State Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan cleared the courtroom Monday over a dramatic spat with the defense’s first main witness, Robert Costello. From the piece – “Mr. Costello, a lawyer who once spoke to Trump lawyer-turned-accuser Michael Cohen, seemed to take exception to one of Judge Merchan’s objection rulings, uttering “Jeez,” and then sighing, “Strike it.” “You don’t say ‘jeez.’ And you don’t say “strike it,’ because I’m the only one who strikes it,” Judge Merchan told Mr. Costello”

The type of treatment Costello, an experienced prosecutor who once worked for the US Attorney’s Office for New York in the 1970s and early 1980s, is receiving on the witness stand from the judge is disgusting,” Paul Ingrassia said.
“Merchan is visibly perturbed, condescending, and downright abusive of the witness on the stand. Outrageous behavior from a judge, and totally inappropriate for any courtroom! No decorum whatsoever!” Ingrassia said.
BREAKING: Judge Merchan is extremely limiting the scope of what the Defense expert witness can testify to.
The defense is attempting to bring a former commissioner from the FEC, who happens to also be a lawyer, as their expert to the witness stand, presumably to ask and clarify for the jury, in part, why this case has not been preempted (or ‘barred’) by federal law, since this case is, after all, allegedly a federal election law violation.
Judge Merchan is not allowing the Defense to clarify the meanings of technical legal jargon for the jury. He seems to not be allowing them to read statutes or ask statute-related questions, or ask about how the law has been previously interpreted by other courts.
Merchan is attempting to restrict the direct examination to very general questions, and it’s obvious why: this case should not be in state court at all! If the law was being fairly applied, this case would not have gotten off the ground in the first place!

The remark, seemingly out of the blue from the legendary singer and actress whose career in Hollywood and on Broadway has spanned more than five decades, immediately attracted criticism as well as a fact-check.
Critics pointed out that Clinton is on the record questioning the results of the election she lost to former President Donald Trump.
“There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” Clinton said in October 2020 during an interview on The Atlantic’s politics podcast, The Ticket. “We still don’t know what really happened.”
“There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” Clinton continued. “But you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.”

What is going on with our justice system?
David DePape, the man who attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul has already faced a trial, was convicted, and sentenced to 30 years in jail. His crime took place in October of 2022.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Roske, who showed up at the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a gun and other dangerous items with the intention of killing him, has not even gone on trial yet. And his crime happened months before the attack on Paul Pelosi!

Roske was indicted for attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice nearly two years ago in June 2022, after allegedly traveling from his parent’s home in California to the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., with the intent to kill Kavanaugh. Roske, a biological male who identified in some online posts as a transgender woman, was upset over the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, according to court documents…
“It’s noteworthy that after nearly two years, there is still no trial date or plea agreement in this case,” Gerard Filitti, senior counsel at The Lawfare Project, told the Free Beacon. “While pretrial motions would resolve questions about the admissibility of some of the evidence, including statements made by Roske, there is no underlying procedural reason why it would take this long to get to trial.”

Illegal immigrants are apparently paying attention to political poll numbers in the United States.
Many of them are afraid that Trump is going to win in November and they’re rushing to the border as a result. They’re afraid that the free-for-all they have enjoyed under Biden will be all over and the border will finally come to an end.
Say what you will about these people, but they’re not stupid. They know Biden is in their corner and that Trump is serious about border security.

Migrants are coming to the US now because they fear President Biden could lose re-election in November and Donald Trump will shut the border.
Colombian brothers Ricardo, 20, and Sebastian, 18, spoke with The Post after crossing the Arizona border illegally last week.
They said they had been receiving assistance at the Yuma Regional Center for Border Health as they waited for a bus to the Phoenix airport, where they later caught a flight to New Jersey.
“We think with the elections, it will be harder,” Ricardo said.
“We don’t want Trump,” Sebastian said.
The brothers claimed asylum after they crossed the southern border and turned themselves in to Border Patrol agents in Yuma. They said they faced threats from criminals in Colombia, leading them to flee.
The Trump campaign could make an ad based on this report.

Left wing loons who support Hamas tried to heckle comedian Jerry Seinfeld during a recent live show. These people are dedicated to ruining experiences for people, whether it’s college graduation ceremonies or even a comedy show.
The crowd at Jerry’s show was having none of it. In addition to chanting Jerry’s name, they got security to remove the people. Jerry hit back with comments, too.
Mind you, this is all because Jerry Seinfeld is Jewish and supports Israel.

The audience immediately greeted the heckler with a torrent of boos and told him to “shut up and get out.”

For his part, Seinfeld refused to take it lying down and immediately roasted the heckler.
“This is fun. I like this. I think your message is really resonating with the crowd. People seem to be on your side,” Seinfeld said in jest.
“How dare you support a genocide!” the heckler shot back.
“I like it when the Jew-haters spice up the show,” Seinfeld quipped.

Not only did Cohen admit to stealing from Donald Trump but he also admitted to having a financial interest in the result of the case, and admitted he would lie if it affected his personal life!

Michael Cohen admitted he has a financial interest in the outcome of Alvin Bragg’s lawfare case against Trump.

The assassination attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has sent geopolitical ripples across Europe and the world, as the populist leader represented a new force that challenged mainstream EU and NATO views on Ukraine and a whole host of other issues.
Now, it is reported that the suspect in his shooting an may not have been just a ‘lone wolf’ as previously believed.
The Slovakian interior minister stated as much, as their security services try to clarify the circumstances of the attack.
Fico is reportedly no longer in immediate danger but his condition is still very serious.
The five shots that hit him marked the first major assassination attempt on a European political leader in more than 20 years.
Reuters reported:
“Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said an investigation team had been set up, which would also look into whether the suspect acted as part of a group of people that had been encouraging each other to carry out an assassination.
One factor suggesting the involvement of other persons was that the suspect’s internet communications were deleted two hours after the assassination attempt, but not by the suspect and most likely not by his wife, Estok said. This indicated ‘the crime may have been committed by a certain group of people’, Estok told a news conference.”
Deputy Prime Minister Robert Kalinak said that, while Fico’s life was no longer in immediate danger, his condition is too serious for a move to a hospital in the capital Bratislava.
“‘The worst that we feared has (not happened), at least for the time being’, Kalinak told a news conference outside the hospital where Fico is being treated in the central Slovak city of Banska Bystrica. ‘We are all a little calmer. When we were saying that we want to get closer to a positive prognosis, then I believe that we are a step closer to that’, he added.”
The shooting suspect, Juraj Cintula, will remain in custody after being charged with attempted murder. He is a 71-year-old former security guard at a shopping mall.
“Estok said on Thursday that the suspect was angered by the government’s Ukraine policy. Fico’s government has ended official military support for Ukraine and taken a more pro-Russian line on the conflict than most European Union partners.
The government has said he became radicalized after Fico ally Peter Pellegrini won a presidential election last month, and that he had told police about his dissatisfaction with the government’s reforms of the prosecution service and public media – criticized by the opposition a well as the European Commission.”

A weird trend has been emerging worldwide where well-off women are paying thousands of dollars to go deep into the woods and scream like hyenas at the top of their lungs while smashing sticks.
USA Today reported that these events, known as rage rituals, have garnered attention on social media platforms, including TikTok. Women who have partaken in these events claim they are inspired to see other females manifest their anger.
Mia Banducci, an author and self-proclaimed “Spiritual Fairy Godmother,” is one of the individuals organizing these retreats. She told the outlet this month that the retreats help release negative feelings and increase happiness elsewhere in participants’ lives.
“When people do this and give themselves permission to release their anger, their capacity for joy actually expands,” she said. “They’re able to feel more happiness and pleasure, and they go home to their families with more gratitude and ease and peace.”
Banducci has led rage rituals for several years. She started doing them for herself before offering them to the general public.
These retreats can cost participants between $2,000 and $4,000. Banducci offers a one-day version for $222 per ticket.

The process of a rage ritual is simple. Banducci explained to USA Today that participants first grab big sticks while thinking about “every person who’s ever crossed you, who’s ever hurt you, who’s ever ignored your boundaries or taken advantage of you or abused you in any way.”
After taking warm-up breaths, the contestants start screaming and swinging the sticks for at least 20 minutes or until their arms go limp.
Banducci claims the ritual is held in the woods so participants can scream without annoying people nearby.
Kimberly Helmus, a cybersecurity engineer, told the outlet that she experienced surprising feelings while on her first rage ritual in Scotland with Banducci two and a half years ago.
Helmus said she believed the event would address the fury she felt toward her ex-husband after their divorce. But she instead felt a sadness she’d been holding in since witnessing a friend’s death when she was 15 years old.
“I remember it was a very clear, light-switch moment where I was like, ‘Oh, that’s what this is about,'” she explained. “So many times, I think you can’t really feel a lot of stuff until you work through it.”
USA Today points out that while Banducci may be the most prominent figure leading these crazy rituals, she is far from alone. Secret Sanctuary, for example, is scheduled to host a “Sacred Rage Ceremony” in Alberta, Canada, in July.
Author Jessica Ricchetti, an author and self-described mystic, will hold a “Sacred Rage” women’s retreat in North Carolina in June.

Pope Francis has come out against efforts to control America’s borders, arguing that attempting to stop the invasion at the U.S.-Mexico border would be “sheer madness.”
In a 60 Minutes interview with Norah O’Donnell, Francis denounced efforts by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to shut down a Catholic charity that is enabling the passage of thousands of illegal aliens across the southern border.
“Migration is something that makes a country grow,” he said. “They say that you Irish migrated and brought the whiskey, and that the Italians migrated and brought the mafia. Migrants sometimes suffer a lot. They suffer a lot.”
“To close the border and leave them there, that is madness,” he continued. “Migrants have to be welcomed. Thereafter, you see how you are going to deal with them. Maybe you have to send them back, I don’t know, but each case ought to be considered humanely.”
Over the weekend, Paxton filed a fresh complaint against Annunciation House for its role in enabling the crisis at the southern border and warned that other charities involved in such illegal activities will face similar actions.
“Any NGO (non-governmental organization) facilitating the unlawful entry of illegal aliens into Texas is undermining the rule of law and potentially jeopardizing the safety and wellbeing of our citizens,” Paxton wrote in a press release.
“All NGOs who are complicit in (President) Joe Biden’s illegal immigration catastrophe and think they are above the law should consider themselves on notice.”
At another point in the wide-ranging interview, Francis accused conservatives of having a “suicidal attitude” to life and politics.
“You use an adjective – conservative. That is conservative is one who clings to something and does not want to see beyond that,” Francis argued.
“It is a suicidal attitude. Because one thing is to take tradition into account. To consider situations from the past. But quite another to be closed up inside a dogmatic box.”
The Argentinian, who became pontiff in 2013, is notorious for hostility to conservatism and Catholic traditions. This has caused bitter divisions within the wider church, with some Catholics going so far as to call him a heretic.

Biden administration officials circulated and discussed a memo authored by a coalition of liberal groups aimed at getting more college students to participate in elections as part of the Education Department’s presidentially ordered voter-registration efforts, newly surfaced emails show.
Groups that donated millions to elect Democrats and are funded by major liberal donors submitted a list of recommendations to the Education Department in 2021 outlining ways the department could get college students, a historically liberal demographic, to vote more, according to emails obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project. [Heritage founded The Daily Signal in 2014.]
The memo recommended that the Education Department include a voter registration option on its college financial aid application, use resources to make students aware of vote-by-mail opportunities, and allow universities to use federal work-study to pay students for nonpartisan election work.
The coalition of groups sent its memo in response to President Joe Biden’s 2021 executive order directing federal agencies to promote voter registration, education, and participation, offering recommendations on how to implement it.
Nick Lee, deputy assistant secretary for higher education, shared the memo with Annmarie Weisman, another deputy assistant secretary, and Gregory Martin, another department official, emails show. Lee explained to Weisman and Martin that he had been discussing ways to implement Biden’s executive order with an Education Department policy director and that he was willing to speak further on the topic.
Lee also shared the memo with members of the Education Department’s Office of the General Counsel, again explaining that the department was in the process of finalizing responses to Biden’s voting executive order, emails show.
The Biden administration may have been receptive to at least one of the recommendations the coalition of left-of-center groups offered.
In April 2022, the Education Department clarified that universities could pay students with federal work-study funds to engage in election-related work. Although students may be compensated for voter registration work, they cannot be paid using federal funds “for work involving partisan or nonpartisan political activity, including party-affiliated voter registration activities, as this is expressly prohibited,” the department said.
In February, the Education Department expanded on the specific work that federal funds could cover, stating that “supporting broad-based get-out-the-vote activities, voter registration, providing voter assistance at a polling place or through a voter hotline or serving as a poll worker” were all acceptable.
Although Biden’s executive order stresses that agencies should tap “nonpartisan third-party organizations” to aid with voter registration efforts, the effects of registering more college students to vote could be a boon for the Democratic Party.
A September 2020 poll found that 70% of college students said they would vote for Biden in that year’s election, compared to just 18% who said they would vote for then-President Donald Trump. Strong turnout among college students in 2022 helped Democrats pull off a better-than-expected midterm election performance, NPR reported.
Heading into the November presidential election, Biden’s reelection campaign is seeking to mobilize college students.
The president held a 23-point lead over Trump among college students heading into the election, according to a Harvard Institute of Politics poll conducted in March.
The groups that sought to push the Education Department to mobilize more college voters themselves have ties to the Democratic Party.
The American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association, for instance, are both signatories of the memo and have spent millions of dollars to help elect Democrats through their political action committees, Federal Election Commission records show. Both groups endorsed Biden in the 2024 Democratic primary season and historically have supported the Democratic Party.
New America Foundation, which signed on to the memo through its education program, has received extensive support from the Soros family’s philanthropic network, pulling in millions since 2016, according to a grant database. George Soros himself has donated massive sums to Democrats and is one of the largest figures in the left-of-center philanthropic world.
The Voter Participation Center, another group that signed on to the memo, has received over $1 million from nonprofits managed by Arabella Advisors, tax filings show.
Arabella Advisors is a consultancy firm that manages a network of nonprofits that spend millions every year on efforts to help liberal groups and Democrats.
The Voter Participation Center on its website claims to work diligently to mobilize members of the “New American Majority,” which includes people of color and unmarried women, to register to vote and cast ballots.
Republicans have taken issue with the Biden administration’s approach to using federal resources to juice voter participation.
“We have concerns about the lack of constitutional and statutory authority for federal agencies to engage in any activity outside the agency’s authorized mission, including federal voting access and registration activities,” a May 13 letter from the House Oversight Committee sent to Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young reads.
The Education Department, New America, the Voter Participation Center, the National Education Association, and the American Federation of Teachers didn’t immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.

But the interaction between the two turns dark quickly, as an uninterested Trump tells his wife that he is no longer attracted to her. They argue, and then Trump throws her to the ground. As he angrily thrusts himself into her, an icy Trump sneers: “Is that your G spot? Did I find it?”
Heading into tonight’s premiere, insiders insisted that the scene, which Variety previously reported on, was consensual but uncomfortable. But reactions within the Palais said otherwise. One woman in her 20s called the scene, which unfolds in the couple’s home after an argument, “gross” and referred to it as “rape” after the credits rolled. Another female attendee agreed, calling it a disturbing sexual assault.

The national security of the United States will remain in perpetual jeopardy until the installed administration is out of office. Joe Biden is the laughing stock of the world as America’s enemies are ramping up the attacks.
The Environmental Protection Agency has issued an enforcement alert urging water systems to take immediate action to protect the nation’s drinking water from foreign cyberattacks.
Cyberattacks against water utilities across the country are becoming more frequent and severe, the agency announced Monday.
EPA officials warn approximately 70 percent of utilities inspected by federal officials over the last year violated standards designed to mitigate cyber threats.
As nation-states including Russia and Iran have impacted water systems of all sizes, even smaller water systems are being urged to improve protection against cyber attacks.
Water systems typically rely heavily on computer software to operate treatment plants and distribution systems.
The cybersecurity waters are deficient, as those running the systems failed to change default passwords or bar system access to former employees, the EPA states in the alert.
The agency notes that a cyber attack on US water systems could result in damage to pumps and valves, interruptions to water treatment and storage, and alteration of chemical levels to hazardous amounts.
EPA Deputy Administer Janet McCabe blasted water providers for the lackadaisical upkeep of cyber integrity.
“In many cases, systems are not doing what they are supposed to be doing, which is to have completed a risk assessment of their vulnerabilities that includes cybersecurity and to make sure that plan is available and informing the way they do business,” McCabe said.
Individuals and groups have targeted water provider’s networks for ages, often attacking websites. Now, attackers are targeting utilities’ operations and governments are intent on draining the supply of safe water to homes and businesses.
China, Russia and Iran are “actively seeking the capability to disable US critical infrastructure, including water and wastewater,” McCabe continued. “We want to make sure that we get the word out to people that ‘Hey, we are finding a lot of problems here.'”
In January, a hack linked to a Russian “hacktivist” group caused a small Texas town’s water system to overflow.
“Cyber Av3ngers,” a group linked to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, targeted multiple organizations including a small Pennsylvania town’s water provider late last year. The attack forced the water provider to switch from a remote pump to manual operations. The hackers were targeting a device produced by Israel and used by the utility on the heels of the latest Israel, Hamas war.
An estimated 150,000 community water providers serve small towns and cities nationwide.
On Monday, the White House sent a letter to US governors, warning that “disabling” cyberattacks targeting water systems are underway nationwide. The White House and the EPA invited state officials to a meeting slated for Thursday to address how to improve digital defense for the thousands of utilities.
The EPA is also establishing a waste sector cybersecurity task force to outline strategies to defend against the threat.
The letter also charged the Chinese-sponsored hacking group Volt Typhoon with targeting critical infrastructure sectors like drinking water in the U.S. as an example of the threat.

Democrats may have effectively convinced their base during the Trump administration that building a wall and securing a border is racist.
But the Biden regime’s open border policies, in which illegal aliens from around the world are given free housing, transportation, the opportunity to vote, and get-out-of-jail cards to reside in the United States indefinitely, is outraging voters on both sides of the aisle.
A whopping 56 percent of registered voters said most or all illegal aliens in the US should be rounded up and kicked out of the country, according to a new Reuters/Ispos poll.
The poll shows 36 percent of voters support incarcerating illegal aliens in detention camps until they are deported.
Ten percent surveyed were unsure whether they should be detained in camps.
“Voters’ views on immigration align more with [Biden’s] predecessor, Donald Trump, who vows to crack down on migrants if he beats Biden in the 2024 presidential contest,” Daily Mail reports.
Pressed on the possibility of building new migrant detention camps, Trump maintains the deportation process for illegals will be so swift when he returns to office there will not be a need for building additional detention centers.
“I would not rule anything out,” the former president told TIME Magazine in April. “There wouldn’t be that much of a need for them, because of the fact that we’re going to be moving them out. We’re going to bring them back from where they came.”
“It’s possible that we’ll do it to an extent but we shouldn’t have to do very much of it, because we’re going to be moving them out as soon as we get to it. And we’ll be obviously starting with the criminal element.”
A staggering 85 percent of Republican voters said most or all immigrants in the US illegally should be deported, compared to 26 percent of Democrats and 61 percent of independents.
Some 62 percent of registered Republicans agreed, compared to 12 percent of Democrats and 35 percent of Independents.
Reuters conducted the online poll which surveyed 3,208 registered voters nationwide.
Democrat voters are even more agitated by the migrant crisis in major cities like New York. Another recent poll shows 75 percent of Democrat voters see the migrant crisis as “very serious” following an influx of 130,000 illegal aliens in the past year.
Meanwhile, as Joe Biden’s mental faculties ostensibly decline, the 81-year-old has welcomed migrants from around the world with open arms.
As soon as Biden took office, hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens were being provided yellow envelopes as they boarded planes to different states across the country.
Infowars reporter Owen Shroyer documented the massive influx of migrants and the illegal human trafficking operation at the southern border in March 2021, three months into the OBiden administration.
Military aged males comprise the plurality of migrants flooding into the United States.
In the run-up to the election, amid an outcry of traditionally Democrat voters over the rampant illegal immigrant influx, the Biden regime is desperately toughening its approach to the border, pandering for political advantage.
According to agency statistics, ICE began to deport some of the millions that now reside in the US at the end of last year, removing 66,000 people from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2023, the most aggressive attempt to deport the illegals, upholding the rule of law, by the Biden administration yet.
It remains unclear how many people are in the United States illegally.

Austin Maddox, a former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, has been arrested in an underage sex sting in Florida, as confirmed by authorities on Monday.
Maddox is among 27 individuals apprehended during a coordinated effort by multiple agencies led by Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters last month. The individuals arrested are accused of soliciting sex online from persons they believed to be minors.
Below are some of the suspects arrested in the ‘Operation Valiant Knights:’
James Hill, Maddox’s defense attorney, stated his client’s intention to vigorously contest the accusations.
He will plead not guilty if formal charges are pursued, according to Hill per AP.
According to the arrest report, on April 28, Maddox initiated contact with an undercover officer who was posing as an underage girl.
Despite being informed by the purported minor of her age, 14, Maddox reportedly continued to express a desire to engage in sexual activity and arranged a meeting at a specified location. Law enforcement officers arrested him upon his arrival.
Dramatic footage released by the sheriff’s office captures the moment when officers tackled Maddox to the ground during the arrest.
“Maddox resisted arrest until our K-9 unit intervened,” the video narration explains.
Maddox faces multiple felony charges, including traveling to meet a minor after using a computer to solicit a child. He is currently held on a $300,000 bond.

CBS News reported: “Maddox played college ball for the University of Florida and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2012. He made his major league debut with the team in 2017 after several years in the minors. According to Baseball Reference, he appeared in 13 games for Boston in 2017, throwing 17 innings. He spent about three months on the Red Sox roster before heading back to the minors to recover from shoulder injuries. He was released from the team in 2019.”
Additionally, one of the 27 individuals arrested in the operation was a school employee. Jax Today reported, “Duval County school maintenance worker Kevin Bryan Pearce is still jailed on $400,000 bail on five charges including coercing commercial sexual activity of an adult for human trafficking and traveling to meet a child after using a computer to solicit them, jail records show.”

The Gateway Pundit revealed last week that Red Lobster was in danger of bankruptcy after closing 127 locations in 27 states. Now, the famous seafood joint’s fall is complete, thanks mainly to Bidenomics.
As the Daily Mail reported, Red Lobster officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Sunday night. The chain revealed in a court filing late Sunday Red Lobster’s estimated assets are between $1 billion and $10 billion, while its estimated liabilities are between $1 billion and $10 billion.
Red Lobster also has more than 100,000 creditors.
The Mail notes the bankruptcy petition was signed by Jonathan Tibus, a corporate restructuring specialist who became Red Lobster’s CEO in March.
Tibus released a statement claiming that filing for bankruptcy is “the best path forward” and the company will emerge more robust as a result.
This restructuring is the best path forward for Red Lobster. It allows us to address several financial and operational challenges and emerge stronger and re-focused on our growth.
The support we’ve received from our lenders and vendors will help ensure that we can complete the sale process quickly and efficiently while remaining focused on our employees and guests.
NPR reports that roughly 580 locations in the U.S. and Canada will stay open through the process. These locations combine to employ approximately 36,000 workers.
Biden’s garbage economy has made dining out in America more expensive. Fast food prices, for example, have skyrocketed a whopping 33% since 2019 as Bidenflation continues to make the dollar more worthless.
Red Lobster launched an ill-advised $25 “endless shrimp’” promotion in a desperate attempt to attract customers. The offer was introduced last June as a permanent fixture on the menu.
More people took advantage of the offer than Red Lobster expected, but the company kept it going for six months.
The losses exceeded the $3.3 million lost under a similar promotion scheme in 2003.
Red Lobster was founded by Bill Darden in 1968. Darden wanted to make seafood restaurants more accessible and affordable for American families. He later sold the company to General Mills in 1970.
General Mills later formed Darden Restaurants, which has multiple other restaurant chains, including Olive Garden. They spun Red Lobster off in 1995.
Red Lobster currently operates 700 locations worldwide.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has come a long way from 2016 when he was destroyed by the morbidly obese RINO Chris Christie in a critical debate and branded “Little Marco” by then-candidate Donald Trump.
During a Sunday appearance on “Meet the Press” with leftist host Kristen Welker, Rubio discussed illegal immigration, abortion, and the 2024 election. Things got particularly heated when the discussion turned to election integrity.
Welker thought she could embarrass the Florida senator with a pair of gotcha questions. She started by trying to get him to commit to accepting the 2024 election results regardless.
Rubio promptly responded that Welker’s question was stupid and pointed out that it could be an unfair election. After Welker rudely interrupted her guest, Rubio pointed out that Democrats, including Crooked Hillary Clinton, have made a habit of refusing to accept election results.
Welker then felt the need to defend Hillary’s “honor” and falsely claimed Bill’s disgraced wife accepted Trump’s historic win. At that moment, things went south for Welker.
Rubio promptly responded by humiliating Welker with simple facts. He pointed out that not only did Hillary claim Trump’ win was illegitimate, but Democrats for years have been making outlandish claims about election fraud after being whipped.
The senator went on to share that many Democrats today are planning not to certify a Trump election victory by falsely claiming he’s an insurrectionist.
“Have you ever asked the Democrats this question on your show?” Rubio queried.

Undeterred, Welker tried to trip Rubio up again by telling him he certified Joe Biden’s 2020 election “win.”
“So by your own definition, are Donald Trump’s claims (of vote-rigging) undermining election results?” Welker asked.
This gotcha question did not work either. Rubio flipped the tables on her again by pointing out some of the ways Democrats and the corporate media rigged the 2020 election.
“What undermines peoples’ confidence in elections is when you have places like Wisconsin where you had over 500 illegal drop box locations, Rubio replied. “(And) where you have places like Georgia where liberal groups are handing $10 (to vote Democrat).”
Welker tried to interrupt Rubio’s truth inferno, but he blew right past her.
“Listen, what undermines elections is when NBC News and every other major news outlet in 2020 censored the Biden laptop story, which turned out to be true, not Russian misinformation,” he continued. “You couldn’t even talk about it on social media, or people would de-platform you.”
“People look at all this. People look at what happened in Arizona when 200,000 ballot signatures did not match. People lose confidence.”
When Welker finally got a word in, she could not deny the inconvertible facts Rubio unleashed. Her only move was to lie to her audience by saying “nothing has been censored” on NBC and continuing to harp on Rubio’s vote.
Too many Republicans accept the corporate media’s narrative on a subject and are forced to play defense to appear likable. Whether or not Rubio ultimately becomes Trump’s running mate, having a sidekick with the talent to frustrate the left is a critical skill that can help make a difference on the campaign trail and in a VP debate.
