OF COURSE: Biden and Obama to Hold June Fundraising Event With George Clooney and Other Hollywood Liberals

By: Mike LaChance — April 25th 2024 at 22:00

Joe Biden and Obama are going to hold a fundraising event in June with liberal Hollywood celebrities, their most loyal constituency.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts are reportedly in talks to appear at the event.

Democrats are trying to repeat the success they had with a fundraiser in New York City featuring Stephen Colbert and other celebs.

Axios reports:

Scoop: Biden, Obama aiming for glitzy fundraiser in L.A.

The Biden campaign is in talks with former President Obama about appearing with President Biden at a star-studded Los Angeles fundraiser in mid-June, according to people familiar with the plan.

Why it matters: It’s set to be the Hollywood sequel — currently with just two presidents — of the “three presidents” show in New York City that featured Biden, Obama and former President Clinton last month.

  • That event brought in $26 million for Biden’s re-election effort, setting a fundraising record for Democrats in a single evening, according to Biden aides.
  • Given Katzenberg’s role as a co-chair of Biden’s campaign — and his deep connections in the movie industry — Democrats are optimistic that the Biden-Obama appearance, plus a smattering of stars, will lead another historic fundraising haul.
  • Other big names, including Julia Roberts, also might attend, according to people familiar with the matter.

This is so predictable.

WATCH: “We Absolutely Have to Get President Biden Reelected” – Leftist Arizona AG Kris Mayes Says The Quiet Part Out Loud Before Announcing Grand Jury Indictment Against Trump 2020 Alternate Electors

By: Jordan Conradson — April 25th 2024 at 20:20

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said the quiet part out loud late last month before announcing that 18 individuals were indicted by an Arizona grand jury in the latest election interference witch hunt against President Trump and his allies.

While speaking about abortion with MSNBC three weeks ago and claiming that Republicans will enact a federal abortion ban, Kris Mayes declared, “We absolutely have to get President Biden reelected.”

It can be recalled that lawless Attorney General Kris Mayes previously vowed not to enforce any current Arizona abortion laws if she is elected. She later doubled down on this promise, saying, “We will never prosecute a doctor, a nurse, a pharmacist, a midwife, a woman, or a friend helping a woman for abortion care,” regardless of what law is on the books.

However, as The Gateway Pundit reported, Kris Mayes, who stole her election from Republican Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes, announced the charges on Wednesday afternoon for the non-crime of questioning an election. She defended her witch hunt and the curious timing of the indictment – just months before the 2024 general election.

The charges include nine counts of conspiracy, fraudulent schemes and artifices, fraudulent schemes and practices, and forgery. “Defendants and unindicted coconspirators schemed to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency to keep Unindicted Coconspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona’s voters,” the indictment alleges.

Make no mistake, the charges are a warning shot to anyone who may want to challenge the 2024 election.

See the full list of 18 defendants facing felony charges in Arizona here:

FULL LIST: Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, Christina Bobb, John Eastman Among Those Charged in Democrat Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ Witch Hunt Grand Jury Indictment

On March 30, Mayes told MSNBC, "We absolutely have to get President Biden reelected," and yesterday, she showed how far she is willing to go.

Watch below:

Mayes: As my colleague from Massachusetts just mentioned, we absolutely have to get President Biden reelected because one of my fears is, despite the fact that Republicans said they wanted to send this back to the States, for states to decide, I think there's a real movement in the sort of extreme elements

Kris Mayes, the Attorney General of Arizona, went on MSNBC on March 30 to say this:

“We absolutely have to get President Biden reelected.”

Three weeks later she weaponized her office by indicting seven Trump attorneys and 11 Republican electors.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Discusses Operation Mongoose in Presidential Immunity Arguments (VIDEO)

By: Anthony Scott — April 25th 2024 at 19:20

Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas poked holes in special prosecutor Jack Smith’s theory that Trump is the first president to face criminal charges because former presidents have never committed crimes.

The Supreme Court on Thursday heard oral arguments on Trump’s presidential immunity claim in Jack Smith’s January 6 case in DC.

Jack Smith’s prosecutor Michael Dreeben went before the Supreme Court on Thursday and argued presidents do not have immunity for their official acts conducted during their time in the White House.

Dreeben further argued that no former president besides Trump has ever committed crimes.

In response to Dreeben’s argument, Justice Clarence Thomas stated, “Over the not-so-distant past … certain presidents had engaged in various activities, coups or operations like Operation Mongoose when I was a teenager, and yet there were no prosecutions.”

Operation Mongoose was a CIA covert operation that was authorized under President Dwight Eisenhower and continued under the Kennedy administration.

Under the operation, the CIA conducted terrorist attacks against Cuban civilians and attempted several assassination attempts against Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Per The Daily Caller:

The lawyer representing special counsel Jack Smith on Thursday asserted that the reason former President Donald Trump is the first president to face criminal charges is because his predecessors did not commit any crimes.

Department of Justice counselor to Smith, Michael Dreeben, went before the Supreme Court to argue presidents should not have constitutional immunity from prosecution for official acts conducted during their presidency. Dreeben suggested that no president until Trump has ever committed crimes when Supreme Court Justice

“Over the not-so-distant past … certain presidents have engaged in various activity, coups or operations like Operation Mongoose, when I was a teenager, and yet there were no prosecutions,” Thomas said. “Why? If what you’re saying is right, it would seem that would have been ripe for criminal prosecution of someone.”

“So Justice Thomas, I think this is a central question,” Dreeben responded. “The reason why there have not been prior criminal prosecutions is that there were not crimes.”

The covert operation by the CIA received backlash from Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy after he discovered the CIA hired a member of the Italian mafia to assassinate Castro.

Other sinister plans by the CIA discovered by Robert F. Kennedy included the CIA’s plan to bomb areas of Miami where Cuban refugees were living.

Judge Cannon Unseals Docs Alleging Jack Smith’s Lead Prosecutor Threatened Trump Valet Attorney and Tried to Bribe Him in Exchange For Client’s Testimony Against Trump

By: Cristina Laila — April 25th 2024 at 19:00

Judge Aileen Cannon on Wednesday unsealed more records related to Jack Smith’s classified documents case against Trump.

The newly unsealed documents detail allegations that Jack Smith’s prosecutor Jay Bratt threatened Stanley Woodward, an attorney for Trump’s valet driver Walt Nauta.

Jay Bratt tried to bribe Stanley Woodward and threatened him with a sinking judicial nomination if he didn’t get Walt Nauta to testify against Trump.

“Upon Mr. Woodward’s arrival at Main Justice, he was led to a conference room where Mr. Bratt awaited with what appeared to be a folder containing information about Mr. Woodward. Mr. Bratt thereupon told Mr. Woodward he didn’t consider to be a “Trump lawyer,” and he further said that he was aware that Mr. Woodward had been recommended to President Biden for an appointment to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Mr. Bratt followed up with words to the effect of “I wouldn’t want you to do anything to mess that up,”” according to the newly unsealed records.

Judge Cannon is on an unsealing binge.

The Gateway Pundit reported on this bribe last year.

The DOJ was forced to respond to a complaint filed under seal in the DC court by Stanley Woodward, the lawyer for indicted Trump aide Walt Nauta alleging prosecutorial misconduct.

DOJ prosecutor Jay Bratt tried to bribe Walt Naut’s lawyer Stanley Woodward in order to get his client to testify against Trump.

Bratt brought up Woodward’s application for a judgeship and suggested it would be blocked unless he forced his client to testify against Trump.

According to RealClearInvestigations journalist Paul Sperry, the DOJ was forced to respond to a complaint filed under seal related to the attempted bribe.

DEVELOPING: DOJ must respond to a complaint filed under seal in DC court by the lawyer for indicted Trump valet Walt Nauta alleging Democrat prosecutor Jay Bratt threatened Nauta to cooperate against Trump by suggesting Nauta’s application for a judgeship would be blocked

— Paul Sperry (@paulsperry_) June 10, 2023

Trump’s aide Waltine (Walt) Nauta was indicted by the Florida grand jury hearing evidence in Jack Smith’s classified documents case.

According to the indictment, Walt Nauta was told to move boxes after the former president received a subpoena in May for classified documents.

Walt Nauta is a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago.

According to the federal indictment reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Nauta was charged along with Trump in counts 32, 33, 43, 35, and 36.

The charges include conspiracy, withholding a document or record, corruptly concealing a document or record, concealing a document in a federal investigation and scheme to conceal.

Walt Nauta was also charged alone in count 38: False statements and misrepresentations.

President Trump posted this on Truth Social on this criminal judicial abuse.

An absolutely insane video captured a passenger attacking a bus driver in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, causing the vehicle to crash into a building.

Oklahoma City Police said Harrison was mad that the driver would not make an unscheduled stop due to the city’s policy.

Local station KFOR reports, “Another angle showed a passenger try to break up the attack as the driver is thrown to the floor. Shortly after, the bus can been seen veering off the road and into a business. A seat belt saved the bus driver from being thrown through the windshield.”

The driver was not seriously injured but had some mild bumps and bruises.

“Obviously (the driver) had some bumps and bruises. We got him to medical facilities right after and he’s off work now but doing well,” Jason Ferbrache, OKC Director of Public Transportation and Parking Department, told the local news station.

Ferbrache praised the driver for doing everything he could to keep the passengers safe.

“When you run into a situation like that, no matter how much training you have, it’s very difficult to prepare for somebody really assaulting you while you’re operating a vehicle in motion,” said Ferbrache.

Harrison fled the scene but was eventually captured by police.

Trump Attorney Humiliates Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson During Oral Arguments on Immunity Claim (AUDIO)

By: Cristina Laila — April 25th 2024 at 17:20

John Sauer, the Missouri-based attorney for Trump, humiliated liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson during Thursday’s oral arguments on Trump’s immunity claim before the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court on Thursday heard oral arguments on Trump’s presidential immunity claim in Jack Smith’s January 6 case in DC after a federal appeals court ruled Trump was not immune from prosecution.

Trump’s lawyers previously argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged ‘crimes’ committed while he served as US President.

At issue before the Supreme Court is whether a US President is immune from criminal prosecution for official (not personal) acts.

Ketanji Brown Jackson, the dumbest woman on the high court (who can’t define a woman), set herself up when she tried to argue that future presidents would be emboldened to commit crimes if they had immunity from prosecution.

“Presidents from the beginning of time had understood that that’s a possibility, that might be what has kept this office from turning into the kind of crime center that I’m envisioning, but once we say, ‘no criminal liability Mr. President – you can do whatever you want.’ – I’m worried that we would have a worse problem than the problem of the president feeling constrained to follow the law while he’s in office,” Ketanji Brown Jackson said.

This woman is truly stupid. She walked right into it.

John Sauer dunked on Ketanji Brown Jackson.

“I respectfully disagree with that because the regime you’ve described is the regime we’ve operated under for over 234 years,” John Sauer said. “There has not been an expectation based on 234 years of unbroken political…”

Mic drop.

Ketanji Brown Jackson stuttered as she interrupted John Sauer.

Former Foreign Affairs Congressman Claims: Gaza Pier will be used to Export Palestinians to US & Canada

By: Benjamin Wetmore — April 25th 2024 at 16:20

Part of the $9 billion in relief being sent to the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip, claims a former Congressman who sat for years on the Foreign Affairs committee, is secret funding for massive Palestinian resettlement in America and Canada.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) noted online that the billions being sent to Gaza are suspicious in that the funds seem disconnected from the reality of a true humanitarian mission. The funds are legally worded in such a way as to give Biden and his team the ability to do whatever they want with the money.

I’m pouring through the pages of the three supplemental funding bills.  Don’t buy what they are selling. Came across this on page 11:
‘‘International Disaster Assistance’’, $5,655,000,000, to remain available until expended, to address humanitarian needs, and
‘‘Migration and… pic.twitter.com/lhkoXVuZWp

— Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS (@RepGosar) April 18, 2024

The passage of this $95 billion funding bill was very controversial due to Republican Speaker Mike Johnson using Democrats in order to fund a spending bill to fund Democrat Biden’s priorities.

The proposed pier is allegedly just for ‘humanitarian relief.’ Mainstream news outlets claim that the only controversy about the pier is how Israel might interfere with the access point. The U.S. military is constructing the pier, and were briefly under mortar fire today though there were no casualties and no damage to the construction.

One expert in the Middle East is sounding concern and alarm about how the pier might be used, however.

Cong. Steve Stockman was in Congress for two non-consecutive terms, his first as part of the Republican Revolution of 1994, where he served from 1995-1997, and again as part of the Tea Party wave, elected in 2012 and serving from 2013-2015. Stockman served on the Foreign Affairs Committee, and had extensive knowledge of international affairs and the Middle East.

Cong. Steve Stockman’s 2013 swearing in with Stockman’s wife Patti, and then-Republican Speaker John Boehner

Stockman was harassed by the deep state for trying to impeach the IRS’ Lois Lerner and Democrat President Obama, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and later had his sentence mercifully commuted by President Trump around Christmas Day 2020. The DOJ deep state also tried to prosecute Stockman because he was being considered in 2017 for an Ambassadorship to the United Arab Emirates.

Stockman says that, from his contacts and also understanding how the left in power works, what’s being planned is a massive resettlement of Palestinians to the West.

“The $9 billion in relief aid wasn’t meant to actually help the Palestinians who need it,” Stockman said. “They structured it as ‘humanitarian aid’ because legally, that definition is so broad that they can repurpose the aid however they want. It’s a classic Congressional con game with this funding. It’s part of the billions and trillions spent every year by the deep state to accomplish its goals, and most of it is right out in the open.”

“They are going to use this money to resettle Palestinians in America, using this pier, the same way the militant left used Muslim refugees from Syria to colonize Europe.”

Stockman blames the quiet and covert alleged influence of former President Barack Obama.

Barack Obama, with President Donald Trump in the background.

“Obama and his team, who are the real power behind the throne with senile Biden, want to bring two million hate-filled anti-Americans here to help them win elections and help divide and destroy our native population. Their goal is to destroy you, your family, and your neighborhood,” said Stockman. “They brought millions into Europe in the same way: the left sparks a war, the left refuses to fight the war, and then they use the refugees created by their actions to restructure societies they hate. They’re bringing those Palestinians to America, just the same way they keep open borders to accomplish the same purpose.”

Federal government sources also relate that the Biden DOJ has approved nearly all of the refugee claims with nearly zero scrutiny.

Some have also pointed to claims in the past that humanitarian and food aid sent to Gaza in the past was substantially misappropriated and turned into profitable ‘reselling’ opportunities.

World Food Programme humanitarian aid SOLD to Palestinians on the streets of Gaza- despite the boxes being labelled ‘Not for Sale.’ pic.twitter.com/47kzPXqrlP

— Shunya (@Shunyaa00) April 12, 2024

Stockman continued, “Most don’t know that up in Canada, Trudeau opened the door to unlimited Gaza terrorist visas while he is slow-walking getting our allies out of the Taliban’s Afghanistan. This has nothing to do with charity or humanitarianism, they want to take in Palestinians and they don’t want to help traditional U.S. allies. The history of Democrat-led foreign policy over the last generation is one of extreme cynicism and partisanship.”

Former Cong. Stockman offered one powerful example of such cynicism, “I was on a CoDel in 2014, which is short for Congressional Delegation, to Nigeria. While there, an intelligence officer came up to me and asked to speak privately. He let me know that Obama’s White House knew exactly where the Muslim Boko Haram were keeping the kidnapped Christian girls. The military was ready to go in and rescue them, and were urgently and repeatedly asking for authorization to do so. But the White House and the John Kerry State Department didn’t want to give a perceived ‘win’ to then-President Goodluck Jonathan, because he was ‘homophobic’ in their eyes. So they let those girls suffer, get raped, and die to prevent a strong black political leader who didn’t agree with their globalist gay agenda from getting a win. That’s the deep state up close: they are busy reshaping the world with American tax dollars to ensure a hard-left Communist future, globally. Now, Nigeria’s the number one spot where Christians are being murdered across the world, that’s the outcome Obama wanted.

Michelle Obama postured for the cameras to return the girls kidnapped by Boko Haram, as her husband condemned them to slavery

HAITI HELL: Unelected Transitional Council Is Sworn In, New Interim Prime Minister Chosen as Violence Takes Country to the Brink of Catastrophe

By: Paul Serran — April 25th 2024 at 16:00

Haiti’s political situation saw a flurry of activity in the last couple of days, after many weeks of impasse and negotiations.

It’s a very complicated set of events that can be summarized like this: outgoing Prime Minister Ariel Henry finally resigned, and the rest of his cabinet ‘elected’ a new ‘provisional’ PM. Meanwhile, the new ‘Transitional Council’ was sworn in, and said council may or not appoint its own ‘Interim PM’.

Confusing, is it not? Now add to that the fact that the control on the streets is NOT maintained by the various unelected political groups, but rather by the rebel gangs.

Exiled PM Henry presented his resignation in a letter signed in Los Angeles dated from Yesterday (24).

Henry’s remaining Cabinet chose Economy and Finance Minister Michel Patrick Boisvert as the interim prime minister.

It was not immediately clear if or when the newly appointed transitional council would select its own interim prime minister.

Gun battles rage near the Presidential Palace.

Associated Press reported:

“Addressing a crowded and sweaty room in the prime minister’s office, Boisvert said that Haiti’s crisis had gone on too long and that the country now found itself at a crossroads. The members of the transitional council stood behind him, as well as the country’s top police and military officials.

‘After two long months of debate … a solution has been found’, Boisvert said. ‘Today is an important day in the life of our dear republic’. He called the transitional council a ‘Haitian solution’ and directing his remarks toward them, Boisvert wished them success, adding ‘I believe the determination is there’.”

The elegant leaders toasted with champagne and chanted ‘to Haiti’.

“The council was installed earlier Thursday, more than a month after Caribbean leaders announced its creation following an emergency meeting to tackle Haiti’s spiraling crisis. Gunfire could be heard as the council was sworn in at the National Palace.

The nine-member council, of which seven have voting powers, is also expected to help set the agenda of a new Cabinet. It will also appoint a provisional electoral commission, a requirement before elections can take place, and establish a national security council.”

Read: ‘It’s Like the End of Times’: UN Expert Predicts ‘Apocalyptic Scenario’ in Haiti May Fuel Mass Exodus Towards the US ‘In Weeks’

This new Transition Council has a non-renewable mandate that expires on Feb. 7, 2026 – when a new president is scheduled to be sworn in.

But recent history has taught us how the provisional leader tends to cling to power until toppled.

Will the new council keep Boisvert on as interim prime minister or choose another leader? No one knows.

The situation of the already chaotic country unraveled further after the July 2021 assassination of duly-elected President Jovenel Moïse.

Rebel gangs led by Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Chérizier control 80% of the capital Port-au-Prince.

Gangs control most of Port-au-Prince and the population of Port-au-Prince has literally been taken hostage.

“Gangs launched coordinated attacks that began on Feb. 29 in the capital, Port-au-Prince, and surrounding areas. They burned police stations and hospitals, opened fire on the main international airport that has remained closed since early March and stormed Haiti’s two biggest prisons, releasing more than 4,000 inmates. Gangs also have severed access to Haiti’s biggest port.

‘Port-au-Prince is now almost completely sealed off because of air, sea and land blockades’, Catherine Russell, UNICEF’s director, said earlier this week.”

Nearly 100,000 people have fled the capital to safer cities and towns since the rebel gang attacks began.

Just another day in Joe Biden’s America.

According to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), 2,000 illegal aliens were apprehended in the San Diego sector of the border on Wednesday. 206 of those were Chinese illegals. This statistic is in one sector of the border in just one day.

Of the 9 southern border sectors, San Diego had the most illegal crossings for the month of April. To make matters worse, many of these illegals are simply released into the streets of San Diego.

NEW: Per CBP source, Border Patrol’s San Diego sector apprehended 2,000 illegal aliens yesterday alone, including 206 Chinese nationals. San Diego sector has seen the most illegal crossings of all the 9 southern border sectors in April, as mass street releases are ongoing there.…

Based on past statements on “Meet the Press” in February, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, demonstrated that the Federal Government is dodging responsibility for the border crisis.

“Do you bear responsibility for what is happening at the border?” Kristin Welker asked.

“We don’t bear responsibility for a broken system,” Mayorkas continued.

Last Sunday, Senator Ted Cruz spoke with Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Futures to discuss the border crisis. He explained that the open border was a way to get mass votes to keep the Democrats in power.

“Democrats are willing to abuse power and defy the law in order to stay in power,” Cruz Said.

“Why would they allow this invasion? And the answer is simple, they view those 11 million illegal immigrants as future Democrat voters,” Cruz continued.

An estimated 10 to 12 million illegals have entered the United States under the Biden regime.

That number equals about the population of 41 individual states.

According to Axios Vibes survey by The Harris Poll, a large number of Americans are supporting mass deportations of illegal aliens.

Trump Cuts Biden’s Lead in New York to 10 Points as Democrats Election Interference Efforts Backfire – Union Leader Says Trump Leads Biden Among his Members 3:1 (VIDEO)

By: Jordan Conradson — April 25th 2024 at 14:40

President Trump is narrowing Joe Biden’s lead in Democratic New York with the Democrats’ lawfare against him proving to be a witch hunt.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, President Trump arrived at a construction site in New York on Thursday morning to greet union workers, and he was met with thunderous chants of “USA!” “USA!”

New York Union Workers Chant “USA!” As President Trump Visits Their Construction Site – Union Leader Trashes Democrats, Praises Trump (VIDEO)

Trump told Fox News earlier, "I think these maybe were Democrats, but for me, they're Republican."

"There's not a Democrat in there," he added:

The union workers love Trump, and according to new polling data, Biden's lead in New York, a state where Democrats have won by double digits in every presidential election since 1988, continues to shrink.

As Right Side Broadcasting Network reports,

In the latest show of proof that left-wing prosecutors’ efforts to interfere in the 2024 presidential election are backfiring, a newly released survey reveals that President Donald J. Trump may be within striking distance of Joe Biden in one of America’s strongest Democrat states (and the backdrop for Alvin Bragg’s ongoing “hush money” sham trial): New York.

New polling from the Siena College Research Institute, conducted over a three-day period from April 15-17, shows President Trump within ten points of Joe Biden in the state, 37 percent to 47 percent. In February, the same poll, which was taken prior to the start of the New York City trial (which will wrap up week two on Friday), showed Biden leading by 12 (48 percent-36 percent).

Among Independent voters, Trump leads Biden by 14 points, 46 percent-32 percent.

If this margin were to hold (or tighten further) going into November, it could indicate a seismic shift in the voting habits of traditionally deep-blue New York: Joe Biden carried the state’s 29 electoral votes by a margin of 23 points four years ago, and the last time a Republican declared victory there was in 1984 when President Ronald Reagan defeated ex-Vice President Walter Mondale by a more modest 8 points.

New York union leader Bobby Bartels also shared results from a poll he put out in his union, telling Fox, "President Trump is leading Joe Biden three to one on my presidential poll out of my 9,000 members right now."

Bartles added, "We are very tired of the situation with groceries, inflation, gas prices, illegal immigration, crime. We're living it every day in New York City."

Bartels: It was great to see the president coming and engaging with the blue collar worker of New York City. We basically built New York. The union movement has made the middle class, and we are a very patriotic union, and we are pro America. So, my members, right now, I put out a poll in my union. President Trump is leading Joe Biden three to one on my presidential poll out of my 9,000 members right now. We are very tired of the situation with groceries, inflation, gas prices, illegal immigration, crime. We're living it every day in New York City.

Justice Alito Destroys Jack Smith’s Prosecutor During Trump Immunity Oral Arguments with One Question (AUDIO)

By: Cristina Laila — April 25th 2024 at 14:20

The Supreme Court on Thursday heard oral arguments on Trump’s presidential immunity claim in Jack Smith’s January 6 case in DC.

The case made its way to the Supreme Court after the DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Trump was not immune from prosecution.

Trump’s lawyers previously argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged ‘crimes’ committed while he served as US President.

John Sauer, a Missouri-based attorney for Trump, gave an opening statement on Thursday and argued that Jack Smith’s indictment uses vague statutes to criminalize “core authority” of the presidency.

Sauer argued that immunity protects past presidents such as George W. Bush and Barack Obama from being prosecuted for crimes they committed while in federal office.

AUDIO:

As expected, the liberal justices, similar to the appellate court judges, floated absurd hypotheticals.

The justices then had the opportunity to grill Jack Smith’s prosecutor Michael Dreeben. Recall that Dreeben was one of Mueller’s goons in the special counsel’s ‘Trump-Russia’ inquisition.

Conservative Justice Samuel Alito destroyed DOJ prosecutor Michael Dreeben with one question.

“If the president gets advice from the attorney general, that something is lawful, is that an absolute defense?” Alito asked Dreeben.

“Yes, I think that it is,” Dreeben said.

“But won’t that give presidents incentive to be sure to pick an Attorney General who will reliably tell the president that it is lawful to do whatever the president wants to do if there’s any possible argument in favor of it?” Alito asked Dreeben.

“I think the Constitutional structure protects against that risk. The president nominates the attorney general and the Senate provides advice and consent,” Dreeben said.

This line of questioning also dovetails other questions asked by Gorsuch related to subordinate liability.

AUDIO:

Justice Alito also asked about FDR’s decision to put Japanese-Americans in camps during WWII.

“What about President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s decision to intern Japanese-Americans during World War II, couldn’t that have been charged?” Alito asked Dreeben.

“Today, yes,” Michael Dreeben said.

Police Officers Show No Mercy as They Break Up Illegal Protest Held by Unruly Anti-Israel and Anti-Cop Protesters at Emory University in Atlanta (VIDEOS)

Atlanta police officers showed no mercy Thursday as they laid down the law against unruly anti-Israel and anti-cop protesters at Emory University.

As Fox 5 Atlanta reported, several dozen agitators illegally set up a “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” on the lawn of the school and held signs.

FOX 5 Atlanta’s Billy Heath III noted that the protesters were approached by police, who gave them a minute to disperse, or they would be arrested for trespassing.

The students refused to comply with the cops’ demands and ended up paying a heavy price as a result.

Video footage from the protest shows police officers getting physical with the spoiled brats after allegedly being attacked. the police reportedly had to resort to firing rubber bullets and spraying tear gas to restore order.

You can hear what sounds like rubber bullets in the clip below while some protesters scream, “Let them go!” Many protesters are also seen being zip-tied and marched away.

Atlanta News First’s Patrick Quinn reported witnessing at least 15 agitators being detained.

According to Mondowweiss.net, The protesters were demanding Emory school officials immediately divest from Israel and Cop City, a police and fire department training campus under construction near Atlanta. The latter has been a prime target for Antifa militants for months.

The article claims without evidence the protesters are students from “multiple Atlanta universities” and community members. Emory University was chosen because the Marxists protesting view it as “complicit in genocide and police militarization.”

Laura Diamond, assistant vice president of University Communications at Emory University, released a statement saying the agitators were “not members of our community” and had no right to disrupt school functions:

Several dozen protesters trespassed into Emory University’s campus early Thursday morning and set up tents on the Quad. These individuals are not members of our community.

They are activists attempting to disrupt our university as our students finish classes and prepare for finals. Emory does not tolerate vandalism or other criminal activity on campus. The Emory Police Department ordered the group to leave and contacted Atlanta Police for assistance.

But CNN reports at least two professors were among those arrested. One of these “educators” was Noelle McAfee, Chair of the Philosophy Department at Emory University.

I’ve asked for a comment from Emory on this arrest, no word yet.

Hopefully more information will come out in the coming days regarding the participants. Having professors involved and possibly brainwashing students in the process is definitely troubling.

Top Ten Egregious Reasons to DEFUND NPR

By: Tim Graham — April 25th 2024 at 13:30
Anyone who spends time reading about NPR on NewsBusters is going to roll their eyes when NPR executives blather about how they believe in "viewpoint diversity" and "inclusion" of important voices. It's readily apparent on a daily basis that NPR is a sandbox for left-wingers, polishing Democrats and punishing Republicans, touting liberal journalists as heroic and conservative journalists as a pox on the First Amendment. Coming up with a list of ten egregious examples to advocate for separating NPR from the taxpayers is difficult, because there are many more examples than just ten. We decided to limit it to the Trump era, since that's roughly how long Uri Berliner was complaining inside NPR. Anti-Patriotic Song. On July 4, 2018, NPR's All Things Considered ripped a classic Irving Berlin song under the headline “For 'God Bless America,' A Long Gestation And Venomous Backlash.” NPR reported that leftist folksinger Woody Guthrie thought it was "a whitewash of everything wrong in America" and that it’s “annoyed many” people (NPR staffers and audience members, surely) "who hear it as a tune of syrupy nationalism and trivialized faith." Pro-Marxism. On February 24, 2023, NPR On The Media host Brooke Gladstone touted The Communist Manifesto: "like Hamlet’s ghost, the Manifesto is both impossible and imperative in its call for action.” It’s a “stalwart text…it’s stirring! It scans!” For the oppressed, it’s “music for their dreams.” Her Marx-interpreting guest China Mieville said true communism has never been tried, and “If you see this new sadistic hard right as an inevitable feature of capitalism, then the stakes of moving beyond capitalism become ever more urgent.” Pro-Chinese Communism. On October 1, 2018, NPR’s Morning Edition celebrated the 70th anniversary of the communist takeover of China. Co-host Ailsa Chang was in Beijing to gush. “It's communist in name, but it is not the party of the proletariat; it's the party of state capitalism. And it's a party that promised to lift people out of poverty, which, you know, to be -- truth be told, it has done a spectacular job of.” Chang interviewed a young woman who said China was doing great, that “we know the leader would make steady, wise choice, unlike (laughter) the United States.” Pro-Looting. On August 27, 2020, NPR's blog "Code Switch," with the slogan "Race In Your Face," posted an interview promoting a new book titled In Defense of Looting. Natalie Escobar promoted author Emily Osterweil's view that “looting is a powerful tool to bring about real, lasting change in society. The rioters who smash windows and take items from stores, she says, are engaging in a powerful tactic that questions the justice of ‘law and order,’ and the distribution of property and wealth in an unequal society.” Pro-Rioting. On The NPR Politics Podcast on July 17, 2021, NPR reporter Danielle Kurtzleben brought on Yale law professor Elizabeth Hinton to promote her book on the acceptability of violence as a protest tactic against police. Kurtzleben explained: “You talk about these clashes as rebellions -- and quite pointedly, not as riots. It's a very meaningful choice. It really kind of shapes how the reader perceives these clashes.” Kurtlzeben proclaimed “It’s an excellent book!” Pro-Sabotage. On NPR’s Fresh Air on April 15, 2023, their movie critic John Powers praised the movie How to Blow Up a Pipeline, hailing it as “hugely timely” when “people are frustrated by society's inability, indeed unwillingness to even slow down ecological disasters like climate change.” The movie’s a fictional take on the Andreas Malm book of the same name – “the most compelling argument I’ve read for eco-sabotage,” proclaimed Powers. He praised the movie for treating the saboteurs not as villains or “parody radicals,” but as “ordinary people whose reasons we can sympathize with.” Pro-Abortion Audio. On November 3, 2022, NPR’s Morning Edition featured reporter Kate Wells at an abortion clinic in Detroit, and they actually aired audio of an abortion of an 11-week-old baby. The abortionist told the woman,“you’re going to hear this machine turn on now, okay? It makes a loud noise.” NPR’s website warned some “may find it disturbing.” The doctor advises the patient to breathe during the killing. When the baby is dead, an assistant tells the woman, “Don’t you ever tell yourself that you can’t do something.” Anti-“Fox Monster.” On 2021, NPR’s On The Media devoted an hour to what they called “Slaying the Fox Monster.” Host Bob Garfield said “we're discussing how the marketplace might force Fox News Channel into responsible behavior or even into financial catastrophe." (In 2022, NPR also promoted Fox-deplatforming activist Nandimi Jammi, who quipped “you can’t chop off Fox News’s head in a day.”) Treasonous Mitch? On NPR’s Fresh Air on October 1, 2018, host Terry Gross discussed emerging claims on Trump-Russia collusion, and she imagined Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell might be treasonous: “If it can be proven that McConnell knew that Russia was trying to interfere in our election and influence the outcome of it and then tried to cover it up, to deny that it was happening, is that treason? Is that, like, legally treason?” Washington Post reporter Greg Miller wouldn’t bite. Hunter Laptop Deniers. The most egregious example is NPR's red-hot loathing of Biden scandals. On October 20, 2020, NPR “Public Editor” Kelly McBride tweeted,  "Why haven't you seen any stories from NPR about the NY Post's Hunter Biden story?" She quoted Terence Samuel, NPR's Managing Editor for News. “We don't want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don't want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.” He dismissed the Post story as a “politically driven event.” Today, McBride’s tweet remains, but the link to her newsletter doesn’t work. Why haven't you seen any stories from NPR about the NY Post's Hunter Biden story? Fact Check: No, The Gateway Pundit is Not Losing Its Audience — We Continue to be One of the MOST VISITED News Sites in America Today

By: Jim Hoft — April 25th 2024 at 12:40

Yesterday, the news of the Gateway Pundit’s bankruptcy filing was released to the public.

As outlined in yesterday’s statement, this decision was made for business reasons. However, for our dedicated readers and trusted staff, there are no planned changes. We remain committed to delivering the same high-quality daily news and journalism to America today.

The mainstream media began reporting this news feverishly, with glee and half-truths. They all had their erroneous spin on the filing. They misunderstood what was going on and simply speculated as to our motives, the facts, and why it was happening.

TGP GP record year 2023

One of the lies they started repeating in their coverage was that the traffic for the Gateway Pundit has gone down or plummeted.

In many reports they tried to claim that our traffic has gone down 62% since 2020, an outright lie. The Gateway Pundit is completely transparent about our site traffic. We link to it on every page, it’s a blue button at the bottom right of every page labelled “TGP Stats”, and it’s through a service called StatCounter.com.

The art and science of measuring website traffic is not precise, but across every reliable system it shows the same thing: our Gateway Pundit traffic is substantially higher than in 2020. Here’s what the month-to-month 2020-2024 data shows, and as you can see it does NOT show a decline in either site traffic or in unique visits to the site:

The mainstream media has based this lie on the way that online websites’ traffic is measured. One such service is called Comscore. Comscore is similar to StatCounter, and it requires website administrators to place a code or script on each page so that traffic can be counted. In early 2023, TGP removed that code because we no longer needed their reports. So today Comscore shows that our traffic is substantially down, even though that is not true – we had simply removed their tracking code.

Comscore’s statistics are then used by a hard-left blog to track and harass right-wing publications and journalists; one is known as “The Righting.” They published a story that was based entirely off of the Comscore data, showing the wrong statistics and facts. This source was then used by left-leaning media outlets to report these things as verified third-party facts.

All they did was copy and paste the wrong data, from the wrong service, to support a wrong conclusion: that TGP’s traffic was down when, in fact, it is actually substantially up.

TGP also uses Google Analytics to track our site traffic, and Google reports the same trends as StatCounter, even though they don’t provide a public link to the data: TGP traffic is nearly double that of 2020. Google Analytics proves that page-views to the GP site have gone from between 24-32 million views to between 55-87 million page-views.

Here’s our January 2020 Google Analytics report:

And here’s our January 2024 Google Analytics report. Google changed the way they display their reports, so it’s a little harder to compare the two, but if you look at the total pageviews, and the total unique users, you can find the key data.

Can you guess whether the left-wing mainstream media is reporting the truth that traffic is substantially up, or whether they spread the disinformation that it is substantially down?

We’re sure you know that they chose the lie, instead of the truth, because in their minds the emotional agenda is more important than the facts.

We reached out to several reporters involved in promoting this disinformation and asked them to correct their data and amend their stories.

To their credit, Mediaite’s Alexander Griffing fixed his story to at least show that the traffic numbers were in dispute. He did this quickly and was a complete professional about the matter.

Mediaite’s Alexander Griffing

And then there was the Atlantic’s Paul Fahri. He wrote in the “Atlantic” that the Gateway Pundit traffic was down by over half. This, as I’ve explained, is simply not true.

We reached out to Paul and asked him to correct his story. We showed him the evidence, we explained the situation, we said surely at least he would want to explain that the numbers were reasonably in dispute.

Surely a journalist with years working at the Washington Post would want his readers to have the right information, have the right facts, and draw the right conclusions from those facts.

Fahri told us he didn’t care if it was true or not, he wasn’t going to update the article. He told us to go take it up with the source he received the information from, and maybe just take it up with Comscore themselves.

The Atlantic’s Paul Fahri, who does not correct factual errors in his reporting.

NPR, of course, repeated the same lying line about our traffic being down. It’s not even worth trying to engage with those hard-left zealots committed to disinformation.

Instead of correcting their errors, mainstream journalists revel in their errors. Instead of doing their jobs to get the story right all the time, they simply push the agenda and ignore the facts. This is why America no longer reads these partisan disinformation outlets. This is why America fell out of love with mainstream journalism.

This is the truth of why the Gateway Pundit is getting more site traffic than ever before. Even though we are constantly harassed with lawfare, even though the government is trying to push us off all social media platforms in a case now being decided before the Supreme Court, even though our ad platforms are attacked and even our advertisers are harassed by insane left-wing anti-free-speech zealots, despite everything they throw at the Gateway Pundit, we’re doing better than ever.

Outside the Supreme Court after oral arguments in Murthy v. Missouri with co-plaintiffs Jay Bhattacharya, Jill Hines, and Jim Hoft, March 18, 2024.

When I founded the Gateway Pundit, I had no idea we would get to this point. I had no idea our growth would be this phenomenal.

But I had one overriding belief: that if we told the truth, and reported what other people were afraid to report … that it would all work out and that people would read us, support us, and our numbers would grow.

I am enormously proud that the Gateway Pundit and our amazing team of journalists have taken the national lead on reporting about the unconstitutional COVID lockdowns and massive state misinformation about the virus, the 2020 election fraud and cover-up, the January 6th show trials and political prisoners, endless Biden scandals, and so much more.

Thank you for making the Gateway Pundit the number one source for real news and opinion journalism in America.

World’s Chocolate Supply Under Threat By Virus, Researchers Call for Cacao Trees To Be Vaccinated

By: Anthony Scott — April 25th 2024 at 12:20

Cacao trees in West Africa, where 50% of the world’s chocolate originates, are currently under threat by a virus that may jeopardize the global supply of chocolate.

In a new scientific study, researchers from the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana and the University of Kansas, Prairie View A&M, reported that the cacao swollen shoot virus disease (CSSVD), caused by tiny insects called mealybugs, has endangered cacao trees in the Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Harvests in the Ivory Coast and Ghana have been cut by 15% to 50% since the virus has wreaked havoc on cocoa trees.

To combat the pesky virus, researcher Chen-Charpentier from the University of Kansas, Prairie View A&M, has advocated for vaccinating cocoa trees and spreading them out from one another.

Chen-Carpentier stated, “What we needed to do was create a model for cacao growers so they could know how far away they could safely plant vaccinated trees from unvaccinated trees in order to prevent the spread of the virus while keeping costs manageable for these small farmers.”

Vaccinated the cocoa from mealy bugs?
“Farmers can combat the mealybugs by giving vaccines to the trees to inoculate them from the virus. But the vaccines are expensive….. and vaccinated trees produce a smaller harvest of cacao…devastation of the virus”https://t.co/JMd6Wwcmcf

— Alita Gail (@RealAlitaGail) April 23, 2024

Per Science Daily:

A rapidly spreading virus threatens the health of the cacao tree and the dried seeds from which chocolate is made, jeopardizing the global supply of the world’s most popular treat.

About 50% of the world’s chocolate originates from cacao trees in the West Africa countries of Ivory Coast and Ghana. The damaging virus is attacking cacao trees in Ghana, resulting in harvest losses of between 15 and 50%. Spread by small insects called mealybugs that eat the leaves, buds and flowers of trees, the cacao swollen shoot virus disease (CSSVD) is among the most damaging threats to the root ingredient of chocolate.

Chen-Charpentier and colleagues from the University of Kansas, Prairie View A&M, the University of South Florida and the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana have developed a new strategy: using mathematical data to determine how far apart farmers can plant vaccinated trees to prevent mealybugs from jumping from one tree to another and spreading the virus.

“Mealybugs have several ways of movement, including moving from canopy to canopy, being carried by ants or blown by the wind,” Chen-Charpentier said. “What we needed to do was create a model for cacao growers so they could know how far away they could safely plant vaccinated trees from unvaccinated trees in order to prevent the spread of the virus while keeping costs manageable for these small farmers.”

Supreme Court Hears Oral Arguments on Trump Immunity Claim and the Liberal Justices Are Floating Absurd Hypotheticals, ‘Order Assassinations’ – ‘Kill a Rival’ – ‘Orders Coup’ (AUDIO)

By: Cristina Laila — April 25th 2024 at 11:40

The Supreme Court on Thursday heard oral arguments on Trump’s presidential immunity claim in Jack Smith’s January 6 case in DC.

The case made its way to the Supreme Court after the DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Trump was not immune from prosecution.

Trump’s lawyers previously argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged ‘crimes’ committed while he served as US President.

“In 234 years of American history, no president ever faced criminal prosecution for his official acts. Until 19 days ago, no court had ever addressed whether immunity from such prosecution exists,” Trump’s lawyers wrote in last month’s filing, according to CBS News. “To this day, no appellate court has addressed it. The question stands among the most complex, intricate, and momentous issues that this Court will be called on to decide.”

John Sauer, a Missouri-based attorney for Trump, gave an opening statement on Thursday and argued that Jack Smith’s indictment uses vague statutes to criminalize “core authority” of the presidency.

AUDIO:

As expected, the liberal justices, similar to the appellate court judges, floated absurd hypotheticals.

Liberal Justice Elena Kagan asked John Sauer, “How about if a president orders the military to stage a coup? Is that immune? Is it an official act?”

AUDIO:

Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor asked John Sauer if Trump would be immune from prosecution if he ordered the military to assassinate his political rival.

“…If the president decides that his rival is a corrupt person and he orders the military or orders someone to assassinate him, is that within his official acts that for which he can get immunity?” Sotomayor asked John Sauer.

Sauer replied, “It would depend on the hypothetical. What we can see that could well be an official act.”

Sotomayor defended Obama’s drone strikes on civilians while attacking Trump.

“He could. And why? Because he’s doing it for personal reasons. He’s not doing it like President Obama is alleged to have done it to protect the country from a terrorist. He’s doing it for personal gain. And isn’t that the nature of the allegations here, that he’s not doing them, doing these acts in furtherance of an official responsibility? He’s doing it for personal gain,” Sotomayor said.

“I agree with that characterization of the indictment. And that confirms immunity, because the characterization is that there’s a series of official acts that were done for an honorable,” Sauer said.

Sotomayor continue to argue with and interrupt John Sauer.

AUDIO:

A three-judge panel for the DC Circuit Court of Appeals previously asked John Sauer if Trump would be immune if he ordered assassinations.

On January 9 a three-judge panel heard oral arguments and appeared skeptical of Trump’s immunity claims – one judge, a Biden appointee, asked attorney John Sauer if Trump would be subject to criminal prosecution if he ordered SEAL Team 6 to assassinate his political rivals.

Summer of Love 2024 Violence Makes an Early Appearance and is Spreading Fast

By: John Mills — April 25th 2024 at 11:20

The battle of Columbia University is underway in New York City as “Palestinian Protestors” have created a swath of ungoverned space.  Jason Rantz, a Seattle talk radio personality, said, “There’s a new autonomous zone, this time at Columbia University and it’s fueled by hatred of Jews. The longer the university allows it to stand, the more difficult it will be to dismantle — and the more hate it will foment.”  Jason has experienced first-hand the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone that has contributed to a Seattle now in decline.

“Palestinian Protestors” are the latest fad of the angry outrage movement.  The tone and tenor is ugly and hostile to Jewish students and faculty.  Any attempt to counter-protest is met with violence or ejection from Campus.  Professor Shai Davidai has been barred from campus by officials since they cannot assure his safety.  Prohibiting Jewish faculty, staff, and students for their own safety is twisted and perverted logic.  The violence at Columbia is rapidly spreading to other campuses.  Texas Governor Greg Abbot oversaw a firm response at University of Texas Austin when radicals tried to shut the campus down.  Arrests were actually made at UT Austin, a departure from years of officials in many cities failing to provide civil order.

FBI Director Wray and others warn of imminent domestic attack amid the spike in campus violence

The sudden rise in violence on college campuses is occurring while key national security officials have been giving stark warnings to the American public.  FBI Director Wray has been quite histrionic about an impending ‘coordinated terror attack’ with the threat at a ‘whole other level’.  Wray’s warnings seem dire and he has been disingenuous on several topics, but this call to red alert seems authentic.  It is not well known, there is Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 191, Duty to Warn.  Under ICD 191 there is a legal obligation of officials (i.e. Wray) to provide a warning regarding threats to specific individuals or groups of intentional killing, serious bodily injury, and kidnapping.  Wray and other senior officials are likely triggered by their legal obligations under ICD 191.

Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS CISA) Director Jennifer Easterly has been equally dramatic with her comments of “aggressive cyber operations” by China that can not only take down infrastructure but also “induce societal panic,” which seems to acknowledge what Dr. Malone and others were correct about the mass psychosis of the Wuhan bio-lab, COVID, and the vaccine scam.  General Haugh, Director of National Security Agency and Cyber Command has pointed out that China was securing access to the United States’ critical networks before a direct confrontation between the two countries would occur.  Translated, China is preparing for war.  Is the sudden initiation of the Summer of Love 2024 related to Chinese Communist malign activities or the warnings from U.S. Government officials?  If nothing else it provides additional chaos and distraction which provides a smokescreen.

Antifers in 2020, now Palestinian Crazies, spoon fed by TikTok cognitive warfare

The violent “Pro-Palestinian” outrage mobs have a lineage to the Summer of 2020.  Black Lives Matter and Antifa were replete with those who were easily triggered by social justice messaging.  There was also a disturbing intersection between these groups and public-school faculty and staff.  Since 2020 these same personalities have shape shifted into drag show activists, violent transgender militants, the squatter movement, and now “Palestinian” activists.  Getting paid to protest, why not become part of the Social Justice rent a mob?  It’s a great gig if you can get it, and it’s quite easy to get.

China has the Digital Twin Strategy that helps TikTok fine tune their feed to address the positive and negative affirmation of the individual easily influenced by outrage postings.  Using Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Big Data analytics, TikTok can deliver tailored messages to their 1 billion plus users.  For Taiwan Election Interference, it was estimated that 10% of the TikTok messages were tailored to the individual.  At 1 billion users, TikTok can deliver 100 million tailored message streams and weight them toward the American audience – that is a lot of influence.  Who is paying the money to this street violence cadre in America for their violence?  Chinese Communist Groups, Hamas (which is Iran, which is China), American non-profits receiving U.S. Government grants, and Soros/Arabella dark money.  Big Media has surged their army of Soros Funded Fact Checkers to help hide the evidence trail on this connection.

Are Chinese Special Operators playing a role?

The seminal difference between 2020 and 2024 is the flood of Chinese military age males coming across the unsecure southern border.  Chinese operators were out on the street in 2020 enabling societal panic over the COVID narrative, but stayed discrete.  Another lesson learned by Taiwan was that advanced social media use by China still heavily utilizes on the ground collaborators to fine tune, correct, and spread the social messaging.  After 2020, Chinese nationals became bolder and started to create the secret Chinese Police Station Infrastructure in America which has been somewhat degraded, but not totally shut down by the FBI.  Chinese illegals also set up the bio-lab discovered in California and are routinely challenging the security at sensitive U.S. Government facilities.

Chinese illegals have been pivoting toward “legal cannabis”, drawn by the high cash nature of the un-bankable cannabis proceeds and are killing each other.  This situation is becoming pervasive across America.  With the surging rise of malign activities performed by Chinese operatives inside of America and the clarion call of multiple national security leaders on imminent, coordinated mass casualty events, not drawing a line, at least in pencil, between the sudden rash of “Palestinian” protestors and the flood of Chinese military age males across the southern border is foolish.

FDA Says Bird Flu Discovered in Grocery Store Milk – Here Is One Way To Be Prepared

By: Promoted Post — April 25th 2024 at 10:30

(Note: Thank you for supporting businesses like the one presenting a sponsored message below and working with them through the links below which benefits Gateway Pundit. We appreciate your support!)

In the latest avian flu development, it was announced yesterday that, “the US Food and Drug Administration said … it had detected viral particles of H5N1 avian influenza in milk purchased at grocery stores.”

While the FDA was cautioning that they believe the milk is still safe to drink, others are sounding the alarm.

According to news reports,

“Dr. Eric Topol, founder of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, said the finding of viral particles in milk on grocery store shelves means the outbreak is probably more widespread than we’ve known.

“The dissemination to cows is far greater than we have been led to believe,” Topol said in an email Tuesday.”

“The FDA assurance that the dairy supply is safe is nice, but it’s not based on extensive assessment yet, which they acknowledge, and won’t engender trust and confidence because it comes in the wake of USDA mishandling,” he added.

The Chief Medical Board of The Wellness Company has been closely watching the avian flu (H5N1) outbreak here in the United States over the last few week – recently adding Tamiflu to the company’s Contagion Kit. While it is far from certain that this most recent strand of bird flu will result in a pandemic, Dr. McCullough said:

“Out of an abundance of caution, we are adding Tamiflu to the Contagion Kit. Tamiflu is a safe medication approved treat Influenza type A, viruses like avian flu. We will continue to closely monitor this situation and make further recommendations as warranted.”

Tamiflu Oseltamivir (generic Tamiflu™) is an antiviral medication that disrupts replication of the Influenza A and B virus, including the avian ‘bird flu’ H5N1 variant, within the body to reduce the severity of flu symptoms.

Fraternal Order Of Police Responds to Woke ‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson: “Go Back To Your Pampered Life And Let The Heroes Handle This”

By: Margaret Flavin — April 25th 2024 at 10:15

The Gateway Pundit reported on Woke ‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson coming under fire after an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (THR) slamming President Trump, MAGA voters, and police officers.

He told THR, “I’m a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do. Love other people until death. It doesn’t mean we’re all to be hung on a cross, but how can I suffer for you? That is a beautiful thing.”

He added, “Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do,” before then attacking President Trump.

Ritchson continues, without merit, “Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal,” Ritchson adding, “I don’t understand it.”

Ritchson also addressed the death of Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old who was shot and killed during a drug warrant search in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2020.

Bounding into Comics reports:

Addressing the image the actor shared in August of 2020, the actor told THR, “That was a tragic case,” adding, “Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can’t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me.”

“We should completely reform the way that we do it. I mean, you shouldn’t have to spend more time getting an education as a hairstylist than as a cop who’s armed with a deadly weapon,” he went on to propose. “We should make it very hard for people to make mistakes or abuse power in our institutions.”

Image: @AlanRitchson/Instagram

Now, The Fraternal Order of Police has responded to Ritchson’s comments on X.

“While Mr. Ritchson gets his face and forehead powdered on set, our officers are out doing a job he doesn’t have the courage to do.”

“While he gets to hear loud pops and have blanks fired at him, our officers feel the heat of the bullets as they pierce their skin. There are no take two’s or take three’s in real life Mr. Ritchson.”

“We have people who want to kill us and we play for keeps. Just another useless Hollywood actor, virtue signaling for attention at the expense of brave police officers around this country.”

“Go back to your pampered life and let the heroes handle this.”

Seven Brand New Biden Gaffes ABC, CBS, NBC Are Hiding

By: Geoffrey Dickens — April 25th 2024 at 10:20
The Biden gaffes keep coming and the Big Three networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) keep ignoring them.  If Donald Trump or any Republican president was committing mistakes at the rate Biden is, you can bet network reporters and anchors would jam their broadcasts with their bloopers, but it’s not so for President Joe Biden.  In just the past week, he’s insulted Jews, middle-class Americans, and caused a minor international incident with his bumbling statements.  The following are seven brand new Biden blunders the networks have refused to cover:   Biden Reads Instructions Off Teleprompter: “Four More Years, Pause”          On April 24, FoxNews.com reported:  President Biden seemed to suffer a verbal slip-up during a speech at a trade union conference in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. Biden, reading off a teleprompter, appeared to incorporate script instructions in the middle of his speech, resulting in an awkward applause line. The moment came during a section of his remarks straight out of a campaign stump speech. “I see an America where we defend democracy, not diminish it. I see an America, where we protect freedoms, not take them away,” Biden said. “I see an economy that grows a lot in the bottom up where the wealthy pay their fair share, so we can have child care, paid leave and so much more, and still reduce the federal deficit and increase economic folks. “Imagine what we could do next. Four more years, pause,” he said before laughing. ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: PENDING   Biden Claims Uncle Was Eaten By “Cannibals” in New Guinea, Sparks International Incident         On April 22, the New York Times reported:  Prime Minister James Marape of Papua New Guinea has hit back at President Biden’s suggestion that his uncle, a U.S. serviceman whose plane went down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of New Guinea during World War II, had been eaten by cannibals there. “President Biden’s remarks may have been a slip of the tongue; however, my country does not deserve to be labeled as such,” Mr. Marape said in a statement provided to news organizations including The Associated Press and Reuters. Twice last week, Mr. Biden suggested without evidence that his uncle had been eaten by cannibals. “He got shot down in New Guinea, and they never found the body because there used to be — there were a lot of cannibals, for real, in that part of New Guinea,” Mr. Biden said of his uncle during an address on steel and aluminum tariffs in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Papua New Guinea has become an important strategic partner of the United States in the region. Mr. Marape has twice visited the White House. His office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Monday. Mr. Biden’s description of his uncle’s death does not match military records. Ambrose Finnegan, a brother of Mr. Biden’s mother, was a passenger in an aircraft that “for unknown reasons” had to ditch in the Pacific Ocean off the northern coast of New Guinea on May 14, 1944, according to the Pentagon’s Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. Both of the plane’s engines failed at low altitude. There is no indication the aircraft was shot down. Mr. Finnegan and two other men “failed to emerge from the sinking wreck and were lost in the crash,” the Pentagon records state. “One crew member survived and was rescued by a passing barge. An aerial search the next day found no trace of the missing aircraft or the lost crew members.” Mr. Biden made a similar suggestion that his uncle had been cannibalized when he visited a war memorial bearing Mr. Finnegan’s name in his childhood hometown, Scranton, part of a three-day campaign swing through the key battleground state of Pennsylvania. ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds.   Biden Urges Americans to “Choose Freedom Over Democracy”      On April 19, FoxNews.com reported:  Critics of President Biden slammed him on social media for making a puzzling statement encouraging voters to “choose freedom over democracy” by re-electing him to the presidency. Conservatives expressed confusion over Biden’s message, and others insisted it was yet another gaffe showing his cognitive decline.  Biden made the claim while accepting the formal presidential endorsement of the Kennedy family in Pennsylvania on Thursday. During the political rally, half a dozen Kennedy family members appeared alongside President Biden to publicly back him over Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is running as an independent candidate for president in 2024. Kennedy Jr.’s own sister Kerry Kennedy spoke at the event, stating, “President Biden has been a champion for all the rights and freedoms that my father and uncles stood for.” After being introduced by the Kennedys, Biden addressed the crowd. Toward the end of his speech, he asked, “Are you ready to choose unity over division? Dignity over demolition? Truth over lies? Are you ready to choose freedom over democracy? Because that's America.” The last stanza turned heads with its seemingly contradictory message.  Author and Canary CEO Dan K. Eberhart commented, “He’s fine. Everything’s fine. Biden is definitely not in severe mental decline. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.” ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds.   Biden Mixes Up Israeli City With One in Gaza: “Don’t Move on Haifa”        On April 18, the New York Post reported:  President Biden on Tuesday confused the Israeli port city of Haifa with the last refuge for civilians in the Gaza Strip — Rafah — in a stunning blunder.  The 81-year-old president made the gaffe when asked in a one-on-one interview with Nexstar Media’s Reshad Hudson about his plan to win back pro-Palestinian voters in the wake of Israel’s war against Hamas.  “I’ve been meeting with them, number one,” Biden said. “Number two, I made it clear that we have to vastly increase the amount of food, water, healthcare going into Gaza.” “And I made it clear to Israelis – don’t move on Haifa,” he added, apparently meaning to say Rafah. … Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city and a popular tourist destination, is more than 100 miles north of Rafah.  Numerous social media users mocked Biden over the gaffe.  “I think Israel should accommodate Biden’s demand not to attack Haifa,” former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman wrote on X. “Think there’s strong likelihood Israel refrains from hitting Haifa,” former New York state Assemblyman Dov Hikind similarly tweeted, calling the error, “seriously embarrassing.” ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds.   Biden Falsely Claims He Never Earned $400,000 In His Lifetime On April 19, CNN.com reported:  In Scranton, Biden repeated his regular promise that nobody making less than $400,000 per year will pay even a cent more in taxes under his proposals. He then added, “I hope you’re all able to make $400,000. I never did.” Facts First: Biden’s “I never did” claim is false. In fact, his presidential salary is $400,000 per year; the joint tax filings of President Biden and first lady Jill Biden showed $619,976 in income last year, $579,514 in 2022 and $610,702 in 2021. In addition, Biden earned millions in 2017 and 2018, when, during his time as a private citizen following his vice presidency, he and Jill Biden signed a lucrative book deal and he delivered paid speeches. The Bidens’ joint tax filings showed a total of about $11 million in 2017 income and about $4.6 million in 2018 income. Biden, who was a US senator for 36 years prior to his vice presidency, did regularly earn less than $400,000 per year before 2017. As PolitiFact has previously noted, the Bidens’ joint filings reported less than $400,000 in income in each year from 1998 through 2016 except for 2013, when they were just over $407,000. ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds.   Biden Gets Basic Demographics Wrong On China  On April 19, CNN.com reported:  In a Wednesday speech in Pittsburgh that was focused on US steel competition with China, Biden said, “I always say to my colleagues — when I meet other world leaders, I say, ‘Would you trade places with China? Would you trade places with their problems?’ They’ve got a population that is more people in retirement than working.” Facts First: The claim that China has more retired people than working people is false. Fuxian Yi, a University of Wisconsin-Madison senior scientist who is an expert on Chinese demographics, called Biden’s claim “overstated and premature.” China reported having more than 740 million employed people at the end of 2023, while it also reported having just shy of 297 million people age 60 or above that year. (Sixty is the normal retirement-benefits age for Chinese men; it’s 50 to 55 for women depending on the nature of their jobs.) And some of the 60-plus population is still working.  Yi noted that China’s ratio of working people to seniors is shrinking as the country’s population ages. But Biden’s claim that the number of retirees already exceeds the number of people working is clearly not correct, even if you apply the usual dose of skepticism to official Chinese data. “It’s certainly the direction they’re heading, but still an exaggeration,” Derek Scissors, a senior fellow at the conservative American Enterprise Institute think tank who is an expert on the Chinese economy, said of Biden’s claim. Biden made a similar claim in 2021, which CNN fact-checked as false at the time. ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds.   Biden Has His “Very Fine People On Both Sides” Moment      On April 22, FoxNews.com reported:   President Biden’s latest comment on antisemitic protests on college campuses is being called his “very fine people on both sides” moment by some on social media. Following the president’s Earth Day comments at Prince William Forest Park in Virginia, reporters caught up with Biden and asked for a comment on anti-Israel protests occurring across multiple universities at the time. “Do you condemn the antisemitic protests on college campuses?” Biden was asked. “I condemn the antisemitic protests. That’s why I have set up a program to deal with that. I also condemn those who don't understand what's going on with the Palestinians,” he said. Equating the antisemitic protests with people who “don’t understand” the Palestinians ignited several comments accusing Biden of echoing Trump’s “very fine people on both sides” Charlottesville comment from 2017. “This sure sounds like he’s ACTUALLY saying there are very fine people on both sides,” OutKick founder Clay Travis remarked. “Very fine people on both sides,” RedState writer Bonchie agreed. American Spectator writer Nate Hochman noted, “I’m old enough to remember when ‘good people on both sides’ was evil and racist.” The Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway wrote, “President Biden says there are good people on both sides of October 7.” ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning show coverage: 0 seconds. (It should be noted that CBS and NBC both briefly reported Biden’s comments, but NEVER indicated they represented any kind of miscue. ABC failed to even mention Biden’s remarks.) The following are the relevant transcripts: CBS  Evening News  April 22, 2024 [13 seconds] CORRESPONDENT MEG OLIVER: Late this afternoon president Biden denounced anti-semitism. PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: I condemn the anti-semitic protests, that’s why I have set up a program to deal with that. I also condemn those who don’t understand what’s going on and the Palestinians. … CBS CBS Mornings April 23, 2024 [12 seconds] CORRESPONDENT MEG OLIVER: President Biden yesterday condemned the anti-semitic comments directed towards Jewish students but added that he also condemned anyone who doesn’t realize what Palestinians are going through. Gayle?  CO-HOST GAYLE KING: Meg, thank you. … NBC Nightly News April 22, 2024  [17 seconds] ANCHOR LESTER HOLT: And Erin tonight, the White House is weighing in on all this.  CORRESPONDENT ERIN MCLAUGHLIN: That’s right, Lester. Tonight President Biden saying he condemns both anti-semitic protests and those who, quote, “don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians.” Lester? HOLT: Erin McLaughlin tonight. Thank you.

El Paso DA Indicts 140 Illegal Aliens on Rioting Charges After Leftist County Judge Dismissed Their Case

By: Ben Kew — April 25th 2024 at 09:45

The District Attorney for El Paso, Bill Hicks, has indicted 140 illegal aliens on rioting charges after a leftist county judge attempted to dismiss the case against them.

El Paso Times reports that Hicks presented the charges to a grand jury on Tuesday after El Paso County Judge Ruben Morales dismissed the charges on grounds of lack of probable cause.

This is the moment when TX National Guard became overrun by migrants rioting to get across the border here in El Paso today

We were there and saw it all happen. Absolute chaos here. pic.twitter.com/VN6Kf663ie

— Jennie Taer (@JennieSTaer) March 21, 2024

Hicks explained:

We took all 141 of those cases to a grand jury this morning. Because the judge’s ruling was limited to the complaint affidavit in front of him, it allowed us to take the broader case to the grand jury.

We presented the case as a whole. We presented videotape evidence of what happened. The grand jurors believed there was, in fact, probable cause. The citizens of El Paso, through the grand jury, essentially overruled the judge’s ruling and found probable cause to believe that the riots did occur.

Traditionally, we reserve the grand jury for felony indictment, and we don’t take misdemeanors to a grand jury. However, when there is a question regarding probable cause, I believe it is fair to take these cases to 12 citizens of our community.

El Paso County Public Defender Kelli Childress, who is defending the illegals against criminal prosecution, condemned the indictment and called it a violation of their human rights:

We pretty much predicted that was their plan, which is why we sought a probable cause hearing in advance of today’s grand jury. I can’t say we didn’t know it was coming. We didn’t know exactly when. Knowing that it was coming doesn’t at all ease the fact that I think it is a horrible move. I think it is a blatant violation of constitutional rights and human rights.

I find it pretty amazing that they were able to indict 140 misdemeanor cases basically overnight, yet I have hundreds and hundreds of felony cases waiting to be charged for more than a year. They can claim all they want that this isn’t about politics and it’s not about immigration laws, but their actions scream otherwise.

This is not the first time that an El Paso judge has sided with illegal aliens over the rule of law.

Last month, El Paso Magistrate Judge Humberto Acosta ordered the release of dozens of migrants who engaged in a violent encounter with National Guard troops along the Rio Grande as they attempted to enter into the country illegally.

‘Where They Both Die’: Nasty Chris Christie Wishes Death on Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy

By: Ben Kew — April 25th 2024 at 09:15

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has appeared to wish death on Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy.

The failed presidential candidate spoke at an event on Tuesday at the University of Chicago titled ‘Does the Truth Still Matter? In Conversation With Chris Christie.’

“I would have preferred any of those people over Trump,” Christie said when asked about other Republican candidates. “Ramaswamy and Trump, I would have hoped for a death match where they both die.”

The comments led to awkward laughs from the audience, while the moderator asked him whether he meant “a literal death match.”

“Yes,” Christie responded, “Where they both die.”

Watch the exchange below:

Chris Christie: “I would have preferred any of those people over Trump. Ramaswamy and Trump I would have hoped for a death match. Where they both die.”
The applause break from the ‘progressive crowd’ was a nice touch of irony. pic.twitter.com/gkijE5ER54

— Eric Abbenante (@EricAbbenante) April 24, 2024

Having been a vocal supporter of Trump in 2016 and interviewing for a position as his chief of staff, Christie has viciously turned his back on both the former president and the MAGA movement.

He recently flirted with the prospect of running as an independent but has since closed the door on the idea on the grounds that there is no chance he could win.

“I appreciate the encouragement I’ve gotten to pursue a third-party candidacy,” Christie said last month. “While I believe this is a conversation that needs to be had with the American people, I also believe that if there is not a pathway to win and if my candidacy in any way, shape or form would help Donald Trump become president again, then it is not the way forward.”

FULL LIST: Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, Christina Bobb, John Eastman Among Those Charged in Democrat Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ Witch Hunt Grand Jury Indictment

By: Jordan Conradson — April 25th 2024 at 09:00
Leftist Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes

Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, RNC attorney Christina Bobb, conservative attorney John Eastman, and Trump campaign adviser Boris Epshteyn are among the eighteen individuals indicted by an Arizona grand jury in the latest election interference witch hunt against President Trump and his allies.

President Trump was named “Unindicted Coconspirator-1” in the indictment because he made a phone call about the ballot counting to former governor Doug Ducey.

The indictment further states, “Defendants deceived the citizens of Arizona by falsely claiming that those votes were contingent only on a legal challenge that would change the outcome of the election. In reality, Defendants intended that their false votes for Trump-Pence would encourage Pence to reject the Biden-Harris votes on January 6, 2021, regardless of the outcome of the legal challenge. When combined with the six other States where Republican electors sent in uncertified votes for Trump-Pence, Defendants wanted Pence to either declare Unindicted Coconspirator 1 the winner of the election, delay the proceeding and have individual state legislatures determine their electors, or have Congress resolve any claimed uncertainty about the validity of election results in Arizona and six other states in Unindicted Coconspirator 1’s favor.”

However, this is perfectly legal conduct and there is a legal precedent for this so-called deception:

Per Politico:

By December 1960, it was clear Kennedy had won. Only Hawaii’s result remained in doubt. Nixon had prevailed by just 140 votes, according to the initial results, which were certified by the governor. A recount was underway on Dec. 19, 1960, when presidential electors across the nation were required by law to meet and cast their ballots.

Nixon’s Hawaii electors met and cast their three votes in an official ceremony. But nearby, Kennedy’s three elector nominees gathered and signed their own certificates, delivering them to Washington as though Kennedy had won the state.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the indictment yesterday.

Arizona’s radical left Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes, who stole her election from Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes, announced the charges on Wednesday afternoon. She defended her witch hunt and the curious timing of the indictment – just months before the 2024 general election. Make no mistake, the charges are a warning shot to anyone who may want to challenge the 2024 election.

BREAKING: Trump 2020 Alternate Electors Indicted in Arizona in Democrat AG Mayes’ Witch Hunt – Trump Listed as Unindicted Co-Conspirator!

Democrat prosecutors in other states are also targeting Trump’s alternate electors.

In July, Democrat Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel criminally charged 16 dueling ‘Trump electors’ in the state’s 2020 election.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recently indicted three of Trump’s alternate electors in Georgia as part of her RICO and conspiracy case against Trump.

Five of the individuals indicted in Georgia were also indicted in Arizona.

The 18 Defendants facing felony charges in Arizona include:

  • Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows - Also indicted in Georgia
  • Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani - Also indicted in Georgia
  • Trump 2020 campaign director of election day operations, Michael Roman - Also indicted in Georgia
  • Conservative attorney John Eastman - Also indicted in Georgia
  • Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis - Also indicted in Georgia
  • Trump campaign adviser Boris Epshteyn
  • Former Trump campaign attorney and current RNC attorney Christina Bobb
  • Former Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward
  • Michael Ward, husband of Kelli Ward
  • Republican national committeeman and Turning Point Action executive Tyler Bowyer
  • GOP State Senator Jake Hoffman
  • GOP State Senator Anthony Kern
  • Former U.S. Senate candidate Jim Lamon
  • Former Arizona GOP Executive Director Greg Safsten
  • Conservative activist Nancy Cottle
  • Conservative activist Loraine Pellegrino
  • Conservative activist Robert Montgomery
  • Conservative activist Samuel Moorhead

Per the Washington Post, attorneys and spokespersons for Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, and Kelli Ward responded to a request for comment:

Meadows lawyer George Terwilliger said Wednesday he had not yet seen the indictment when a Post reporter called him. After reviewing the indictment, he said: “If Mr. Meadows is named in this indictment, it is a blatantly political and politicized accusation and will be contested and defeated.”

“The continued weaponization of our justice system should concern every American, as it does permanent, irrevocable harm to the country,” Ted Goodman, a spokesman for Giuliani, said in response to the indictment.

“The phenomenon of partisan lawfare grows more troubling by the day,” Charles Burnham, an attorney for Eastman, said in an email responding to the Arizona charges. “Professor Eastman is innocent of criminal conduct in Arizona or any other place and will fight these charges as he has all the other unjust accusations leveled against him.”

A lawyer representing Ward and most of the other Trump electors said: “We are certainly disappointed in today’s developments and are confident that these charges are unwarranted."

The Gateway Pundit will continue to provide updates on the Arizona election interference indictment.

STAGFLATION? JPMorgan Chase CEO Dimon Fears US May Be Heading back to 1970s’ Economic Woes

By: Paul Serran — April 25th 2024 at 07:45

Ever since America’s largest bank JPMorgan Chase got rid of the Jeffrey Epstein-linked string of lawsuits, its CEO Jamie Dimon has been able to fully reposition himself as one of the main economy commentators in the nation.

He has been a critical voice removed from the rosy-colored forecasts by some liberal economists, and has so far been proven right about it.

Now, Dimon is is concerned that the US economy could be in route to repeat the economic woes that held back the country during the 1970s.

There’s a chance that it can happen again, he said during an appearance Tuesday (23) at the Economic Club of New York.

But what is ‘it’? He is talking about stagflation, a combination of low growth and high inflation, and Dimon has made it clear that he believes such a risk exists again.

Yahoo Finance reported:

“‘I worry that it looks more like the ’70s than we’ve seen before’, he added during a question and answer session with Marie-Josée Kravis, chair of the Museum of Modern Art and wife of KKR co-founder Henry Kravis. ‘There are circumstances in which it’ll look more like the ’70s than what we’ve had for the last 20 years’.”

Dimon has been warning of ‘stickier inflation and higher rates than markets expect’.

And now, even Fed Chair Jerome Powell nixed any rate cuts and alerted they will stay elevated for longer because of unrelenting inflation.

“Dimon said in his April 8 letter that the bank is prepared for interest rates ‘from 2% to 8% or even more’ — and he repeated that prediction Tuesday. ‘We would handle stagflation too’, he added.”

JPMorgan Chase posted profits 6% higher than the previous year, it is suffering from ‘deposit margin compression and lower deposit balances’.

“Dimon returned to some other familiar subjects during his discussion Tuesday, including his concerns about large amounts of government spending and efforts by the Fed to shrink its balance sheet, as well as the ongoing wars in the Middle East and Ukraine and their potential to disrupt essential commodities markets, migration, and geopolitical relationships.”

In his speech in the Economic Club of New York, Dimon was in no way a ‘doom and gloom’ prophet, as he described the US economy as “booming”, celebrated the American consumers, US bank credit, home prices, and stock prices.

“Economic growth, he said, is key to solving any number of problems. ‘We need to do more and better, and that’s why we need to grow the economy’, he said.

[…] He didn’t drop any hints about when he might leave JPMorgan, saying only that he wants to ‘leave behind’ a ‘great company’ and ‘I want to help my country. I am very excited about the future’.”

‘Grading for Equity’: Promoting Students by Banning Grades of Zero and Leaving No Class Cut-Ups Behind

Joe Feldman has faced many tough crowds in the course of successfully selling his “Grading for Equity” program to school districts across the nation. During the consultant’s presentations, teachers concerned that his approach lowers standards have rolled their eyes, questioned his understanding of students, and worse.

“A guy in the front row got his stuff together and walked out of the room,” Feldman told RealClearInvestigations.

Despite the frequent resistance from teachers, dozens of districts from California to Massachusetts are giving the consultant’s ambitious project a shot. As schools face a series of crises, including a spike in chronic absenteeism and sharp academic decline, grading for equity offers a path to better grades and higher graduation rates. Its practices include the removal of behavior in calculating grades, the end of penalties for late assignments, allowing students to retake exams, and a ban on zeros as the lowest mark.

Since the pandemic, districts have been lowering standards by making grading more lenient to help struggling students, according to several studies. But Feldman insists that his sweeping overhaul isn’t part of that controversial trend. He says the practices he promotes are a matter of fairness and accuracy in an educational system that’s stacked against blacks, Latinos and other disadvantaged students.

Grading for equity, however, stirs enough dissent among teachers and parents that some districts have dropped the difficult revamp in mid-stream. They say Feldman’s reforms are a form of leniency that brings out the worst in some students, hurting the very kids he wants to help.

“What’s most troubling are the practices that lower expectations, like giving a 50 percent grade instead of a zero even when a student doesn’t attempt the assignment,” said Meredith Coffey, a former teacher and now a researcher at Thomas B. Fordham Institute who co-wrote a report on grading for equity. “If students know that they could do nothing and get 50 percent, why would they work hard? Many would do nothing.”

In some districts, grading for equity is part of the controversial agenda that’s taken hold in urban areas and seeks to wash away perceived “systemic racism” in classrooms in the wake of the George Floyd murder in 2020. In Fairfax County, a district that’s embraced grading for equity, leaders have also pushed “anti-racist” education for students and paid author and crusader Ibram X. Kendi $20,000 to give a one-hour Zoom presentation, telling staff that anti-racism means working to achieve equitable outcomes.

Like critical race theory, cops in schools, and transgender bathrooms, grading for equity is galvanizing divisions in the cultural conflict over public education. Progressives support it as a path to closing the stubborn achievement gap between rich and poor students while conservatives fear it further undermines high expectations that encourage all students to strive to improve.

A savvy promoter, Feldman frequently posts on X, expressing his excitement to schools and conference organizers who tap his expertise. He likes to plug his book, too. “Grading for Equity,” with a second edition in 2023, has sold 175,000 copies, a top-five bestseller from publisher Corwin.

Grading for equity, a term coined by Feldman, isn’t a fringe movement. Some districts adopted pieces of the program before the pandemic undermined the ability of many students to keep up academically. Since then, many more districts have embraced it.

Last year, with Feldman’s help, Boston Public Schools approved a shift to equity grading. In Oregon, Portland Public Schools is making plans to implement similar grading reforms by 2025, and thousands of New York City and Los Angeles teachers have been trained in equitable grading practices. Smaller districts in California, Nevada, New York, and other states have also adopted the program.

A Boon for Education Consultants

Feldman’s program calls for a profound change in grading practices that raises fundamental questions about human motivation. He believes the traditional practice of grading almost everything a student does is antiquated and superficial. It relies on the extrinsic motivation for points, turning students into grade grubbers, rather than the intrinsic desire to learn because the subject is inspiring and meaningful.

The consultant says the pre-eminence of grades disproportionately harms disadvantaged students, who often get dinged for missing homework, late assignments, and misbehavior – issues that can stem from a lack of parental support and resources at home, research shows.

Feldman asserts that schools have a “moral obligation” to close the achievement gap, and his fix is far-reaching: no points for daily homework and classroom behavior, eliminating the distinction in the gradebook between students who lead discussions and those who disrupt them, and no penalties for the late submission of assignments, which shouldn’t be given much weight in grading.

Grades are all about tests. Teachers assess only what really matters – learning – based on a set of well-defined standards and demonstrated on a test at the end of a unit. This summative evaluation doesn’t really count either, because students who don’t ace it get a chance to review their mistakes and take the exam again, and possibly a third time. It’s better to encourage them to master the material, the consultant says, than accept a demoralizing low mark.

Here’s the kicker: Even the student who keeps failing the test, or doesn’t show up to take it, gets 50% credit. On a 100-point scale, Feldman says, a zero is disproportionately punitive for the lowest mark, when a passing grade begins at 60%.

Teachers who support Feldman’s program say it gives them better insight into students’ academic progress and problems, making them more effective. “I have more meaningful conversations with students about the English standards and how grades are not arbitrary points for effort, but directly reflect their knowledge of the skills,” said Savannah Berry, a high school English teacher in the predominately Latino and black San Leandro district in California.

Fewer Students Fail

School districts and their elected boards tout the program’s main result – fewer kids fail – and that plays well politically in many communities. In an examination of four high schools that have embraced grading for equity, non-white students had 37% fewer Ds and Fs at the end of a school year, and white students, no longer benefiting from extra credit and good behavior points, saw a 19% drop in As, according to a report by Feldman’s firm.

In Virginia’s diverse Fairfax County Public Schools, the significant drop in Ds and Fs for blacks and Latinos led to a 4% increase in the graduation rate between 2018 and 2022.

Critics dismiss such progress as a mirage produced by lenient practices that inflate low grades. Students are also getting the wrong message about the importance of meeting expectations, several teachers told RCI, leading some to blow off studying and just coast. With less focus in class, more kids are also misbehaving.

Zenaida Perez says half of the teachers in her Fairfax district, the largest in Virginia, oppose grading for equity but are afraid to speak up because they fear retaliation. “At least 30 percent of my students definitely make less effort,” said Perez, who has taught in the district for 16 years. “Sometimes they do not come to school and I still must give them a 50%. That is absolutely ridiculous.”

In some ways, Feldman’s biggest roadblock are the students, who like all humans procrastinate if given the chance. DePaul University psychologist Joe Ferrari, who has written extensively about the condition, says 20% of people are chronic procrastinators. If schools remove deadlines with penalties, he says most students would likely also delay and delay doing their work. “People will always gravitate to the easiest path,” he said. “Humans seek pleasure and avoid pain.”

The Worth of Consultants

Feldman didn’t come up with the grading practices he tirelessly promotes. He borrowed the ideas from others, including consultant Ken O’Connor, a pioneer in standards-based grading, and reframed them with a lens on equity for disadvantaged kids.

“All of the basic ideas in Feldman’s book are exactly the same as my guidelines,” said O’Connor, who published his first paper on standards-based grading in 1995. “His popularity is probably from having the right idea at the right time. I respect his work.”

Feldman’s boutique shop in Oakland, Calif., operates with seven staffers, including a chief operations officer and a marketer. Education consultants say their fee averages between $5,000 and $10,000 a day. Feldman says he might charge a couple hundred thousand dollars to help a district roll out his program over three years.

“We are not making much money,” he said. “If people think I’m buying a boat, that is not happening. I’m not trying to gouge districts.”

Consultants tap into the big bucket of funds that districts set aside for the professional development of teachers. In a study by education nonprofit TNTP, districts spent about $18,000 per teacher each year, or the equivalent of perhaps a third of their salaries, on “PD,” as it’s known.

The study and other research found that despite spending almost 20 days a year in PD sessions, most teachers don’t become more effective over time because of the training. They learn more from classroom experience and peers than from consultants who often pitch the latest educational gimmicks, says Tim Daly, the president of TNTP when the 2015 study was done.

“Teachers don’t see PD as a primary vehicle for improving,” said Daly, a former teacher and now CEO of EdNavigator. “It’s something for the most part that they tolerate, not something that they look forward to.”

That’s particularly true when consultants push ambitious programs like grading for equity. At its core, it requires a new way of thinking about education for everyone in a school, overturning an embedded tradition that awards points on a frequent basis to keep students on track toward a final goal of a good grade. Since many students have yet to develop executive functioning skills, or the ability to create their own study plan and stick to it, external pressures from deadlines play a key role in education, researchers say.

For students to develop a new mindset about the value of doing work without getting an immediate reward takes a tremendous amount of persistence and encouragement by teachers, says O’Connor, who has consulted with schools in 47 states. He says students must think like athletes, who devote themselves to weeks of hard practice in hopes of later excelling in a competition. One school brought in a football coach to give students pep talks on the importance of practice.

Beyond the students, all the stakeholders in a district have to be willing to change their views on the role of grading. While board members debate the practices for months, and teachers sit in days of training, administrators must sell the plan to families and deal with the inevitable complaints and protests. Even the district’s grading software needs to be updated.

A Report Card on Grading for Equity

The report card on grading for equity is mixed. After districts hire Feldman and start making changes, a “significant number” abandon the project, the consultant says. A lack of follow-through from school leaders to stick with the overhaul and opposition from teachers are often to blame.

New York City made a mess of grading for equity. While suffering an exodus of students in the wake of the pandemic, officials tapped Feldman for help. Teachers in District 6 attended his workshop at the National Museum of the American Indian. They received a copy of Feldman’s book and were urged to bring his ideas back to their schools and lead the effort to implement them.

Janessa Tamayo, a high school math teacher who attended the training session, says she initially saw value in the program for her students from low-income families. But the grading changes she made backfired, with fewer students participating in class and doing homework. When she offered retakes on tests, she was frustrated that many students didn’t bother to take them.

“To participate and turn assignments in on time is a life skill these students need to learn to be successful,” Tamayo said. “Grading for equity works fine for the small percentage of kids who are highly motivated. For the rest, it encouraged them to do the minimum.”

After teachers tested the program for a year, Tamayo says, administrators never followed up to assess its effect. No one collected data and asked for feedback. The program just faded away. Teachers like Tamayo have mostly returned to their old grading practices.

Arlington Public Schools in Virginia had big plans for Feldman, hiring him for what was envisioned to be a three-year project. But teachers at Wakefield High, a school with mostly Latino and black students, sent a letter to the board and superintendent, saying the changes would harm students by removing accountability and high expectations. Early this year, the district backtracked on several of Feldman’s practices, allowing penalties for late work and limiting retakes of exams.

“It’s the politics of the place, whose voices are loud,” Feldman said of the rollback in Arlington. “They could resolve it and continue down the path.”

To be sure, some districts make it to the finish line. Solon, a small, mostly white and high-achieving district near Iowa City, pulled off grading reform, thanks to the devotion of its then leader, Matt Townsley. It took four sometimes rocky years, with a handful of teachers quitting.

Townsley, now a professor of education and consultant, says districts must hang on through the tough times to get through the “implementation dip.” Initially, there’s a big decline in effort, with some districts seeing less than half of the students doing their work. But eventually, the vast majority of students get over the dip, realizing that practice prevents them from bombing the test, and taking it again.

Placer Union, another small and predominately white district in Northern California, also made it work. With Feldman’s support, the high-performing district directly involved teachers in shaping the program – a key to winning their support. For students who used to struggle and give up, retakes on exams gives them hope that they can achieve academically, says Superintendent Jeff Tooker.

“This process takes patience, support, communication, grace, and a lot of time,” he said.

Are Students Learning More?

Even for districts that fully implement grading for equity, a big question looms: Does it result in more learning, the ultimate goal of public education? No one knows for sure. Feldman says he would like to know if his program improves state test scores, the most objective measurement of learning, but researchers haven’t tackled this question.

Several studies, including a peer-reviewed examination by Fordham’s research director Adam Tyner, have looked at what happens with learning when grading standards are lifted – test scores go up too. Tyner says students strive to meet the expectations that teachers set for them, whether high or low.

“The grading for equity advocates don’t have any research showing that their changes lead to greater learning, and that’s very concerning,” said Tyner.

American Stasi Chapter Five, featuring the surveillance in rural Montana, is done for the book, converted to html, and up at the site. This is exactly what will be in the book, only the book will feature the links as endnotes. You can begin to see where the book is going and how it works. Next up, SoCal, and then Alaska. It is an exercise in cognitive conditioning, in Pavlovian fashion, which will force readers to see the surveillance, in the book and in their real lives. And once they are so trained, we show them the surveillance killed Irah Sok, and then we show them everyone from John Lang to Michael Hastings, to Brian Mancini, as well as the Gilgo Beach Killer. If we can make everyone aware of it, it will be the most influential book out there since the Bible, and certainly the most influential book in the history of America. It will change history. And I have a marketing plan to make that happen.

I am not smart enough to come up with that whole thing myself. This is God, working through me, and it is why I have no doubt we will take the surveillance down, in His name, and free our nation. Things are fucked up, but it is a glorious time to be alive. We, all of us here, are going to free our kind, and our kind will remember us for it throughout history.

San Jose Mayor’s security detail isn’t going to be stopping anybody who wants to from killing him. The way I know surveillance won’t last ten seconds when the shit touches off is they run cops by me, I think because they think it will intimidate me or something. In their mind, I think they see cops as some kind of Jedi knights, trained in the fine art of death. I trained with cops. None of the cops I trained with could beat me in hand to hand, when I was like 19 or 20. And one was a genuine city cop, not a house mouse. He was out there in the ghetto, and would relate all the weird improvised weapons he came across chasing down and scrumming with scumbags who had no money, and would thus make the weirdest improvised weapons. He’d pull like a 2 foot cross between a roman short sword and an ambassador’s knife out of some guy’s pants, who made it, painstakingly, from steel he took off some staircase in the projects  like he was a medieval blacksmith. He and I were doing ground work once, and bantering, and I asked him, which weapon he carried. I knew his department gave its officers a choice, Smith, Sig, or Glock. He said he carried a Smith. Sig was classy and elite. Glock was the ultra-reliable workhorse, and easy to clean. But those old stainless Smiths, never really had a reputation. I asked why he chose the Smith, and he said he didn’t want to have to go to the range to qualify with a semi-automatic. Yep. That dude who was nose to nose with the scum of his city was still carrying a revolver. In like the late nineties.  Because he was too lazy to go to the range. And he didn’t even carry when we went places. I remember saying, why don’t you have your gun?  He said there was no point in carrying, nothing would happen. And though he did grappling martial arts, it wasn’t his life. He wasn’t watching tapes and replaying them and visualizing what some attack or defense. The thing with most cops is, they are well adjusted. The guy above is well adjusted. He has a wife, and kids, and probably doesn’t have his threat-perceptions warped to see some ultra-dangerous society where he will have to kill someone sooner or later simply because that is how the world is. But as a result, he is being a good parent and pleasing his wife, and not training to fuck somebody up in hand to hand because  he assumes he is going to be attacked tomorrow. And when the shit hits the fan it shows. He doesn’t even want to keep scrumming at the end. And the mayor’s staff is even worse.  It never even crosses their mind to jump in and help. Meanwhile the mal-adjusted guy is bouncing up and down having a ball. Cabal, I think, has spent great effort mal-adjusting a lot of people on our side throughout our youth. And they are mal-adjusting more now by fucking up society this badly. And they have never really gotten mal-adjusted themselves, hiding in their houses microwaving people, so they are like ultra-rabbits. I suspect some day that will bite them in the ass. Who knows, we may even bring that day about ourselves with American Stasi. May the mal-adjusted, one day run free.

Revealed: Court Document Release Indicates Jack Smith and FBI Were After Obama- and North Korea-Related Documents in Mar-a-Lago Raid

By: Guest Contributor — April 25th 2024 at 09:30

Guest post by Joe Hoft at JoeHoft.com – republished with permission.

Newly unredacted documents in the Mar-a-Lago raid case indicate that Jack Smith was after Obama and North Korea-related documents.

After the raid the DOJ was pleased with their findings and wrote, “I think we are in good shape.”

President Trump said two years after he met Obama before his 2017 Inauguration that Obama was on the brink of starting a war with North Korea. Trump claimed that Obama was “close to starting a big war” with North Korea.

Obama must not have liked this.

The corrupt and criminal Obama/Biden gang was after documents related to North Korea years later when it raided President Trump’s iconic home of Mar-a-Lago and took President Trump’s documents that he legally had possession of per the Presidential Records Act.

Julie Kelly touched upon this in the latest revelations coming out of the corrupt Biden/Obama/Jack Smith classified documents case against President Trump. The latest unredacted documents that Jack Smith argued not to release show that the Obama/Biden gang was working with multiple government organizations to set up President Trump.

But there is more. Per a document released this week after months of fighting to make the documents available to the American Public, there is a clue as to what the corrupt Biden/Obama gang was after in its raid of Mar-a-Lago. Not only did the regime want to take back all documents that President Trump had possession of that highlighted their crimes, but the regime wanted another key document or set of documents as well.

The corrupt and criminal Biden/Obama regime had to conjure up a reason for why they raided President Trump’s home and stole his documents. They apparently had their reason outlined before they raided President Trump’s home and stole documents he legally had in his possession per the Presidential Records Act.

In the document below there is a clue:

The first document above is a report that was generated after the raid that provides a clue as to what they were after – and it’s not only the accordion folder of Deep State crimes.

“There is one accordian [sp] folder in the mess so it stood out. It contained, among other things, the Obama letter and North Korea correspondence. We need to verify that all of the correspondence is there. But I think we are in good shape.”

The DOJ writes “I think we are in good shape”.

We can guess but based on the corrupt Biden/Obama DOJ’s actions to date, we know that for this regime to believe they were “in good shape”, they were either happy about what they obtained that removed the risk of their crimes being exposed, or they were happy about obtaining documents they were going to use to set up President Trump (North Korea communications), or both.

Why was the DOJ so intent on obtaining Obama and North Korea related documents from President Trump’s home?

Armed Secret Service Agent Assigned to Kamala Harris Gets Into Fight with Other Agents at Joint Base Andrews, Has to be Physically Restrained

Vice President Kamala Harris is interviewed by ABC's "This Week" in a piece that aired Sunday.

An armed Secret Service agent assigned to Kamala Harris got into a physical fight with other agents at Joint Base Andrews on Monday morning.

According to reports, the problem agent began acting aggressively, speaking gibberish and shouting incoherently at other agents while they were near the lounge at JBA.

The problem agent had to be physically restrained and his firearm was taken away from him. He was handcuffed and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

One other agent was also hospitalized.

Kamala Harris was at the Naval Observatory at the time of the fight.

“The USSS remains in a temporary holding pattern until further information becomes available, the sources said. After the agent receives additional medical attention and further evaluation, it will be determined if they can return to work. An internal review will be conducted and the USSS will assess if the agent’s top secret security clearance will be removed for medical or disciplinary reasons, sources explained.” CBS News reported.

CBS News reported:

A U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris exhibited “distressing behavior” Monday morning at Joint Base Andrews and was hospitalized, authorities said. Harris was not present at the airbase at the time.

In a statement provided to CBS News, the U.S. Secret Service said that at about 9 a.m. local time Monday, the agent “began displaying behavior their colleagues found distressing. The agent was removed from their assignment while medical personnel were summoned.”

Two sources briefed on the situation told CBS News the agent spouted gibberish, was speaking incoherently and provoked another officer physically.

According to sources, the agent in question pushed the special agent in charge while they were near the lounge of Joint Base Andrews.

There are reportedly DEI concerns about the hiring of the problem agent involved in the fight.

Student Protester at NYU Appears Unaware Why She is Even There – Turns to Question Friend (VIDEO)

By: Mike LaChance — April 24th 2024 at 21:00

A video that has gone viral on social media shows a student protester at New York University who seems confused about why she is even there.

As often happens in a moment like this, young progressives will flock to a protest or cause without understanding all of the details. They just know that their friends on the left are doing it and therefore it must be a good cause.

This is so telling about this entire movement.

Newsweek reports:

Woman’s Reason for Joining Pro-Palestinian Protest Goes Viral

A woman’s reasoning for joining a pro-Palestinian protest at New York University (NYU) has gone viral on social media this week.

On Wednesday, former New York City Mayor and lawyer to former President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, showcasing an interview with a pro-Palestinian protester.

In the video, the individual is asked about the goal of protesters at NYU, to which the person responded, “I think the goal is showing our support for Palestine and demanding that NYU stops.”

“I honestly don’t know all of what NYU is doing … I really don’t know,” the individual says.

As the video continues, the individual is seen speaking to another fellow protester and asking if she is aware of why they are protesting.

“I wish I was more educated,” the second protester is heard saying.

Here’s the video:

QUESTION: "Why are you protesting?"

PROTESTER #1: "I don't know. I'm pretty sure there's something about Israel [turns to other person] Why are we protesting?"

They’re not protestors they’re just bored teenagers and young adults.

Completely oblivious to what they’re part of and what they’re doing there.

My guess is a lot.

Liberal Utopia: New California Law Could Terminate Up to 500,000 Jobs

By: Warner Todd Huston, The Western Journal — April 24th 2024 at 20:40

The leftist legislators in California have done it again, making things more difficult for the very low-income people they claimed to be helping, this time with a law that is throwing thousands of minimum wage earners out of their jobs.

As Ronald Reagan used to say, the scariest words in the English language are “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help,” and California has once again proven that quip to be a hardbound truth.

Economics has always been a concept that liberals cannot understand. Deep-blue California’s recent passing of Assembly Bill 1228, forcing certain — but not all — fast-food restaurants to wildly raise their minimum wage by up to $4 an hour all at once, is having the unintended consequence of costing people their jobs, not enriching their lives.

As CNBC noted, the state has more than 500,000 fast-food workers, but now many of them are under threat of losing their jobs.

This month, the left coast state’s new $20-per-hour minimum wage took effect on the fast-food industry. Business owners have responded by putting in more electronic ordering devices and firing costly human employees.

The new wage hike comes on the tail of the disastrous COVID shutdowns that devastated the restaurant industry, causing profit margins to plummet. Just as restaurants in California were starting to regain their footing, the left-wing legislature weighed them down with this new wage law.

The warning by Burger King franchise owner Harsh Ghai is on target: Ghai said that the costly new wage law has forced him to put in place a plan to add electronic ordering kiosks at his 140 locations within two months, Business Insider reported.

Ghai even pointed out that prices for customers at fast-food places have gone up between eight and 10 percent in the past year, when prices usually only go up by about three percent a year. And this new wage law will make that problem worse.

“The majority of that is going to get absorbed in the inflation of our food costs,” he said of the higher costs the state is imposing on restaurants. “So we’re not even compensating for most of the labor costs that we’re going to be experiencing with this legislation.”

Ghai added that the higher prices — already in effect before the higher staffing costs began hitting business owners — are driving customers away. So, instead of raising prices further, the easiest way is to cut the number of employees.

The businessman added that he has revisited plans to roll out electronic, self-ordering kiosks over a 10-year period across his 140 locations and will now add them in a matter of months.

“[W]e are just going ahead and installing the kiosks in every single restaurant in response to the legislation to be able to balance some of these labor costs that are hitting us,” he said.

“We can’t move fast enough on this,” Ghai told Business Insider.

“We’ve done the financial analysis and it makes more sense for us to spend the capital expenditure on the technology, and obviously when you’re buying large amounts of the hardware, you obviously get it for a cheaper price as well,” he added.

“So it’s making more sense for us to just roll that across the business in its entirety,” he said.

Other restaurant chains have responded by firing hundreds of employees. A large number of pizza chains in California immediately fired their delivery drivers earlier this year after the law passed, including Pizza Hut and Southern California Pizza Co. stores in the state.

Many restaurants have even simply closed down rather than face barely scraping, by thanks to the higher costs imposed on them.

Still other restaurants are looking at plans to try locations that have no dining area and no cashiers at all. Chick-fil-A, for instance, is testing its “grab and go” locations where customers order exclusively online or via an app and pick up their order at a drive-through at a location with no cashiers and no eat-in area.

California’s left-wing legislature is causing every fast-food customer to dish out more for their food. But it is also costing tens of thousands of people their jobs. The legislature’s actions are having the exact opposite effect of what they intended.
