four percent of Trump supporters who would abandon the former president if convicted of a crime could be statistically significant to the results in November.

Trump and Biden have been nearly tied in most recent polls, with margins of victory in hypothetical head-to-head matches usually falling within the survey’s margin of error.

However, the ABC News poll shows that Americans are becoming more optimistic about Trump’s ability to deal with issues that matter.

This includes a 17 percent gap on those who trust Trump to handle the border and immigration over Biden and a 14 percent gap on handling both the economy in general and, more specifically, inflation.

Trump beats Biden by eight percent of crime and safety and the same gap exists on handling the Israel/Hamas war.

Let’s pray the country can hang on until November 5th.

Teen Charged as Adult After He Attacks Two Teachers in School

High schools used to be safer back in the day. Something has changed.

Prosecutors say a high schooler in North Carolina is being charged as an adult for allegedly attacking two separate teachers on school grounds.

The New York Post reports,

Aquavis Hickman, 17, a student at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, was indicted on assault and kidnapping charges last week and charged as a grownup in the two horrific attacks, including an April 15 assault where he slapped a female teacher twice, Fox affiliate WGHP-TV News reported.

“Our message to our community is simple,” Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neill told the outlet. “We stand with teachers. We will fight to protect those teachers. And if you lay a hand on a teacher and assault a teacher, you can expect that the punishment will be swift and severe.

“Promise made,” O’Neill said as he announced the indictment Thursday. “Promise kept.”

Hickman was charged with kidnapping and misdemeanor riot in the first incident on Feb. 1, although prosecutors said he was not the sole attacker.

The substitute teacher, Larry Edwards, said he was “appalled” after being pushed in the hallway by several students, including Hickman.

“I walked up to the desk to get my phone to call the office and he mockingly walked behind me, and I happened to turn around and see him and the students started laughing,” Edwards said in a report last week. “The next thing I know he had taken his hand and smushed my head and everybody started laughing and he ran out.”

Aquavis Hickman, 17, was caught on video walking up to a teacher at his North Carolina high school on April 15.

It was revealed last month that the aggressive teenager smacked the female teacher twice, with video of the attack later going viral – though cops didn’t release it.

“That video went viral nationwide and it put us on the map in a negative manner,” Winston-Salem Police Chief William Penn told the outlet. “I am so glad today that the rest of the nation will also hear that we do not tolerate that in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.”

A grand jury voted last week to indict the teen, transferring the case from juvenile court to Superior Court.

Officials from the district declined to comment on the case or Hickman’s arrest.

Hip Hop Mogul Says R. Kelly Doesn’t Deserve To Stay In Prison For Sexually Assaulting Minors

Benzino/ Vlad TV- YouTube

The well-known Source magazine founder and rapper Benzino, who also appeared on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop, believes R. Kelly has been mistreated after being sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2022 for sex trafficking minors.

On Wednesday, the media mogul spoke about redemption in relation to black male artists who have sexual relations with girls under the age of consent during an appearance on the We In Miami podcast.

Benzino says R. Kelly deserves a second chance: “The legal age is 16 but he’s doing all this time because they’re two years younger” pic.twitter.com/dPGIlNGJHg

— SAY CHEESE! (@SaycheeseDGTL) May 1, 2024

HipHopDx reports,

“Everybody deserves a second chance,” he said when asked about the Chicago native. “The legal age is 16 years old, so does that make it right if a n-gga does it, yes or no?”

When the women around the table all collectively agreed that it’s still wrong, he continued: “Alright, but it’s legal in America, so why the fuck is R. Kelly doing all this time? Because you know why? Because they’re 14 and 13 — two years younger — but you don’t think that the people who cleared it for 16 years old didn’t know that they’re fucking with 13s and 14s, too.

“Like even to make [an] age that young to be the law, you already know they’re going under that. I’m not condoning n-ggas fucking with little girls — it’s sick, alright, it’s sick, it’s sick — but I don’t think R. Kelly should rot in jail for 30 years either.”

Side Note: For many years, I have talked about how hip-hop and gang culture prey on teenage boys and girls. This industry sees a broken human and exploits that wound by dangling a carrot of “getting out of the hood” when it’s really a door to glorified sex work and pornography.

The 58-year-old added: “What about R. Kelly getting molested when he was a kid? They didn’t take [that into] consideration […] They exploited him and made all these documentaries that all these people made money off of.

“Them parents of them girls knew what they were dealing with, with R. Kelly — a lot of people knew that shit, y’know what I’m saying? — but R. Kelly wasn’t educated, man. Like when does that come in play?

See what I mean?

Additionally, Boosie Badazz, another well-known, established black male rapper, was upset over Kelly’s three-decade sentence. Though he conceded the R&B veteran did wrong and deserves time in jail, the Baton Rouge rapper also argued his crimes did not warrant such a lengthy sentence.

Boosie Badazz is most known for his affiliation with Lil Wayne’s record label, Cash Money Records, which is owned and operated by Birdman.

“People getting 15/20 years for murder n he get 30!!” he tweeted. “Yes he was wrong af for manipulating young girls n sexing them but he didn’t kill anyone, aggravated rape anyone .N no blame on the parents who knew everything. Resentence this man!! College professors get probation for this shit.

“Get this man some help n some jail time but don’t give him a death sentence ,30 years !!Maybe he can one get out one day n warn these young girls about older predators n make a difference ?but 30 years like Come on world!!”

He even pointed the finger at the parents of Kelly’s victims, posting a screenshot of a court document that alleged one of the underage girls’ mother “engineered [her] relationship” with the singer and “actively misled [him] about her age.”

It’s rather interesting right before an election, two extremely prominent hip-hop figures have come out in support of sexual misconduct with minors.

Could someone have paid the owner of Source Magazine to randomly come out and say he thinks sex with minors is not that bad? His daughter has now disowned him over his statements.

I am asking these questions because with all the Diddy news coming out, you would think black men in the hip-hop industry would be walking a fine line and not want to appear to sympathize with sex trafficking.

There Will Be A Surge In Audits, According To The IRS

IRS/CBS News

Due to the Biden administration’s significant funding boost, the Internal Revenue Service plans to dramatically increase audit procedures for big corporations, partnerships, and multimillionaires over the next three years.

In a recent press release, the IRS said it aims to nearly triple its audit rate to 22.6% for corporations with upwards of $250 million worth of assets in the 2026 tax year.

Audits in 2019 were 8.8%, a steep decrease over the 9.0% in 2018.

The New York Post reports,

For complex partnerships with assets topping $10 million, the IRS said it intends to increase audit rates nearly 10-fold, to 1% in tax year 2026 — up from 0.1% in 2019.

The IRS also said it is targeting a 50% increase in audit rates for individuals with a total positive annual income exceeding $10 million.

By the 2026 tax year, 16.5% of these wealthy individuals will be subject to an audit — up from 11% in 2019.

Why did I leave the IRS? In 2017, they took away my stack of rich person audits and gave me a stack of poor people audits. I couldn’t stomach auditing poor people. My health collapsed. I tried to keep going, but finally after weekly hospital visits I quit. #taxtwitter

— Howard Knudsen CPA (@howard_knudsen) May 3, 2024

In a blatant display of leftist pandering, the IRS has shamelessly revealed that it won’t dare to hike up audit rates for hardworking individuals and small businesses making under $400,000. While it sounds nice, this plan fits right in with President Biden’s socialist agenda of coddling the masses and punishing achievement. It’s just another step towards the destruction of our economy and the disintegration of Christian values.

As the owner of a #SmallBiz, you understand the importance of getting things right for your employees. #IRS changes made under the SECURE 2.0 Act may affect the amounts you need to report on your Forms W-2. For details: https://t.co/0p1uW7P4cx

— IRSnews (@IRSnews) May 2, 2024

The federal agency was bolstered by $80 billion in new funding directed by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which Biden signed into law in 2022.

When the IRS conducts an audit, individuals or heads of businesses must meet with an auditor, who then reviews that a federal tax return was filed correctly. The official may ask for additional documentation to support the claims like reductions and credits cited in the return.

If there’s discrepancies, consequences can include tax evasion charges, which carry a civil fraud penalty of 75% of the understated tax and in the worst cases, the possibility of jail time.

The forthcoming changes were outlined as part of the IRS’s update on its so-called “strategic operating plan” in funding from the Inflation Reduction Act, which vowed to modernize the IRS’s antiquated computer systems, improve taxpayer services and ramp up enforcement to close the “tax gap” between taxes owed and those collected.

According to the IRS, a total of $7.25 billion will be spent from these funds in fiscal 2024, up from $3.4 billion last year.

“The changes outlined in this report are a stark contrast to the years of under-funding that deteriorated taxpayer service and tax enforcement, frustrating taxpayers, the tax community and IRS employees alike,” IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel said in a statement.

With Inflation Reduction Act funds, the IRS hired 13,661 employees in fiscal 2023, including 10,518 taxpayer services employees and 495 enforcement personnel.

The number of hires is expected to increase to 16,314 in fiscal 2024, including 4,088 enforcement personnel.

A US Military Force is Preparing To Withdraw From a Troubled African Nation

WION YouTube

U.S. troops are being removed from Niger by the Biden administration, but no timeline has been announced.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, a U.S. defense official confirmed the removal process had begun, indicating that talks between the U.S. and Niger related to the “orderly removal” of troops had kicked off.

“We can confirm the beginning of discussions between the U.S. and Niger for the orderly withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country,” the official said.

According to the Fox News report, neither the official nor the U.S. Africa Command provided a timeline for troop removal.

The official did not provide a timeline for when troops would be removed from the West African country, but noted that individuals from the Pentagon and the U.S. Africa Command would be engaged in the conversations related to the removal process.

“The DoD is providing a small delegation from the Pentagon and U.S. Africa Command to participate in the discussions. In terms of departure timing, we do not want to speculate and get ahead of the planning discussions,” the official said.

The planned departure, which some experts view as a blow to Washington and its allies in the region in terms of staging security operations in the Sahel, comes as U.S. officials said they were trying to find a new military agreement.

Niger plays a central role in the U.S. military’s operations in Africa’s Sahel region, an area on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Washington is concerned about the spread of jihadi violence, where local groups have pledged allegiance to al-Qaida and the Islamic State groups.

Agadez, about 550 miles from the capital Niamey, is home to one of Africa’s largest U.S. air bases. During its operation, the air base has been used for manned and unmanned surveillance flights and other operations. In addition, the U.S. has spent hundreds of millions of dollars training the Niger military ever since 2013.

It seems that Africa no longer tolerates US troops on its soil. Chad has become the latest to demand that US troops, which are stationed at the Adji Kossei Air Base, leave. Niger earlier asked American forces to leave the country pic.twitter.com/31SpZZHWx1

— RT (@RT_com) April 20, 2024

However relations have frayed between Niger and Western countries since mutinous soldiers ousted the country’s democratically elected president in July. Niger’s junta has since told French forces to leave and turned instead to Russia for security. Earlier this month, Russian military trainers arrived to reinforce the country’s air defenses and with Russian equipment to train Nigeriens to use.

There was an attempt on the behalf of the U.S. to revise the military agreement with Niger that would allow them to stay, U.S. officials told The Associated Press. However, the agreement between Ali Lamine Zeine, Niger’s prime minister, and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell shows that the effort has failed.

The loss of access to air bases in Niger is a major setback for the U.S. and its allies in the region because of its strategic location for security operations in the Sahel, Peter Pham, the former U.S. special envoy for the Sahel region, said, according to The Associated Press.

Teacher Threatens to ‘Shoot Up’ Preschool in Nashville

Police have arrested a Tennessee teacher for allegedly threatening to shoot a colleague at her preschool.

Sheneca Cowart was arrested and charged with assault, threat of mass violence at a school, and two counts of carrying a weapon to a school following Thursday’s incident at The Academy of McCrory Lane.

NBC News reports,

Authorities took Cowart into custody after witnesses said she threatened to “retrieve a firearm and made threats against another teacher and the school after an argument,” the Metro Nashville Police Department said.

Staff members alleged 29-year-old Cowart threatened to “shoot up” the preschool and that she keeps a gun “on her,” according to NBC News affiliate WSMV.

Another teacher claimed to overhear Cowart say “when I start shooting, you better run,” prompting the preschool to go into lockdown, WSMV reported.

The police department recovered one handgun from Cowart’s purse and another firearm in the driver’s side door of her vehicle.

Cowart was held on a $37,000 bond before being released from jail the same night.

Cowart’s arrest has inevitably sparked the gun rights conversation and sparked Democrats to pander to their base that they will “act.”

A teacher accused of threatening to shoot up a Nashville preschool has some parents questioning whether arming teachers is a good idea.

“We’ve done nothing, unfortunately, and we are just in the mode waiting for the next tragedy, and hopefully, after the next tragedy, we will act,” state Rep. Bo Mitchell (D-Nashville) said.

This news comes as a bill allowing armed teachers in public schools moves through Tennessee’s legislature.

Sharika Soal: Racism Isn’t the Issue; Ghetto Culture Is.

Let’s talk about Mayor Tiffany Henyard of Thorton Township, Illinois, and the media finally noticing that fighting white supremacy will not stop ghetto black men from attacking women and children.

The wildest thing I discovered this week after reading the news reports on the attacks in New York was that one of the attackers is famous on TikTok.

Famous for what you ask? Stalking women on camera of all races and attacking them or screaming aggressive explicit threats against white people.

NEW: Political candidate who ran for NYC mayor is accused of sucker-punching a TikToker

Yes, Skiboky Stora has been attacking women in New York for years.

Skiboky Stora, 40, of East N.Y., was charged with assault. The failed politician who was arrested for allegedly punching a 23-year-old woman in Manhattan on Monday has a penchant for documenting his harassment of women on his multiple TikTok accounts. https://t.co/9JLxQCGjI1 https://t.co/fGtH8Y16ll pic.twitter.com/DUza6u4wVt

He also has a history of filming himself harassing white people. White people who were minding their business were most likely to think saying “thug” is racist. How ironic.

How many women need to be attacked by ghetto thugs or killed for Democrats to realize they are telling women to stand up against domestic violence while coddling a culture that harms women?

Jayvaun Prince (16) cracked a 68-year-old woman’s skull outside of her church.

He was arrested NINE TIMES before this, including 2x for assault. He was let out.

Just 3 days prior to the church attack, he targeted a different lady, mugged her, & carjacked her car. pic.twitter.com/dyxXgoWYuG

— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) April 14, 2024

I am moving on to the Mayor of Thorton Township, Illinois.   I have but one observation.

Mayor Tiffany Henyard is a ghetto woman. They are usually selfish and incompetent criminals

She can barely speak English and her constituents are just as ghetto for electing her pic.twitter.com/XS8yWdmNfU

— Sharika Soal (@SharikaSoal84) April 15, 2024

The fact a woman of that character was elected proves that racism isn’t the issue. Her constituents are disgusted with her antics, but even so, it says a lot about them and black supremacy when that is the best Illinois can do.

MLK said to judge people by “the content of their character.” He never said let all the ghetto black people take over the government.

There Will Be a Record-Breaking $50M Raised at Trump’s Billionaire Dinner

Donald Trump is on course to break President Biden’s single-event fundraising record with an extravagant $50 million dinner on Saturday.

This will have a bolstering effect on the Republican Party’s campaign budget seven months before the election.

John Paulson’s Palm Beach mansion, near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, will host a private evening fundraiser that will double the $25 million haul from Joe Biden’s March 28 event in Radio City, according to organizers.

Report: Melania Trump Will Return to Campaign Trail for Fundraising Event at Mar-a-Lago via @gatewaypundit https://t.co/HYjRwEVYXp

— The Gateway Pundit (@gatewaypundit) April 6, 2024

The New York Post reports,

“It took three Democrat presidents to raise $25 million and one president to raise over $50 million, Donald J. Trump,” campaign spokesperson Danielle Alvarez told The Post.

“This haul shows the Republican Party is united behind President Trump to defeat Joe Biden and that nobody is staying on the sidelines,” she added.

Paulson said that the response from GOP megadonors “has been overwhelming.”

“There is massive support amongst a broad spectrum of donors,” the billionaire said.

Insiders within Trump’s close circle are praising the upcoming “Inaugural Leadership Dinner” as a key “return to Trump” event. This event will mark the premier GOP fundraiser after Trump secured the Republican nomination.

In this case, it is an ideal opportunity for prominent Republicans to proudly display their unwavering support during the upcoming heated primary season.

Trump has enlisted the help of three former GOP competitors, Indian Congressman Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

All three will be attending the private fundraiser as special guests.

Guests will include WWE co-founder Linda McMahon, hotelier Steve Wynn, former Sen. Kelly Loeffler, and hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer.

A joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee will send most of the ticket price to the RNC and to state Republican parties — with the first $6,600 going to the former president’s campaign and the next $5,000 to a leadership PAC that has been paying his legal bills.

According to another New York Post report, The GOP announced on Wednesday that it had raised over $65.6 million in March, finishing the month with over $91.3 million in cash.

The Donald Trump presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee — working together for the first time in 2024 — raised over $65.6 million in March and ended the month with over $91.3 million cash on hand, the GOP announced Wednesday.

The record haul for the campaign may ease some worries among Trump backers, as the presumptive Republican nominee is facing an uphill battle to both match President Biden’s funding and deal with his own mounting legal bills.

The Trump team is also set to host a mega fundraiser this weekend in Palm Beach, with the hope of bringing in another $33 million.

After Being Dismantled For Mismanagement of Funds, A Historically Black University Board is Claiming Racism

Photo: Courtesy of Tennessee State University

Tennessee’s only publicly funded historically Black university was stripped of its trustees Thursday after Republican Gov. Bill Lee stripped its board.

Several black legislators and community leaders are pulling the race card, however, and claiming that state leaders, most of whom are white, targeted the board because of race.

America is seeing a school choice revolution as states across the nation recognize that parents know best.

TN’s Education Freedom Scholarships will open doors of opportunity for students by empowering every parent to pick the right school for their child. https://t.co/gKT0V3LpFZ

— Gov. Bill Lee (@GovBillLee) March 26, 2024

ABC News reports,

The legislation cleared the state GOP-controlled House on Thursday in a 66-25 vote, and Lee signed off a few hours later without commenting on the controversial decision to vacate the board. He instead praised TSU as a “remarkable institution” as he unveiled that he already had selected 10 new replacements.

“I’m pleased to appoint these highly qualified individuals who will work alongside administrators and students to further secure TSU’s place as a leading institution,” Lee said.

The new appointees, largely from the business community, are now subject to confirmation by the Legislature. Their selection will be critical as TSU is already seeking a new leader because President Glenda Glover plans to retire at the end of this school year.

“All we’re talking about is the board … It’s vacating some personalities and bringing others in,” House Majority Leader William Lamberth told reporters. “The goal is to make TSU successful.”

Numerous state audits have revealed alarming findings, increasing Republican frustration about the ongoing saga of TSU’s leadership. Chronic student housing shortages, escalating scholarship costs, and lingering financial discrepancies have long caused concern.

— sydnei (@sydneieverett) April 23, 2019

The House vote is just a week away, and fresh audits have revealed 56 “significant procedural deficiencies.” These range from insufficient documentation of transactions to a lack of caution in budgeting. Due to these discoveries, the institution is in dire need of accountability and reform.

Even after the audit, Democrats, however, have come forward to claim the board was targeted due to race.

Democrats and others say Republicans are focusing on the wrong issues, pointing out that TSU’s problems are primarily due to its being underfunded by an estimated $2.1 billion over the last three decades. They also allege that the majority-white Legislature distrusts a Black-controlled university’s ability to manage itself.

Rep. Bo Mitchell, a Democrat whose district includes TSU, also questioned removing the board of a historically Black college that the state has failed to adequately fund. “I’ve seen many audits of many universities that look horrendous,” Mitchell said. “Have we ever, ever vacated an entire board of a university before? Have we ever done that?”

“Instead of us rectifying the problems that we created through racist policies by underfunding Tennessee State University, we’re now advocating to vacate their board,” said Rep. Justin Pearson, a Democrat from Memphis, raising his voice as he criticized his Republican colleagues.

Most financial offices know that there is a process for allocating funds, and when those funds are found to be irresponsibly handled, someone loses their job. These are Democrats, though, so a race card temper tantrum seems appropriate.
